Diffraction integral formulas of the pulsed wave field in the temporal domain

To resolve the diffraction problems of the pulsed wave field directly in the temporal domain, we extend the Rayleigh diffraction integrals to the temporal domain and then discuss the approximation condition of this diffraction formula. (C) 1997 Optical Society of America.

飞秒强激光脉冲与氢团簇相互作用产生的最大质子能量与团簇尺寸的相关性

报道了飞秒强激光脉冲（60fs，790nm，2×10^16W／cm^2与纳米尺寸的氢团簇（半径rc约为1～3nm）相互作用，产生的最大质子能量Emax对于团簇半径rc相关性的实验研究结果。从激光-氢团簇相互作用产生的质子的飞行时间谱测量以及团簇尺寸的瑞利散射诊断结果，得到Emax与rc^2成线性正比关系，比例系数为0．75，与报道的理论模拟结果一致，表明氢团簇发生纯库仑爆炸。实验结果同时提示，进一步的理论模拟应考虑气体喷流中团簇的尺寸分布。

1994: Optimismus nur für den Nordseesprottenbestand

The new German R.V. "Walther Herwig III" joined the International North Sea Bottom Trawl Survey (IBTS) coordinated in the frame or ICES from February 18 to March 22 1994. A total of 354 valid half hour tows were made by seven research vessels from the different ICES members in order to determine the strength of incoming year classes of commercially most important fish species. Preliminary index figures for the stocks under observation of all participating vessels show that only the North Sea sprat stock developed a substantial year class in 1993. In addition, hydrographic data were collected during the survey. These data show the temperatures and salinities of the northern and central North Sea in most parts beneath the mean values during the period under investigation.

深刻蚀光栅的最新进展

深刻蚀光栅是指亚波长光栅的表面浮雕结构达到一定的优化刻蚀深度，实现特定偏振衍射效率最大值或者偏振控制。光栅是重要的光学器件，在光谱仪、激光核聚变装置中广泛使用。以往的光栅大多是浅表面调制的，也就是表面浮雕的深度不是很深。虽然光栅的理论和制造工艺取得了巨大的进展，但以前并没有预言过，石英光栅通过深刻蚀工艺可以实现偏振分光功能。

Fiber grating sensors for high-temperature measurement

Two fiber grating sensors for high-temperature measurements are proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The interrogation technologies of the sensor systems are all simple, low cost but effective. In the first sensor system, the sensor head is comprised of one fiber Bragg grating (FBG) and two metal rods. The lengths of the rods are different from each other. The coefficients of thermal expansion of the rods are also different from each other. The FBG will be strained by the sensor head when the temperature to be measured changes. The temperature is measured based on the wavelength-shifts of the FBG induced by the strain. In the second sensor system, a long-period fiber grating (LPG) is used as the high-temperature sensor head. The LPG is very-high-temperature stable CO2-Aaser-induced grating and has a linear function of wavelength-temperature in the range of 0 - 800 degrees C. A dynamic range of 0 - 800 degrees C and a resolution of 1 degrees C have been obtained by either the first or the second sensor system. The experimental results agree with theoretical analyses.
