Walter Benjamin und das Erleben in der Kindheit

Die Autorin zeigt anhand der Interpretation des Textstücks „Schmetterlingsjagd“ aus Walter Benjamins „Berliner Kindheit um neunzehnhundert“ welche pädagogischen Einsichten gewonnen werden können. Dabei zeigt sich, dass das Kind einen mimetischen Zugang zum Schmetterling einnimmt, um ihn fangen zu können und ihn für seine Sammlung zu sezieren. D.h. der kindliche Zugang des Sich-Ähnlich-Machens wird von Benjamin dialektisch erinnert: er ist nicht nur ein sanftes Sich-Nähern an die Gegenstände der Welt, sondern unterliegt bereits in der Kindheit einer instrumentellen Verwendung. Affective disruption: Walter Benjamin and the 'history' of Ireland's industrial schools

What role do organizations play in writing history? In this paper, I address the part played by organizations in the enactment of large-scale violence, and focus on the ways in which the resulting histories come to be written. Drawing on the case of Ireland's industrial schools, I demonstrate how such accounts can act to serve the interests of those in power, effectively silencing and marginalizing weaker people. A theoretical lens that draws on ideas from Walter Benjamin and Judith Butler is helpful in understanding this; the concept of 'affective disruption' enables an exploration of how people's experiences of organizational violence can be reclaimed from the past, and protected in a continuous remembrance. Overall, this paper contributes a new perspective on the writing of organizational histories, particularly in relation to the enactment of violence.

Apresentando como título uma paráfrase da famosa obra de Leroi-Gourham, este primeiro número da colecção “Pesquisa Académica” é uma colectânea de nove artigos/comunicações resultantes da investigação levada a cabo por Roberto Benjamim e seus alunos do curso de mestrado em comunicação rural da Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco. Os estudos abrangem um vasto leque de assuntos que vão desde a preocupação das metodologias de recolha, transcrição e análise de narrativas orais, à apresentação de exemplos de cartas populares pernambucanas analisadas com essa utensilagem.
