A solution to the upward migration of an intrusion

The evolution of the upward migration of the magma is a nonlinear and unstable problem in mathematics. It is difficult to solve it. And using the numerical method, the solution is relatively tedious and time-consuming. This paper introduces a method of the instantaneous point source to solve the linear and unstable heat conduction equation during the infinite period of time instead of the solution of the nonlinear and unstable heat conduction equation. The results obtained by this method coincide with those by the numerical method, meaning that this method offers a simple way to solve the nonlinear and unstable heat conduction equation.

苯乙烯/丙烯酸正丁酯/丙烯酸共聚微球的制备及其性能表征

通过乳液聚合法和无皂乳液聚合法制备了苯乙烯/丙烯酸正丁酯/丙烯酸共聚微球.讨论了乳化剂用量、引发剂用量、功能单体、软硬单体用量比等对微球粒径和形态的影响.利用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、傅立叶变换红外光谱仪(FTIR)对微球的粒径、形貌和表面基团进行分析.红外光谱表明,实验室所制备的苯乙烯/丙烯酸正丁酯/丙烯酸共聚微球表面存在丰富的羧基.利用竖片生长法得到自组装的多层胶体微球薄膜.通过对薄膜的反射光谱测量,发现随着湿度的增加,峰位会产生3nm左右的红移.

具有特殊衍射强度分布的二元位相光栅设计

介绍了几种可形成特定衍射强度分布的Dammann位相光栅。在迭代设计中采用了模拟退火算法。对相位元件的输出特性进行了描述，同时分析了误差产生的原因。最后讨论了在金属表面激光改性处理中该类元件作为光束变换器件的应用。

Descriptions of twelve new species and subspecies of mammals from Panama

In the early part of 1911 a collection of 368 mammals was made by me while engaged in the biological survey of the Canal Zone, and adjacent parts of Panama, undertaken by the Smithsonian Institution in cooperation with several government departments, including the War Department and Department of Agriculture. 五轴框架式机器人激光加工系统轨迹算法研究

在集成化智能激光加工系统工作原理的基础上提出了五轴机器人的激光加工轨迹算法。将三维离散数据点集拟合为空间参数曲面，在此参数曲面上规划五轴激光加工的等距轨迹。给出了冲压模具激光强化加工实例，取得了理想的加工效果。

失效准则在广义Mohr空间的表示及应用

在广义的Mohr空间研究材料的破坏和屈服(失效),找到了主应力空间和广义Mohr空间中失效曲面的变换,以及适用于所有失效准则的应力和失效面法向的普适相容关系.对于双剪强度理论,根据它在广义Mohr空间的表示,将之归于最大偏应力理论一类.

岩石剪切破坏过程的RFPA~(2D)数值模拟

运用岩石破裂与失稳过程分析RFPA2D系统,对岩石剪切破裂过程进行了数值模拟研究。将剪切岩石视为非均匀弹-脆岩石材料,模拟结果再现了岩石剪切滑动形成从变形到破坏直至失稳的全过程,剪断面是滑动形成的主要形式,并首先在试样一端出现,然后再形成由一端及里的剪断面扩展直至另一端最后产生剪断面破坏贯通,形成统一的滑动面,岩石剪切破裂面分形维数还对应着剪断面的粗糙程度和力学行为。

Characteristics of flow fields induced by interfacial waves in two-layer fluid

When designing deep ocean structures, it is necessary to estimate the effects of internal waves on the platform and auxiliary parts such as tension leg, riser and mooring lines. Up to now, only a few studies are concerned with the internal wave velocity fields. By using the most representative two-layer model, we have analyzed the behavior of velocity field induced by interfacial wave in the present paper. We find that there may exist velocity shear of fluid particles in the upper and lower layers so that any structures in the ocean are subjected to shear force nearby the interface. In the meantime, the magnitude of velocity for long internal wave appears spatially uniform in the respective layer although they still decay exponentially. Finally, the temporal variation for Stokes and solitary waves are shown to be of periodical and pulse type.

Keine überdurchschnittlichen Nachwuchsjahrgänge bei den Nutzfischen der Nordsee

In January/February 2001, Germany participated with “Walther Herwig III” in the International Bottom Trawl Survey (IBTS) of ICES by contributing 70 half hour tows with the Grande Ouverture Verticale Bottom Trawl (GOV), 78 hydrographic stations, and 88 catches with the Method-Isaac-Kidd net (MIK), mostly in the central and northern North Sea. In total, 368 fishing stations by means of the GOV were covered by the international fleet. Preliminary results indicate that only indices for herring, whiting, and – to some degree – haddock are in the long-term mean. In contrast, the index for cod gives reason to serious concern. In addition, indices for both mackerel and Norway pout do not show any signs for an increasing strength of these stocks. Oceanographic data show that in comparison with the data from 1995 onwards actual temperatures and salinities are in the normal range. However, mean water temperatures of this short period are about more than a half degree above the long-term means of the period 1961 to 1990.

Kinetic Study Of The Rayleigh-Benard Flows

The present paper employs the direct simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) method to study the Rayleigh-Benard flows, where the temperature ratio of the upper to lower plate is fixed to 0.1. For a Knudsen number (Kn) of 0.01, as the Rayleigh number (Ra) increases, the flow changes from the thermal conductive state to the convective state at about Ra=1700, and the calculated relation of heat flux through the lower plate versus Ra is in good agreement with classical experimental and theoretical results. For Kn=0.05, the thermal conductive state remains stable, and the increase of Ra cannot trigger thermal instability.
