Confirming the Brazilian tendency in the field, the multifamily vertical condominium habitats in Natal are defined as buildings with three or more floors which have been an increasingly used solution. In the mentioned project, the connection between the projectarchitects and the user/ buyers are spread out, by which the first people conceive the realestate property as a creation for the market and not the individual client in specific. Such situation along with technical and financial limitations of the project lead to the adoption of standard solutions to be utilized by clients with different profiles. Besides that, there are various legal and urban parameters by the City Director Plan showing elements of great influence in the final solution adopted by the mentioned edifices. Moving to this subject in general, this project is focused on the case study of the Ed. Ville de Montpellier, having as a base of Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE), considered an efficient tool to analyze and keep up with the progress of the construction of the building, including technical approvals, the application of surveys with the local residents and the creation of informal interviews. The data shows that with time some items that initially motivated the acquisition of the realestate property (with a social common area) move to being less valued, and that the residents quickly alter the pre constructed space, thus seeking to alter the property in a more personal and conforming manner. The possibility of a new emphasis for projects on the mentioned space should also be in discussion, the created project calls for the attention of projected conceptual aspects and interdependence within project and construction which permits the indication of some recommendations for the projection of multifamily residential buildings within the studied realm

O uso de Tecnologia da Informação (TI) tem evoluído muito nos últimos anos e isto influencia, sem dúvida, o ensino e a prática da arquitetura. Observa-se que o ensino de projeto nas escolas de arquitetura se dá através de um processo prático-reflexivo, no qual os alunos aprendem fazendo, sob a orientação dos professores. O conhecimento arquitetônico, portanto, vai sendo construído através da análise e interpretação do projeto e a busca de significados a partir da sua representação, sejam esboços à mão livre ou imagens digitais. Desta forma, as disciplinas de prática projetual têm grande importância, sendo consideradas fundamentais para a formação do arquiteto. Reconhecendo que a aplicação da TI gera novos paradigmas projetuais, mostrou-se importante a investigação da docência e da prática profissional. Este trabalho tem por objetivo caracterizar a presença e o uso de TI no ensino de projeto arquitetônico nas Faculdades de Arquitetura e Urbanismo (FAU) de Porto Alegre, RS. Demonstra-se, através dos resultados de estudo exploratório em quatro FAUs, as características pessoais e a forma como estão sendo desenvolvidas as habilidades dos alunos para a prática de projeto arquitetônico em função das tecnologias disponíveis e das tendências futuras que se apresentam a estes profissionais. Verificou-se como os estudantes usam recursos computacionais em geral, qual o seu o nível de conhecimento sobre TI e como tem sido feita a abordagem pelas FAUs deste tema. Explorou-se, de forma especial, a aplicação de sistemas CAD no processo de projeto arquitetônico Constatou-se que os sistemas ainda são bastante sub utilizados e que as disciplinas dos currículos das FAUs estudadas levam a uma formação aquém da necessidade exigida pelos escritórios de arquitetura, onde o uso de recursos computacionais é corrente. Para estarem adequados as exigências do mercado de trabalho, os estudantes além de completarem o seu Curso, necessitam superar a necessidade de aprendizagem de sistemas computacionais, muitas vezes adquirida durante o estágio ou em cursos extra-curriculares.

O trabalho tem como objetivo estudar as repercussões do emprego de recursos informáticos aplicados ao projeto arquitetônico e da sua interação com o usuário. A relação entre computação gráfica e projeto arquitetônico é um assunto já bastante discutido, seja como a aplicação do potencial matemático da ferramenta para a composição das formas, ou ainda, como experimentações no campo da realidade virtual. No entanto, sob o ponto de vista do projeto arquitetônico e da sua apropriação da ferramenta pouco se tem dito, é nesta lacuna que a dissertação pretende se inserir. Desenvolvo a questão em duas partes principais. A primeira tem o objetivo de situar o leitor no assunto proposto, procurando possíveis repostas para relação entre usuário/projeto/máquina. A segunda parte se concentra no projeto arquitetônico como forma de investigação, amparada em um estudo de caso, resultado da observação do atelier. Procuro tecer as relações entre o projeto dos alunos, como resposta às instruções dos professores, e o uso da computação gráfica na composição do projeto.

