A cultura corporal na mídia: possibilidades pedagógicas para a educação física escolar

The Physical education has as objective the students integration in the body movement culture, forming citizens to reframe different cultural aspects of the physical activity, enabling a more critical look. Currently selecting how the body movement culture has been widely approached by Mass Media it is detected a new pedagogical possibility. The several media equipment massively bomb (images, sounds and information) interfering on how the students interpret the reality, since they are exposed to these multiple information and at the same time are absent of a more critical look about what they receive. In this way, the objective of this work was to perform a research in the news/articles from the Jornal A Folha de São Paulo, that allows the development of classes based on the elements of body movement culture and apply them in a public school from Rio Claro-SP city, to detect possibilities and difficulties in the work with the media in the school environment. It employed a qualitative research. The data obtained in this study indicate that the media shows up as a good teaching tool for teaching physical education classes, since students found the classes to enriching the learning process, highlighting topics such as innovation and the closeness they had with the worked information. However, it is necessary to develop further studies to raise other possibilities as well as alternatives to deal with this new reality of the school context

There is an area in the Brazilian Contemporary Literature which is articulated according to the first person narrator who presents the problematic of the own creational action, the expression of a conflictual subjectivity divided between the vertiginous dive into itself – what would imply in a renounce of the world and the reality, where the authors’ work are their only matter – and the social participation - not as an awareness, but as the recognition of the limits and impasses which the real representation imposes on the creative writing. Therefore, this article proposes a reading on the novel O Azul do Filho Morto (2002) by Marcelo Mirisola, to try to situate him into the recent Brazilian literary production, as well as to reflect on his narrative the complex notion of authorship which is called into question on his novels, since they produce an intrincate imbrication between the fictional subject and the empirical image of the writer himself, breaking and confusing the limits between the fictional discourse and the extralinguistic reality which is evoked, manipulated, distorted and made unstable on his representational process.

O processo de compreensão de texto de ficção científica na década de 30: Admirável Mundo Novo à luz da teoria semiótica

This paper is result of an analysis of the Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, made based on the perspective of discursive semiotics. For both, the elements of the generative course of meaning were applied, particularly those in works of Barros (2001) and Fiorin (2000). In view of that each of the three levels (elementary, narrative and discourse) of semiotics approach are considered capable of independent descriptions, we sought through the (re) construction of meaning of specific parts of the work and also the relationship of its thematic route with the time it was composed, found that, as a result of this work, the relationships between fiction and reality and thus the relevance of the work of Aldous Huxley

Cidade média de limiar superior: um estudo a partir de Ribeirão Preto (SP)

This papper aims to discuss Ribeirão Preto as a switched-over intermediate city classification, contrastating with the concept of Metropolitan Region of Ribeirão Preto. The agribusiness sector will be analysed as the main responsible for the representation of Ribeirão Preto city as an Agribusiness Center. Due to this fact, Sertãozinho city example will be presented as Agribusiness City, where acctually concentrates the agro-industrial complex of sugarcane production, while Ribeirão Preto is in fact centralizes management activities. According to the balance of trade analysis, other elements showed up and fortifies the role of this cities. These elements unfolded the analysis of higher education guideline and shopping malls. We also analyzed the urban network of Ribeirão Preto under the concept of the Região de Influência das Cidades (REGIC) and the creation of the project Metropolitan Region of Ribeirão Preto in order to strengthen the central hypothesis as a switched-over medium sized city. Brazil is the largest world producer of yellow passion fruit, a fruit crop which is exigent in nutrients, although little studied in relation to phosphorus fertilizing, fundamental on plant establishment. An experiment was carried out during the period of March/2010 to April/2011 in Remigio County, Paraiba State, Brazil, in order to evaluate the vegetative and productive attributes of yellow passion fruit plants under different sources and doses of phosphorus. Treatments were distributed in randomized blocks in tree replications and twelve plants by plot using the factorial design 2 x 5 referring the sources of superphosphate triple and superphosphate simple at levels P2O5 of 0, 12, 18, 24 and 30 g cave(-1). The following variables were recorded: stem diameter, number of productive branches, number of fruits per plant, fruit mass and fruit yield. The sources and doses of phosphorus affected growth and fruit production of yellow passion plants. The triple superphosphate is the most phosphorus efficient source for growth and fruit production of yellow passion fruit. The triple superphosphate dose which promoted the maximum yield of yellow passion fruit is 42.86 g.

Reflexões sobre o desenvolvimento da prática social e a produção e sistematização do conhecimento matemático

The aim of this study is to reflect about the cultural aspects concerning Mathematics Education, from the relationship betwen the development of the social practice and the production and systematization of knowledge about Mathematics. Thus, in first instance, there is a reflection about the producton level of mathematics knowledge in diverse social contexts, facing the level of complexity of the investigated reality. In a second instance, considerations are made about the necessity of understanding the culture phenomenum, in a totalizing perspective and the implications facing the atomization of culture in researches of ethnographic aspects about the production of mathematics in specific social contexts.

ARSTUDIO: estúdio virtual para produção de conteúdos audiovisuais em realidade aumentada para a TV Digital

“Virtual Studio” is a system developed for the creation of virtual sets, as well as any threedimensional virtual objects that can be digitally integrated to the scenes captured on a real television studio. Through techniques such as chroma-key, computer graphics , augmented reality and virtual reality is possible flexibility in producing content for digital TV, reduce cost and meet 12.485/2011 law, the Brazilian “Law of Pay TV”, which has among its objectives “to increase the production and circulation of diverse and quality Brazilian audiovisual content, generating jobs, income, royalties, professionalism and strengthening of national culture” (ANCINE , Brazilian Nacional Cinema Agency ). Based on this background, an overview of the benefits of using the technologies mentioned for the production of content for digital television is presented. This work involves the development of a system of Interactive Virtual Studio called ARSTUDIO per team of researchers from the Posgraduate Program in Digital Television: Information and Knowledge at UNESP, São Paulo State University in Bauru, State of São Paulo, Brazil.
