The present study was to apprehend the controversies that underlie the political organization of the category nowadays. The research established time frame as the decade from 2003 to 2013, more precisely the situation that opens with Lula's election to the Presidency and its repercussions for the Brazilian left, social movements and for the category. Through documentary research, we studied the professional aspects that are organized politically in different fields , notably the Federal Council of Social Service (CFESS) and the National Federation of Social Workers (FENAS). Seeking to understand their relationship with the Ethical - Political Project of the profession, public documents were analyzed expressing the political positions of these entities, placing the controversies and political differences between them and understanding the political organization as a means to building professionals and corporate projects many.

The object of this study was motivated by the need to know the possible causes of differences in results achieved in the implementation of a Computerised Management System (CMS) in a Federal University Hospital, located in northeastern Brazil, to understand the factors that influenced the results in different groups when was used the same systems implementation methodologies. Considering the implication of managers, health professionals, other professionals involved and the existing organizational structure in the period when implantation occurred, aimed to know the perception of these people about the development of CMS in the deployment process in your group or sector and also in the organization.The methodology used in this study was the content analysis which provides a rich set of methodological tools for evaluating speeches,enabling us to discourse from the unknown analysis and subjectivity, but with scientific rigor, allowing, at the end, to understand the disparity in results in the implementation of CMS.It was used as a research tool, a semi-structured interview, which exploits a qualitative approach, as suggested by the authors. It was used the approach of the episodic interview, to be more narrative about the experiences of the interview participants in their practical experience along the CMS deployment process in the hospital.Were interviewed three groups of professional and a group of managers, all with higher education in their professions and who participated in the entire implementation process from the beginning.It followed the Bardin's methodology (2009) in all the phases of treatment and interpretation of data, where emerged three categories: the "Thought and Knowledge"; the "Practices and Changes"; the "Obtained Results". From the category "Thought and Knowledge"emerged three subcategories: the "Administrative", the "Institutional" and the "IT Knowledge". From the category "Practices and Changes" emerged three subcategories: "Reality Prior to CMS"; "The IT Project and the implementation of CMS" and "Impacts of the CMS Implementation". From the category "Results Obtained" emerged three subcategories: "Benefits Promoted by CMS", "Dissatisfaction Observed" and "Level of Use and Understanding CMS ". It was observed that the lack of integration of the sectors was a determinant problem in the implementation of CMS. The CMS implementation project was not well dimensioned and divulged in the institution. Different models of leaderships and of objectives of the sectors influenced in the course of the CMS implementation process. We can mention that an CMS should be a consolidation of organizational practices tool already institutionalized and of integration amongthe sectors and not supporting to isolated practices and personalistsfrom sectors of the institution.

The discussions concerning the absence of a management model appropriate to the peculiarities of third sector organizations have not been impeditive to their emphasized expansion in the last decades. In the attempt of understanding this phenomenon from the perspective of those who manage social organizations, this work based on the theory of social representations to understand the notion that organization managers of the third sector - based in Fortaleza CE - have of the part that they play and how this notion influences the direction of their activities. Social representations of managers of four different categories of non-governmental organizations have been investigated, each category composed of two unities. The categories researched were: social integration through art and education, prevention and treatment of alcohol and drug abuse, children s health assistance and community action. By using Doise s Societal Approach, the role of social managers translated in intraindividual, interindividual and situational processes of their actions, has been analysed within the social representations, focusing on beliefs, values, symbols and stories that give meaning to the existence of non-governmental organizations. Analysis and discussion of data displayed the existence of diversity in the understanding of managers within their practice, in other words, the management profile is also its own manager s. The branch where an organization acts is also preponderant in the shaping of a management style. It could be deduced, from to the organizations researched, that professional formation and the manager s social insertion mainly, are determinative factors in the outlining of a management model of its own. It was concluded that, due to heterogeneity of interests and action segments, there is no systematic process for social management among organizations. Management styles are supported by their director s own perception of achievement, who model organizations according to their contingencies