Criança gosta mesmo de brincar. Em casa, na rua, em qualquer lugar. E por que não na escola? O lugar de estudar não poderia ter mais espaços para brincar? Faltam em nossas escolas áreas mais interessantes e atraentes que o playground convencional, que incitem a aventura, o desafio, às brincadeiras em grupo. A melhor forma de se aprender na infância é através das brincadeiras, que formam o alicerce para o seu futuro lingüístico, de raciocínio, de lógica, de inserção na sociedade. Por meio das brincadeiras, as crianças evidenciam seus sentimentos, seu entendimento de mundo, suas descobertas, suas construções. Quando bem orientadas e acompanhadas, elas não são apenas passatempo e sim a forma mais consistente e genuína de aprendizagem. A aprendizagem na Educação Infantil acontece de forma experimental, ou seja, a criança necessita fazer e fazendo vai construindo os seus conceitos. No playground, a criança experimenta os brinquedos que ainda não usou, arrisca, persiste, esforça-se, sem a crítica e a vergonha que mais tarde inibe e desestimula as suas ações. Na EMEI Márcia de Almeida Bighetti, localizada no Núcleo Habitacional Mary Dota na cidade de Bauru, espaço é que não falta para um projeto lúdico. Por possuir um enorme terreno para um pequeno bloco de salas de aula e apenas alguns brinquedos no parquinho, essa foi a escola escolhida para a proposta de um espaço lúdico infantil

São José dos Campos, cidade do interior paulista, possui aproximadamente 62% de sua área territorial definida por legislação como Área de Proteção Ambiental – APA. Um fragmento desse total é formado pelo Banhado (ampla área alagada com características naturais preservadas avistada de toda a região central) e pelo Parque Burle Marx ou, como é conhecido pela população, o Parque da Cidade. Esse Parque é estruturado por jardins de Roberto Burle Marx e construções assinadas pelo arquiteto modernista Rino Levi (a residência de Olivo Gomes, a usina de leite e o galpão gaivotas - utilizado para grandes feiras e eventos). Apesar da riqueza desse conjunto o parque não é utilizado pela população de forma efetiva. A proposta deste trabalho nasceu da análise feita acima e do fato que existe ampla área livre pronta a receber novos equipamentos públicos de forma a estimular a população a utilizar o parque de forma mais assídua. Um dos equipamentos propostos é uma nova biblioteca, já que a biblioteca da cidade carece de ampliação

The great demand for Federal Institutions of High Education (IFES) design, triggered by the favourable political moment, boosts the public works market and brings with it the stigma of seeking the lowest cost and meet the federal Law 8.666/93 (Bids). In this context, this research makes an analysis of compliance with Fire Safety’s normative requirements in IFES’s architectural designs, taking this point as an evaluation of quality of designs. For the study, were used, IFES’s designs, specifically from UFERSA – Universidade Federal Rural do Semiárido and UFRN – Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, selected by the relationship use x public served and yet, in the replication of these buildings’ construction. The research was developed through the identification of the Fire Safety applicable legislation to the designs in question, with the determination of the demanded conditions that are architect’s autonomy or that affect the architectural design. Tabulated the requirements, through data collection and measures gathered in the blueprints, was made a comparison and verification of the compliance with these. The results of this evaluation reveal that the minimum requirements was not fulfilled and that IFES’s architectural designs, taken as object in this study, certainly will suffer restrictions in their regularization process with the Fire Department. It is concluded that is necessary an improvement in the IFES’s designs to meet the minimum fire safety regulations and improvement in quality. Moreover, the results direct to the understanding that level of knowledge about Fire Safety received in undergraduate by architects is insufficient for appropriate elaboration of architectural designs in this area.

Esta pesquisa tem como núcleo o estudo de residências projetadas pelo arquiteto Edgar Albuquerque Graeff em Porto Alegre. Formado em 1947 pela Faculdade Nacional de Arquitetura da Universidade do Brasil no Rio de Janeiro, Graeff revelou grande influência da arquitetura moderna carioca em seu trabalho. Partindo do estudo mais abrangente da produção residencial em Porto Alegre entre 1940 e 1960, em seu contexto e suas peculiaridades, buscase uma compreensão dos caminhos da arquitetura moderna na cidade de Porto Alegre em sua origem e desenvolvimento. Pretende-se sustentar através de registros históricos, depoimentos e dos próprios projetos, o caráter pioneiro e singular do trabalho de Edgar Graeff em Porto Alegre, sua contribuição para o surgimento local de uma arquitetura moderna com fortes referências à obra de Lúcio Costa, Oscar Niemeyer e outros expoentes da escola carioca. O trabalho compreende a revisão e o estudo das diferentes influências e orientações arquitetônicas locais nas primeiras décadas do século XX, registrando a evolução do cenário porto-alegrense até o momento de introdução do modernismo na cidade. Na década de 40 Edgar Graeff contribuiu para a evolução desta arquitetura, sendo arquiteto praticante, teórico e professor do curso de arquitetura da UFRGS. O impacto de residências como a projetada para Edvaldo P. Paiva foi um marco divisor no campo das idéias, dos costumes e da cultura arquitetônica em Porto Alegre, transpondo para o nosso contexto local estratégias e elementos de arquitetura que até então eram usadas principalmente por arquitetos do Rio de Janeiro e São Paulo. Tais propostas arquitetônicas manifestaram localmente o pensamento moderno preconizado por Le Corbusier.

