A restauração de filmes no Brasil se tornou uma atividade mais sistemática a partir dos anos 1990, com a introdução das ferramentas digitais. Ao mesmo tempo em que trouxeram uma possibilidade quase ilimitada de intervenção nos filmes, as ferramentas digitais introduziram também um debate acerca da natureza ética envolvendo a restauração de filmes. Nesse contexto, se destacam os projetos de restauração dedicados aos filmes do Cinema Novo. Este trabalho pretende verificar em que medida a restauração digital vem a afetar os elementos de linguagem de Terra em Transe, de Glauber Rocha, filme marcado por uma grande inventividade formal. A análise da restauração do filme foi pautada por alguns dos conceitos de Cesare Brandi, autor que procurou trabalhar com a questão da ética no campo das artes plásticas. Algumas questões relacionadas à ética e à conceituação de restauração, bem como à trajetória histórica da restauração de filmes no Brasil, também são debatidas no texto.

O presente trabalho tem por objetivo conhecer a cultura cinematográfica de jovens estudantes da rede estadual de ensino do Rio de Janeiro. Para tanto, analisa o contexto em que se formam espectadores e investiga seus hábitos, práticas e demandas de consumo. Procurou-se levantar e sistematizar dados sobre as formas como esse público escolhe e se apropria dos filmes e sobre os circuitos à disposição, e correlacioná-las com a configuração do panorama de produção e difusão do setor cinematográfico e audiovisual. A pesquisa confere também destaque às percepções e demandas relativas à atual produção cinematográfica brasileira.

Na estrada, pegadas sugerem passos e descompassos de andarilhos de diferentes tribos. Por toda parte, pisadas: rastejantes, superficiais, firmes, a-fundadas, dançarinas, crianceiras e até rasuradas. A diagramação é a máquina que captura as relações de forças e ressalta, no percurso e no percorrido, linhas, fluxos e composições. Da vida, lampejos de pensamentos desgarram-se. Dos pensamentos, possibilidades de vida desprendem-se. É nesse ponto que a experimentação suscita outros modos de pensamento e desencadeia novas maneiras de viver. É por essa conjugação com a vida que os signos se dão à sensibilidade e coagem-na a sentir. A agressão inicial repercute: leva a memória a aprender um imemorial, a fabular um por vir e a resistir ao presente; introduz o tempo no pensamento e o desafia a pensar o impensado. À vista disso, a aprendizagem conduz as faculdades ao exercício transcendente e requer uma educação voltada para a emissão e a exploração dos signos. Da conexão entre educação, crianceiria e filosofia, forças são duplicadas e devires precipitados.

O trabalho com jovens futebolistas deverá ser escudado em elevados níveis de conhecimento sobre as capacidades físicas e a forma como estas se desenvolvem nas crianças. O objetivo do presente trabalho é de perceber se se observa a existência de especialização metabólica em jovens futebolistas pertencentes ao escalão de iniciados (idade: 13 a 15 anos) e infantis (idade: 10 a 12 anos). Para responder ao objetivo definido, avaliou-se a potência aeróbia (PA) e a potência anaeróbia (PAN) de uma amostra constituída por 64 participantes. Destes, 11 eram praticantes federados infantis de futebol (idade: 11,7 ± 0,5 anos; peso: 44,1 ± 6,9 Kg; IMC: 20,6 ± 2,7 kg/m2), e 21 participantes federados iniciados de futebol (Idade: 13,9 ± 0,7 anos; Peso: 54,9 ± 10,6 Kg; IMC: 20,5 ± 3,0 kg/m2). O grupo de controlo era constituído por 11 participantes do escalão etário de infantis (Idade 10,9 ± 0,3 anos; Peso 40,1 Kg ± 7,3; IMC: 19,2 ± 2,4 kg/m2) e 21 participantes do escalão etário de iniciados (Idade: 13,9 ± 0,8 anos; Peso: 58,9 ± 11,7 Kg; IMC: 22,1 ± 4,4 kg/m2), mas sem prática desportiva federada. A PA (protocolo de Balke modificado com análise direta de gases) e a PAN (protocolo Wingate para o trem inferior) foram avaliadas e comparadas entre grupos, assim como o nível de correlação entre as variáveis aeróbias e as variáveis anaeróbias (SPSS 20.0). Os resultados verificados indicam que para o escalão de infantis o treino não é um factor conducente a uma superior PA e PAN entre os grupos mas que para o escalão dos iniciados a prática regular da modalidade produz efeitos sobre estas componentes. No entanto, no que concerne há especialização metabólica, esta não se verifica em nenhum escalão embora se possa admitir que há indicadores de que esta se comece a manifestar no escalão de iniciados.

