The speech of romance, Death With Interruptions, play with the serious and the comic describing life, replete of conventions, of ten million habitants at an unnamed country. The characters are destituted of personal identity and assume collective identities. The artistic text shows itself fulfilled by a stubborn critic that denounces revolt, forged by the sensation of disaggregation and loss of values and the verification of a picture of misery, injustice and inconsequence, that results from a greedy run of interests. The narrator uses irony to personal and collective attitudes, the unused situations and the very idea of death and god. The text shows itself full of denounces, related to the general state of disaggregation. Split in two cores (the momentary interruption of death activities and the return to hers works), the narrative speech establish a reality, pervade by fantastic, that forces us to a metaphysics reflection about the insoluble enigmas that surrounds the human existence. Death suffers a humanization process, as a tentative to bring her closer to the human kind, to her exact place. Keywords: romance; death; identities.

Tutameia - Terceiras Estórias was published in July 1967 and it is the last book published by João Guimarães Rosa. The minimum narratives that make up the volume clash against the style presented by the author in previous works. Originally written for publication in the journal O Pulso, the 40 stories represent the capacity of the author to synthesize the fact narrated at the same the time the narrative extends the significant disposal through the words unspoken. The space unfolding narrative is the same that characterizes others works from Guimarães Rosa, populated by gangsters, cowboys, cattle herds and buritis. This article deals with the memorialist narrative strategy in “– Uai, Eu?” by Guimarães Rosa, a short story presented in Tutameia (1967). To accomplish that task, it was checked the literary criticism on the theme, highlighting considerations from Araújo (2001), Candido (2002), Coutinho (1997), Bosi (1988), Duarte (2001), Riedel (1980) and Santos (1991). As literary analysis procedure resorts on observation of the issues that make up the narrative organization of the short story, according to the narratological perspective by Gérard Genette, in Narrative discourse. The compositional details observation indicates a narrative strategy that works as an adjunct in narrator’s triparted goal: intelligence, kindness and justice. It concludes that the reformed and testimonial Jimirulino’s behaviour, represented by its own voice in narration, works as an argument in favor of the deponent that, through it, seems unable to perceive the contradictions in his own behavior at the crime time, in the past.

In this paper, I analyzed, according to Discourse Analysis approach, the narratives of drug-addicted people which were found on a website of the drug rehabilitation and treatment clinic www.ctiviva.com.br. I could find common characteristics among the reported narratives that integrate the group’s opinion into the same ideological position. I could also find a collective subject, considering the narratives made by the drug-addicted people who were under treatment into the reported clinic whose site was mentioned before. That site displays the 10 narratives that composed this corpus research. That analysis focused the construction of the process that indicates a social position of group, considering three categories: key-expressions; key-ideas and anchorage, according to Lefèvre (2005). The first one indicates excerpts of testimonials that facilitates the key-words` identification; the second one, the key-words, indicates the meanings of each testimonial, and the last one, the anchorage, indicates the ideology of the discourse. Managing such categories enabled the identification of all the narratives as situation category, as proposed by Bertaux (2010). The results indicated two criteria that establish relationships of power: family and the good treatment. The construction of a collective subject evidenced the ideologies of the clinic and of the treatments that were given to the patients.
