O léxico do ribeirinho amazônico: um exemplo de sustentação e expansão de valores

A análise do léxico específico do ribeirinho põe-nos em contato não só com a praxis sócio-cultural que faz desse grupo social um grupo diferenciado de forma marcante, como também nos proporciona o conhecimento de sua dinâmica interna num espaço e tempo determinados. O campo Léxico das crenças mostra-nos como o caboclo amazônico se relaciona com o sobrenatural: encara-o como algo sempre presente em sua vida, é inclinado a lhe atribuir valor prático e se apresenta como indispensável à sua sobrevivência.

Neste artigo trato do trabalho familiar nas olarias, com especial destaque para o trabalho da mulher. Analiso a posição da mulher na divisão do trabalho e estudo as conseqüências do trabalho para o corpo, bem como a percepção dessas conseqüências pelas trabalhadoras das olarias. Estas, mantidas há gerações na condição de manufaturas, caracterizam-se, na região, pela clandestinidade.

Luís Guilherme Coelho Buchianeri propõe, nesta obra, que nos dias atuais a velocidade continua acelerando exponencial e paradoxalmente, mas apenas no mundo externo. No mundo interno, se desacelera, “tendendo a uma paralisia que não promove a angústia estruturante, mas leva à agonia, à sensação de falta de futuro, à necessidade de preenchimento do tempo com conteúdos dados à imediaticidade dos afetos”. Tal busca de concretude, diz, impede a subjetivação do ser humano moderno. A subjetividade, segundo o autor, considerada lenta e imprecisa, está sendo descartada na era da instantaneidade e da satisfação imediata dos desejos, em que a máquina possibilita que tudo se realize em “tempo real”. Assim, se no nascimento da modernidade a velocidade instigava a ação, transformação e rebeldia, hoje, vazia de conteúdos, paralisa e instala nesse espaço um tempo entediante. Nos jovens, principalmente, essa variedade de estímulos decorrentes dessas mutações no espaço e no tempo produziria uma falta de sentido na vida, acompanhada por “um esvaziamento do sujeito, uma sensação subjetiva a que poderíamos denominar tédio”. Paralelamente a esse tema, discutido amplamente neste livro, que leva em conta a realidade de jovens de diversos países, o autor aborda outra questão contemporânea – a da “depressão como figura de subjetivação da atualidade”. Ao analisar conceitos com base em teorias da Psicologia e da Filosofia, ele procura demonstrar que o tédio se sobressai em relação à depressão como a subjetividade típica de um mundo acelerado e volátil

Toxicidade do dimetilsulfóxido em cães hígidos e doentes renais crônicos

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) treatment on aspects of renal function, serum profile, total blood count parameters and clinical condition of health or chronic kidney disease (CKD) dogs. The evaluations were done before, during and after the administration of DMSO 10% at a dose of 0.5g kg-1, each 24h, for three days. DMSO resulted in some adverse effects in both healthy and CKD dogs, however the effects were more frequent and worse in CKD dogs. Despite these adverse effects, both groups don't have contraindications to use the drug in a short time. The severity of adverse effects related to the DMSO and its possible association with death in stage 4 CKD dogs, are contraindications for the drug in this group of patients.

Peripartum or Transition Period is, generally, defined as the period between three weeks pre-calving and three weeks after calving. It is a critical and crucial stage to the cow’s health and to economic profitability during the lactation. During this phase the cows experience several changes that prepare them to calve and milk yield. These changes contribute to metabolic disorders’ incidence, and can lead to reproductive function and milk yield reduction, and increase the herd’s disposal. Recursos tecnológicos: uma abordagem educacional

This study aimed to analyze the use of technological resources by teachers during their daily practice, especially the computer, in public and private elementary schools in Botucatu - SP. We know that today's society, called the Information Society and Knowledge, changes the context of education, since students have access to various information a short time. For this purpose, we use literature as a methodology and data collection through the application of a questionnaire answered by 49 students in public schools, state and private network cited. The choice of the students took place because of the diversity of schools in which they live. Our intention was not to make generalizations, but knowing more about the use of technology in these contexts from the perspective of students. The choice of subject had reason for their timeliness and necessity of knowledge, thus contributing to a comprehensive education and quality. Through data analysis, was explicit the difference between public and private schools, however, student interest was unanimous by the technologies and equitably

Recuperação de resíduos plásticos provenientes dos processos de injeção

The competitiveness among global markets, the constant need for reducing manufacturing costs and also the growing environmental commitments are fueling the development of techniques for recovery residual parts generated by industrial processes. Among the various areas of a company, we highlight those that involve the processing of raw materials derived from oil, such as polymers (resins), which may take centuries to decompose in the environment and also present as a economic and environmentally strategic point. Thus, this study would examine the recovery of waste polypropylene, from the injection process of a major multinational in the field of home appliances through the recycling by a process comprising the milling, extrusion and chipping of waste material. Easy to deploy, this proposal aims to reduce levels negligible disposal (scrap) of these residues as well as the reintegration of the production process into pieces no visual and no structural importance, aimed at cutting costs and reducing environmental impacts caused. After the survey data in kilograms of waste material generated in a given period of time, and the study of changes in material properties, it would enable the reuse steadily in the injection process

In the era of information technology contacts occur increasingly in virtual form, minimizing the face-to-face. Thus, this study contextualizes the trade fairs as a way to bring business relations / public interest in a real environment and provides the friendly atmosphere, much as in a short time, the company with a large amount of their customers, potential customers, partners, suppliers, and other audiences that may be interesting. However, shows that for the success of these events is a necessary strategic planning, so that subsequent implementation is possible to measure the results. It also envisions the trade fairs getting a new format, that is, their commercial character to give the space for the relational as a way to bring more awareness to organizations and to strengthen ties with their audiences. This beneath the optics of Public Relation as the appropriate professional to manage relationships and therefore be the strategist of the company's participation in a trade fair

O prosumidor e as Relações Públicas na era da convergência midiática

This study supports the role of Public Relations within Organizations, inserted in the context of the media convergence age, in which all the medias complement each other and can be used together to achieve a given goal. The approach is exposed after reflection on consumers’ specificity and identity, in addition to an approach about media convergence age characteristics, such as collective intelligence, participatory culture and affective economy. Throughout this paper, it is also discussed the concept of Transmedia Storytelling and how consumers and communicators stories have become especially important in the convergence age. In this context, consumers are understood as prosumers, since they infer and influence brands, organizations or products, by using words. We showed that, because of those prosumers narratives, an organization may became susceptible to their image destruction in a short period of time or get more acceptance and profitability. Thus, Public Relations presents itself as a communication professional that can use several corporate strategies in the relationship between organizations and their different target audience

Based on a heterogeneous concept of writing, this paper aims at analyzing ‘breaks’ in utterances of a virtual chat for writers between 8 and 12 years of age. The hypothesis is that the segmentation of an utterance in different lines in a short period of time characterizes the writing on the internet as nonconventional and relates it to the prosody and rhythm of the language not restricted to the phonic or graphic dimension of the verbal language.