The cells unitaria of the solid oxide fuel cell are separated by means of interconnects, which serve as electrical contact between the cells. Lanthanum Chromite (LaCrO3) has been the most common material used as interconnect in solid oxide fuel cells. Reducing the operating temperature around 800 º C of cells to solid oxide fuel make possibilite the use of metallic interconnects as an alternative to ceramic LaCrO3. Metallic interconnects have advantages over ceramic interconnects such as high thermal conductivity, electricity, good ductility, low cost, good physical and mechanical properties. In this work evaluate the thermo-mechanical properties of the metallic substrate and coated metallic substrate with the ceramic LaCrO3 film via spray-pyrolysis, in order to demonstrate the feasibility of using this material as a component of a fuel cell solid oxide. The materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction, oxidation behavior, mechanical strength, optical microscopy (OM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The X-ray diffraction proved the formation phase of the LaCrO3 on the metallic substrate and the identification of the phases formed after the oxidative test and mechanical strength at high temperature. The oxidation behavior showed the increased oxidation resistance of the coated metallic substrate. It was noted that the mechanical resistance to bending of the coated metallic substrate only increases at room temperature. The optical microscopy (OM) has provided an assessment of both the metallic substrate and the LaCrO3 film deposited on the metal substrate that, in comparison with the micrographs obtained from SEM. The SEM one proved the formation of Cr2O3 layer on the metallic substrate and stability of LaCrO3 film after oxidative test, it can also observe the displacement of the ceramic LaCrO3 film after of mechanical testing and mapping of the main elements as chromium, manganese, oxygen, lanthanum in samples after the thermo-mechanical tests.

Alternative and clean energy generation research has been intensified in last decades. Among the alternatives, fuel cells are one of the most important. There are different types of fuel cells, among which stands out intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cell (IT-SOFC) matter of the present work. For application as cathode on this type of devices, the ceramic Ba0.5Sr0.5C0.8Fe0.2O3-δ doped with rare earth ions (Nd, Sm) have been quite promising because they show good ionic conductivity and operate at relatively low temperatures (500 - 800°C). In this work, Ba0.5Sr0.5Co0.8Fe0.2O3-δ, (BaSr)0.5Sm0.5Co0.8Fe0.2O3-δ and (BaSr)0.5Nd0.5C0.8Fe0.2O3-δ were obtained by modified Pechini method, making use of gelatin as polymerizing agent. The powders were characterized by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Temperature Programmed Reduction (TPR) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The perovskite phase was observed in all X-ray patterns for the materials Ba0.5Sr0.5C0.8Fe0.2O3-δ doped with rare earth ions (Nd, Sm). The SEM images showed that the materials have a characteristics porous, with very uniform pore distribution, which are favorable for application as cathodes. Subsequently, screen-printed assymmetrical cells were studied by impedance spectroscopy, to assess the kinetics of the cathode for the reduction reaction of oxygen. The best resistance to the specific area was found for the cathode BSSCF sintered at 1050 °C for 4 hours with around 0.15 Ω.cm2 at 750 °C as well as cathodes BSNCF and BSCF obtained resistances specific area of 0.2 and 0.73 Ω.cm2, respectively, for the same conditions. The polarization curves showed similar behavior to the best cathodes BSSCF and BSNCF, such combination of properties indicates that the film potentially depict good performance as IT-SOFC cathodes

