A novel copper-substituted aluminophosphate (CuIST-2) has been synthesized using methylamine as a templating agent. X-Ray diffraction studies provide evidence for an AEN topology similar to the parent Cu-free IST-2.

The advantages a DSL and the benefits its use potentially brings imply that informed decisions on the design of a domain specific language are of paramount importance for its use. We believe that the foundations of such decisions should be informed by analysis of data empirically collected from systems to highlight salient features that should then form the basis of a DSL. To support this theory, we describe an empirical study of a large OSS called Barcode, written in C, and from which we collected two well-known 'slice' based metrics. We analyzed multiple versions of the system and sliced its functions in three separate ways (i.e., input, output and global variables). The purpose of the study was to try and identify sensitivities and traits in those metrics that might inform features of a potential slice-based DSL. Results indicated that cohesion was adversely affected through the use of global variables and that appreciation of the role of function inputs and outputs can be revealed through slicing. The study presented is motivated primarily by the problems with current tools and interfaces experienced directly by the authors in extracting slicing data and the need to promote the benefits that analysis of slice data and slicing in general can offer.

Hexagonal wireless sensor network refers to a network topology where a subset of nodes have six peer neighbors. These nodes form a backbone for multi-hop communications. In a previous work, we proposed the use of hexagonal topology in wireless sensor networks and discussed its properties in relation to real-time (bounded latency) multi-hop communications in large-scale deployments. In that work, we did not consider the problem of hexagonal topology formation in practice - which is the subject of this research. In this paper, we present a decentralized algorithm that forms the hexagonal topology backbone in an arbitrary but sufficiently dense network deployment. We implemented a prototype of our algorithm in NesC for TinyOS based platforms. We present data from field tests of our implementation, collected using a deployment of fifty wireless sensor nodes.

The Purpose of this Work Project is to develop a Marketing plan, with a special focus on promotional activities and partnerships’ developments, for the Big Slice, a fast food Pizzeria that is currently operating in Lisbon, where I'm currently working in the marketing and promotion department. The project aims at developing promotions and key partnerships that maximize the opportunity. For that, I have analyzed the major trends in the food sector in Portugal, and I have conducted several qualitative interviews among young individuals. Finally I have developed and implemented various alternative promotions and established important key partnerships.
