Desenvolvimento e implantação de um sistema de gestão de pedidos de informação endereçados à Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte a partir do serviço de informações ao cidadão (E-SIC)

Among the numerous policy changes that the world has experienced in recent years, occupies a prominent place in the quest for greater transparency of public agencies. Transparency has been an important tool in the accountability of the State to promote greater participation of the society by providing information that was previously restricted knowledge of public agencies. Brazil, following this trend, promulgated in May 2012 the Access to Information Act that seeks to disclose the actions of the State at all levels, in all public administration agencies. On the same day of the enactment of the law is provided society with a site that is empowering citizens to make their requests for information to government agencies. The Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, which at that time had no a tool to assist them in managing this demand. This project has the objective to describe, build and implement a solution to solve this problem using Design Science Research as methodology. As result, the solution built in this research became a new module of the institution s ERP became it capable to control the entire process, and will be helpful to others partners which use our system ERP

A infância no âmbito do discurso dos parâmetros curriculares nacionais

The educational institution, committed to the production and transmission of knowledge, has increasingly revealed a specific dimension of that commitment, which is to form people und to produce certain kinds of subjectivity. The child is involved in a context of subjectivity production becoming the object of expectations; expectations arising from the demands of a globalized world, and based upon a discourse of specialized fields of scientific knowledge relative to childhood. The purpose of the present work is to analyse the discourse found in the Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais - PCNs (National Curriculum Guidelines) as concerns the first four years of Elementary education, trying to disclose its ideas and conceptions about the subject-child. Conceiving this discourse as an ideological phenomenon in which the word becomes the central stage where contradictory values are confronted, according to Bakhtin thinking, the analysis constitutes an effort to point out the voices which supply its basis, in what it reveals about the child. Assertions such as "preparing children for the working market", or for "exercising their citizenship", among others which can be found in the institutionalized pedagogical discourse, are stated in a universalized and normative sense, and have become the object of doubt and criticism. The investigation on the implicit and explicit conceptions about childhood as revealed in the PCNs, whose spokesperson has been the school, serves as the starting point for a series of other studies and reflections intended to pave the way for the implementation of educational processes which allow for singular manifestations of the subject-child

O consentimento informado: Qual o seu real valor na prática médica?

Trata-se de um artigo que comenta sobre a real importância do Termo de Consentimento Informado na prática médica. Este documento tem sido cada vez mais usado como uma prática defensiva, a fim de constituir provas para defesa de um eventual processo judicial de responsabilidade médica, desvirtuando assim a idéia original, que seria a de respeitar a autonomia do paciente e delimitar a responsabilidade médica. O documento tem como objetivo mostrar que o médico cumpriu com seu dever de informar. Seu grande valor reside nos casos onde existam riscos de danos irreversíveis ao paciente. Conclui-se, porém, que um prontuário bem elaborado onde se inclui o registro das informações que foram transmitidas, bem como o grau de participação dos pacientes e seus familiares nas decisões terapêuticas, também deve ter valor ético e jurídico semelhante do TCI.

Gastric cryptosporidiosis as a clue for the diagnosis of the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome

Infecções oportunistas do trato gastrointestinal constituem ameaça à população crescente de portadores de imunossupressão. O comprometimento do estômago por Cryptosporidium é incomum. Quando identificado no exame histopatológico da mucosa gástrica, é mandatória a investigação do estado imunológico do hospedeiro. São apresentados os dados clinicopatológicos e endoscópicos de uma paciente de 64 anos com gastrite erosiva associada à infecção por Cryptosporidium. O encontro deste agente oportunista no exame histopatológico da mucosa gástrica foi fundamental para esclarecer a doença de base da paciente, que era a síndrome da imunodeficiência adquirida.

Representação social e estereótipo: a zona muda das representações sociais

Neste artigo, a partir da definição do conceito de zona muda das representações sociais, descrevemos as técnicas de substituição e de descontextualização normativa desenvolvidas pela Escola de Aix-en-Provence para revelar as representações escondidas ou mascaradas em função de sua inadequação às normas sociais vigentes no grupo de referência dos respondentes de questionários. A seguir, relatamos os primeiros estudos realizados com a intenção de revelar elementos representacionais da zona muda de representações e os estudos atuais sobre esse conceito e descrevemos e discutimos três possíveis explicações para a mudança de representações em situações de substituição ou de descontextualização normativa: a projeção de representações condenáveis pelas normas sociais a outros grupos de representação quando os sujeitos falam por outros grupos e não por si mesmo; o efeito da transparência de representações quando são descritas as representações de grupos conhecidos; o efeito da influência social de normas ou de representações proeminentes no grupo de pertença.

This paper examines Elizabeth Bishop's evolving social views, as revealed through her poetry. A selection of poems, written before and after she moved to Brazil in 1951, are compared so as to disclose changes in her personal expression and in her approaches to issues of human interaction and social organization.

NONSTANDARD GAMMA-GAMMA-]L+L- PROCESSES IN RELATIVISTIC HEAVY-ION COLLISIONS

We study lepton pair production in heavy-ion collisions with emphasis on nonstandard contributions to the QED subprocess gamma-gamma --> l+l-. The existence of compositeness of fermions and/or bosons can be tested in this reaction up to the TeV mass scale. We show that for some processes the capabilities of relativistic heavy-ion colliders to disclose new physics surpass the possibilities of e+e- or ppBAR machines. In particular, spin-zero composite particles which couple predominantly to two photons, predicted in composite models, can be studied in a broad range of masses.

Flap vs. "flapless" surgical approach at immediate implants: a histomorphometric study in dogs

AimTo compare the remodeling of the alveolar process at implants installed immediately into extraction sockets by applying a flap or a "flapless" surgical approach in a dog model.Material and methodsImplants were installed immediately into the distal alveoli of the second mandibular premolars of six Labrador dogs. In one side of the mandible, a full-thickness mucoperiosteal flap was elevated (control site), while contra-laterally, the mucosa was gently dislocated, but not elevated (test site) to disclose the alveolar crest. After 4 months of healing, the animals were sacrificed, ground sections were obtained and a histomorphometric analysis was performed.ResultsAfter 4 months of healing, all implants were integrated (n=6). Both at the test and at the control sites, bone resorption occurred with similar outcomes. The buccal bony crest resorption was 1.7 and 1.5 mm at the control and the test sites, respectively.Conclusions"Flapless" implant placement into extraction sockets did not result in the prevention of alveolar bone resorption and did not affect the dimensional changes of the alveolar process following tooth extraction when compared with the usual placement of implants raising mucoperiosteal flaps.To cite this article:Caneva M, Botticelli D, Salata LA, Souza SLS, Bressan E, Lang NP.