The technique of surface coating using magnetron sputtering is one of the most widely used in the surface engineering, for its versatility in obtaining different films as well as in the micro / nanometric thickness control. Among the various process parameters, those related to the active species of the plasma are of the most fundamental importance in the mechanism and kinetics of deposition. In order to identify the active species of the plasma, parameters such as gas flow, pressure and density of electric power were varied during titanium coating on glass substrate. By flowing argon gas of 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 sccm (cubic centimeters per minute) for each gas flow a sequential scan of the electric current of 0.10, 0.20, 0.30, 0.40 , 0.50 A. The maximum value of 0.50 A was chosen based both on literature data and on limitations of the equipment. The monitoring of plasma species present during the deposition was carried out in situ by the technique of optical emission spectroscopy (OES) through the spectrometer Ocean Optics USB2000 Series. For this purpose, an apparatus was developed to adapt the OES inside the plasma reactor to stay positioned closest to the target. The radiations emitted by the species were detected by an optical fiber placed behind the glass substrate and their intensities as a function of wavelength were, displayed on a monitor screen. The acquisition time for each condition of the plain parameters was related to the minima of spectral lines intensities due to the film formed on the substrate. The intensities of different emission lines of argon and titanium were then analyzed as a function of time, to determine the active species and estimate the thickness of the deposited films. After the deposition, the coated glasses thin films were characterized by optical transmittance through an infrared laser. It was found that the thickness and deposition rate determined by in situ analysis were consistent with the results obtained by laser transmittance

A polyester film has a vast application field, due some properties that are inherent of this kind of material such as, good mechanical resistance, chemical resistance to acids and bases and low production cost. However, this material has some limitations as low superficial tension, flat surface, low affinity to dyers, and poor adhesion which impede the use of the same ones for some finality as good wettability. Among the existent techniques to increase the superficial tension, plasma as energy source is the more promising technique, because of their versatility and for not polluting the environment. The plasma surface polymeric modification has been used for many researchers, because it does not affect the environment with toxic agents, the alterations remains only at nanometric layers and this technique shows expressive results. Then, due to its good acceptance, polyester films were treated with oxygen plasma varying the treatment time from 10 to 60 min with an increase of 10 min to each subsequent treatment. Also, the samples were treated with a gas mixture (nitrogen + oxygen) varying the percentage of each gas the mixture from 0 to 100%, the treatment time remaining constant to all treatments (10 min). After plasma treatment the samples were characterized by contact angle, surface tension, Raman spectroscopy, Infrared attenuated total reflection (IR-ATR) and atomic force microscopy, with the aim to study the wettability increase of treated polyester films as its variables. In the (O2/N2) plasma treatment of polyester films can be observed an increase of superficial roughness superior to those treated by O2 plasma. By the other hand, the chemical modification through the implantation of polar groups at the surface is obtained more easily using O2 plasma treatment

The DGT technique allows one to measure quantitatively free and labile metal species in aquatic systems. Nevertheless, for this approach, knowledge is required of the diffusion coefficients of the analytes in a diffusive layer. In this study, the diffusion coefficients of Hg(II), As(III), Mn(II), Mg(II), Cu(II), Cd(II) were determined in agarose gel and those of Ba(II), Cd(II), Cu(II), Mg(II), Mn(II) e Zn(II) in cellulose acetate membranes. These materials presented good performance and the reported results can be used as a data base for further DGT studies.

The following research aims to address the image of the ordinary person in the films of the Pontos de Cultura (Culture Points) in Natal-RN. About ten years the Federal Government of Brazil created the Cultura Viva (Living Culture) program. It enabled the State to support financially civil society organizations that had developed cultural works in communities across the country. Along with the resources the program developed, in parallel, another action, Cultura Digital (Digital culture), intended to bring the tools of digital technology for people who have never had access to them. As a result of these initiatives were produced short films. These films were characterized by the presence of the image of the ordinary person. The creation of this type of cultural product was benefited by state initiative, however, it was inserted within a historical, political and cultural construction whose research was necessary for this image understood to be understood by its importance: it is the expression of emancipation the ordinary person and not just as a consumer of culture, it identifies them as the protagonists of the society and recognizes their vital role in its organization