The purpose of this research is to study the portable or reassemblable architectures, which, different from conventional architecture (whose designs are of permanent buildings), corresponds to the designing of spaces with temporary purposes. The focus of the study is the architectural design of spaces that are produced from building systems that can to be moved to different places (process of assembly / disassembly / reassembly) in order to identify the types of spaces generated and the processes used in their design / projecting. The aim is to investigate relationships between the initial project conceived based on a Reassemblable Construction System (RCS) and its application in the architectural design of professionals and students in order to contribute to the understanding of the specificities of this type of design activity. To this end it was developed the exploratory research based on multimedia methods, which includes: documentary analysis, technical visits, interviews, surveys, academic exercise and documentation by images. Although the study is not conclusive, the results indicate significant differences between the point of view of the RCS´s designers and its users (architects and architecture students) since the users demonstrated to have some difficulty to access the features provided for the first group, in particular the students. It is also demonstrated that the use of RCSs seems to change the appreciation / hierarchization of the conditions of project design, since, unlike what happens in traditional architectural design, the designers who use them seem to be more concerned with constructive issues, especially the structural elements (support and covering), instead of functionality, aesthetics and even physical characteristics of the site

This thesis describes the theoretical, methodological and programmatic proposal for a multifamily residential building located in the urban expansion area of Parnamirim/RN, inserted in the program Minha Casa Minha Vida and level of energy efficiency "A", as the RegulamentoTécnico de Qualidade (RTQ-R/INMETRO) for residential buildings. The development project initially consists of procedures as the study of theoretical, architectural programming and cases studies. With the delimitation of a field solution, situated between the reference and the context, proposals are studied to determine the solution and architectural detailing of the proposal. The architectural program was built based on the method of Problem Seeking (Peña and Parshall, 2001) and research has highlighted aspects of reducing the environmental impact and of the program Minha Casa Minha Vida , among others. The design process was characterized by the incorporation of aspects reviewed and programmed, seeking them compatible and have an economically viable building, socio-spatial quality and energy efficient. The results show that it is possible to obtain a building that meets the constraints of the program that provides housing and energy efficiency level A - and many other environmental qualities and constructive, particularly through architectural design

The purpose of this dissertation is the architectural project of the ambulatory complex of the Federal University of Pará in Belém. It is a health care establishment whose focus is sustainability, energy efficiency and humanization. This design went through the application of architectural concepts, the study of references (theorical and empirical ones), planning, examining the terrain and its conditions and the preliminay design and resulted in a preliminary architecture blueprint. The empirical research is based on the main building of the Hospital Universitário João de Barros Barreto in Belém, Hospital Sarah Kubitschek of Fortaleza (Architect João Filgueiras de Lima - Lelé) and Hospital e Maternity São Luiz of São Paulo (Architect Siegbert Zanettini). Part of the planning is based on the method "Problem Seeking of Pena and Parshal (2001)". During the development process I sought to incorporate sustainability criterias, energy efficiency and humanization. The urban growth without the prior infrastructure has caused many environmental impacts such as the damage to quality of the water resources in the cities. Along with natural scarcity in some regions, this is one of the factors that limit the availability of drinking water. As a result, the conservation of drinking water is becoming one of the major concerns in sustainable architectural projects. Within this context, this dissertation proposes to develop the design of an educational building focusing on water consumption rationalization. The proposed project is located in UFRN Campus at Currais Novos, an area of warm and dry climate and low rainfall. The proposal seeks to integrate ways to reduce water consumption o to architecture, in order to exploit the advantages and savings. After quantifying the benefits achieved, it was concluded that it is possible to reduce significantly the drinking water consumption in educational buildings in universities using three principles: reduction the water consumption at the point of use, replacement of the water source and internal recycling. Calculations and simulations indicated that the proposed building may have water consumption up to 56% lower than if it would be provided by conventional facilities. Rationalization of water consumption brings direct and indirect benefits, with influences on the environmental, social and economic fields
