Análises moleculares como ferramentas voltadas ao estudo do boto-cinza (Sotalia guianensis) na região do Lagamar de Cananéia

Dentre os mamíferos marinhos presentes na costa brasileira, Sotalia guianensis (subordem Odontoceti, família Delphinidae) é um dos mais comumente encontrados, possuindo ampla distribuição pela América do Sul e Central. Pelo fato de apresentar hábito costeiro, esta espécie encontra-se diretamente relacionada com impactos de origem antrópica tais como poluição, pesca acidental ou degradação de habitats. Somado a estes fatores, a falta de informações relatada pela IUCN surge como outro ponto de preocupação, visto que não se sabe de fato qual o grau de conservação dessa espécie. Por este motivo o presente estudo pretende avaliar características populacionais existentes nos grupos de S. guianensis na região do Lagamar de Cananéia, litoral sul de São Paulo, utilizando-se de microssatélites. Para tanto, aspectos referentes à diversidade genética, grau de parentesco e fluxo gênico entre áreas estuarinas e de mar aberto foram considerados. A amostragem é composta por 22 tecidos oriundos de indivíduos de mar aberto e 11 estuarinos, coletados entre os anos de 1996 e 2009. O material foi amplificado por PCR utilizando-se de oito locos específicos para a espécie. O presente estudo concluiu que a diversidade genética (número de alelos, riqueza alélica, heterozigosidade esperada e observada) ocorrente no grupo de estudo é considerada como moderada quando comparada a outras populações de S. guianensis estudadas. Após a retirada dos locos com indício da presença de alelos nulos, a população mostrou-se em equilíbrio de Hardy-Weinberg, como revelado também pelo valor de FIS. Corroborando com o nível de diversidade genética encontrado, foram avaliados baixos índices de parentesco, sem diferenças significativas entre os grupos em comparação (estuário e mar aberto), bem como entre os sexos, indicando a ausência de dispersão sexo assimétrica... Estudo comparativo do desgaste de ferramentas cerâmicas de Al2O3 em relação às de B4C + TiB2

Due to the high value of the bill that the Brazilian has been paying, one of the most expensive in the world, is becoming increasingly attractive the option for renewable energy in form of distributed micro and minigeneration. In other words, the renewable energy sources are becoming attractive not only because of environmental concerns, but also due to economic issues. This has become even more relevant and concrete after approval of rules by National Agency of Electric Energy (ANEEL) on 4/17/2012 (Normative Resolution n ° 482/2012 of 04/17/2012) aimed at reducing barriers to installation of small distributed generation, including microgeneration, with up to 100 kW of power, and minigeneration, 100 kW to 1 MW. The Normative Resolution n ° 482/2012 creates the Energy Clearing System, which allows consumers to install small generators in its consumer unit and exchange energy with the local distributor. The rule applies to generators that use renewable sources of energy (hydro, solar, biomass, wind and cogeneration qualified). Análise da confiabilidade de equipamentos em uma indústria química com aplicações de ferramentas da melhoria contínua

The constant search for improvements and the survival of organizations makes the strategic guidelines are deployed and executed at the operational levels. This work is the approach to critical analysis of the equipment of a chemical industry through a case study based on the classification of each equipment manufactures through qualitative and quantitative analysis on the pillars of maintenance costs, loss of production, MTBF, contribution margin, Health Safety and Environment (SHE). From this study and future data collection, along with the flow diagram show the main equipment that should be special attention. To this can be prepared an action plan with deadlines and responsible. With the results one can measure the maintenance costs, loss of production and technical availability of the plant, with future gains

This paper aims to analyze the social media monitoring as a specific instrument of Public Relations. Indeed, in the current context this is the most suitable professional to establish the relationship between organizations and their online audiences. Its function is to be manager of communications, mediating and instituting relationships, caring image and reputation of the organization and conducting strategic planning. This case study sought to monitor the Virada Cultural de Bauru through social media's own audience. For this purpose, two types of free tools - Socialmention and Topsy - sustained the diagnosis that turned data into information to be used by this professional communication. The balance shows the power of social media and how they are able to reflect the wishes of consumers, providing often the necessary tools for an efficient communication

It is possible to note that the teaching done in the usual way goes against the language of youth today. It is essential that there be incentives and subsidies regarding the use of such media, whether the responsible government agencies and their members, be they principals and teachers, so there is a reform in the existing educational models and teaching. Currently, teaching is in a purely encyclopedic context of teaching models with pre-defined, ignoring the teaching based on the context in which the student lives (ethnomathematics). Prospecção de novos negócios numa indústria de autopeças: diagnóstico de falhas e sugestões de ferramentas para melhoria

The growth and expansion in auto parts market are directly related to the ability of a company to innovate and gain new customers, increasing its portfolio of customers and products. For this purpose the process of prospecting for new business has become a key process in companies seeking this goal, which requires teams and structures dedicated to it. Besides counting on available resources to carry out prospecting, it is necessary to properly manage the process as a whole, whose main result is a business proposal, which may lead to closer relations with the potential client and the activation of a new business. Process failures and difficulties to formulate a commercial proposal lead to documents produced without the quality needed that makes it harder to obtain new business. The objective of this study is to evaluate the process of new businesses quotation in the auto parts industry and indicate opportunities for improving this process. This goal is achieved by mapping the current process, from the diagnosis of problems and the indication of tools that can prevent or minimize the problems diagnosed. The information supporting this study were obtained by the bibliographical research, participant observation of the process, unstructured interviews with some of the involved people in the process and prospecting tools that can improve it. It results the mapping of new business quotation process, the points indicated as failures and difficulties in the process and the appointment of project management tools that can bring improvements to the new business proposals and pointing the moment for your application in the process