A assistência em pediatria suscita a promoção de um ambiente que atenda as necessidades da criança, por meio de um olhar diferenciado que pondere a especificidade desta fase da vida em que se tem maior dificuldade em lidar com o adoecimento e enfrentar o desconhecido e o medo causado por ele. Considerando que qualquer desestruturação poderá interferir no pleno desenvolvimento da criança, o cuidar em Enfermagem Pediátrica deve contribuir para a diminuição dos efeitos estressores do ambiente hospitalar de forma a tornar a assistência humanizada. Assim, faz-se necessário investir em questões fundamentais de adequação do ambiente de pediatria, com equipamentos e tecnologias que considerem e respeitem a singularidade das necessidades tanto dos usuários quanto dos profissionais. Trabalhar a ambiência em pediatria mostra-se relevante no contexto atual, tendo em vista que devemos preconizar a assistência calcada nos princípios da humanização, que demandam a revisão das práticas cotidianas, com ênfase na criação de espaços de trabalho menos alienantes que valorizem a dignidade do profissional de saúde, da criança e da família. Por esta razão, este estudo teve como objetivo analisar a ambiência de unidades pediátricas como ferramenta para a humanização da assistência a partir da percepção dos diferentes atores implicados no processo de produção de saúde. Para atingi-lo, adotou-se o delineamento da pesquisa qualitativa com caráter exploratório. Os ambientes de investigação foram as Unidades de Pediatria do Hospital Universitário Dr. Miguel Riet Corrêa Jr. (HU/FURG) e do Hospital Escola da Universidade Federal de Pelotas (HE/UFPel), tendo como sujeitos 20 usuários, 20 trabalhadores das referidas unidades, bem como 04 gestores de enfermagem e saúde. A coleta de dados ocorreu no período compreendido de agosto a outubro de 2014, por meio da triangulação metodológica, utilizando-se imagens e dados verbais obtidos por meio de fotos e entrevistas semiestruturadas com emprego de foto-elicitação, respectivamente. Para análise dos dados empregou-se o software Nvivo 10, emergindo as seguintes categorias: Confortabilidade das crianças e de suas famílias; Produção de subjetividades nas crianças e familiares; Produção de subjetividade e autonomia dos trabalhadores de enfermagem; Ambiência como ferramenta facilitadora do processo de trabalho e da produção de saúde. Cada categoria exibe subcategorias que expõem a perspectiva dos sujeitos envolvidos no processo de produção de saúde: usuários, profissionais de enfermagem e gestores. A partir dos resultados do estudo são apontadas as potencialidades e os desafios para a consolidação da ambiência como ferramenta de humanização da unidade de pediatria. Pode-se inferir que para que a unidade de pediatria seja percebida como humanizada deve ser projetada de forma que a sua ambiência comporte aspectos que visem a confortabilidade das crianças e suas famílias; possibilite a produção de subjetividades nas crianças, familiares e a autonomia dos trabalhadores de enfermagem por meio da reflexão acerca dos processos de trabalho e possibilite a utilização do próprio espaço como ferramenta facilitadora da produção de saúde.

The theme of teacher education has always been rich in discussion and presents an abundant literature on the subject. Historically this topic has generated concerns in both development bodies and universities / schools where these people learn or are engaged in professional work. Training teachers is complex and these elements of complexity make necessary a review of paradigms of initial and continuing education. Despite the efforts of the past decades, the lack of teachers in some areas of knowledge is still a big concern, and it can become even worse in the future, what reinforces the importance of new decisions and new directions in order to change this situation. Therefore, the university-school relationship is of fundamental importance, linking and articulating theory and school practice, contextualizing knowledge, renewing and adapting curricula to current times and spaces in order to be able to improve and recover the social and professional value of teachers. From this perspective the education public policies should turn to the encouragement and the rescue of values and principles in quality teacher training. In the course comes the Institutional Teaching Initiation Scholarships Program - PIBID as an innovative program of teacher education working and adding essential factors to the university-school to reinforce good teaching practices taking up the role of co-developer schools. This research is aimed at analyzing the factors that PIBID inserts in the university-school relationship within IFPR Campus Palmas. The theoretical route was marked by authors as Edgar Morin (2003, 2010a, 2010b, 2012), Enrique Leff (2002a, 2002b, 2003, 2010), Boaventura Sousa Santos (1988, 2010a, 2010b, 2013) Menga Lüdke (2005, 2013), Demerval Saviani (2000, 2013), Paulo Freire (2011), among others, among them official documents of PIBID were used in this research too. The methodological approach with exploratory approach, descriptive explanatory was of fundamental importance through data collected by the documentary analysis (BRAZIL, 2007, 2009, 2013) and in the focus groups activities (GATTI, 2012). The focus groups interlocutors constituted of three groups: Area Coordinators, supervisors and teaching initiation scholarships. The categories were defined a priori from the Programme's objectives and emerging categories identified from the analysis process. After both documentary and interlocutors analysis, it was possible to identify that PIBID inserts the following factors in the university-school relationship: the Recognition of the Profession; Innovative Program and Dialogues of Knowledge. For the recognition of the profession mainly because it is an initial and continuing education program; it approximates theory and practice; upgrades the role of the teacher at school and motivates methodological innovations. This Innovative Program promotes the role of co-educational school and it also approximates knowledge of the school reality and promotes the continuous training. The third emerging category university-school relationship promotes dialogs of knowledge; bringing together theory and practice; it allows information exchange and opens new perspectives for teacher training. Finally, it is possible to realize that besides being a new program, PIBID has promoted visible changes through the actions carried out by all subprojects in partnerships between universities and schools, restoring and giving new meanings to the pedagogical practices.