Projeto DMAIC com ferramentas six sigma para redução de custos logísticos de uma multinacional

This work has a focus on project execution DMAIC ( Define Measure Analyze Implement Control) , using the statistical and quality tools to identify , analyze and implement improvements in a given process in order to reduce costs telephony transport of a multinational consumer goods . The multinational consumer goods to be studied has outsourced carriers who perform the distribution of its products , which may lead them straight to their factories or one of its distribution centers to the points of sale ( supermarkets , bakeries , gas stations , convenience cafeterias , among others ) . Whenever there is an unexpected situation or some problem at the time of delivery of the goods to the customer opens an occurrence , ie , the carrier responsible for contacts ( 0800 ) with the contact center company of consumer goods which in turn registers the occurrence, analyzes and sends a response action to the carrier . This work will study the problem with a high number of connections to handle occurrence , through analysis and data collection , identify improvement opportunities, implement them and monitor the results to ensure that the gain and loss reduction are sustainable

This action-research work presents tools which are related to production monitoring: Follow-up of Products Release from Quality Department and Follow-up of Production Volumes. Both tools allows controlling release delays of finished goods based on the quality specifications, and the accurate analysis of production volumes variations compared to pre-established plans. They have direct impact into enterprises inventory levels that are part of Toiletries, Perfumery and Cosmetics market segment. By applying these tools, it´s possible to identify opportunities for process optimization that brings benefits for the final customer. The market has forced companies to maintain high levels of control over their processes , ensuring a product or service quality to its customers . This study comes in the issuance and registration carried out in a company of e-commerce , which is showing problems with the values of weights and dimensions used in the cases cited . The need to eliminate wasteful spending freight caused by shipment of products weighing more than the reality, and to increase the reliability of the information used in the management of processes led to the planning of this project . This work focuses on the development of a PDCA cycle to work in the identification and correction of the causes of the problem , in order to neutralize the current complications and ensure that the problem does not appear again. To aid the mapping of the processes involved , identifying the causes of the problem and implementation of the proposed improvements were used quality tools such as flowcharts , Ishikawa diagrams , Pareto diagrams , and applied statistics

This paper aims to present the contribution of Public Relations in the process of branding, using digital communication as a tool for interaction with the public, and through strategic management, building and maintaining strong and lasting relationships with consumers, resulting in building bonds of sympathy, identification, and networks engaged and loyal consumers to brands. Therefore, were performed bibliographical research covering topics such as information society, network society, the dynamics of social networks, digital media, brands, branding, marketing 3.0, Public Relations and Public Relations 2.0. Were also undertaken observations on communication actions that used digital social media, focusing on interactivity, collaboration and relationship, to better understand how organizations are realizing the importance of interaction and relationship management with the public and how they are performing this communication. Analise comparativa do desempenho de ferramentas no torneamento do aluminio 2024

The aluminium alloys are used in many fields because of their versatility combined with the excellent aluminium’s properties, mentioned in the study. This study aims to compare the performance of polished Hard Metal, Hard Metal covered with TiB2 and High Speed Steel (HSS) tools, at the aluminium 2024 alloy’s turning, as a function of variation of some turning parameters such as: feed, depth of cut and cutting speed; and study the surface finish and the required power during turning by processing the output data, like analyze the chip’s features for each used tool. The results provide information of the tool’s material effects, when submitted to different turning conditions, about the output variable in question. In this way, it was possible to notice that although the Hard Metal covered with TiB2 tool has provided the better surface finish, the chip’s features were better when the turning was accomplished by the Polished Hard Metal tool. In relation to the required turning’s power, the lowest consumption occurred with the High Speed Steel tool

Busca de novos alvos terapêuticos no tratamento de câncer de pulmão utilizando ferramentas de biologia de sistemas

A quimioterapia e uma das formas de tratamentos para o câncer, cujo processo e pela aplicação de medicamentos que alteram a síntese de DNA, interrompendo a divisão celular. No caso do câncer de pulmão, a difículdade está no fato de que as células cancerígenas criam quimiorresistência após um determinado período de tempo. Se o indivíduo desenvolver o câncer de pulmão novamente, deverá ser aplicado outro quimioterápico no paciente, e assim por diante. Nos tratamentos atuais são utilizados combinações de drogas para contornar o problema da quimiorresistência. Este trabalho utilizou a biologia de sistemas para encontrar novos alvos protéicos para auxiliar no desenvolvimento de novos quimioterápicos para o tratamento do câncer de pulmão. Foi construída uma rede baseada nos alvos protéicos já conhecidos. A rede foi expandida com o intuito de buscar quais são as proteínas que interagem com os alvos protéicos á conhecidos. Após a expansão, foram utilizadas análises de centralidades para evidenciar as proteínas mais importantes na rede, e correlacionamos com informação de expressão gênica para verificar se as proteínas mais importantes do ponto de vista topológico estão diferencialmente sub ou super expressas. A análise de centralidade junto a mostra dos dados de expressão gênica convergiu para um bom resultado, foi possível evidenciar algumas proteínas que podem ser utilizadas como novos alvos quimioterápicos
