The (Disen) Chant (ment) of the Bird: Memory and Testimony in Cacaso´s verses

The purpose of this text is to reflect on some of Antônio Carlos Ferreira de Brito (Cacaso)´s verses aiming to demonstrate not only their oscillations, but also how they are fundamentally related to the moment of production. The excess of reality - conceived as trauma – it is hard to be assimilated and it is revealed in some poems. Wounded-poems that testify about the impossibility of saying at the same time they are the evidence of the necessity of telling. Telling to, cathartically, expel the pain and release the traumatic memory. Resistance to remembering and facing the pain cross this poetic path and suggest how they both are almost irreconcilable. Some concepts like trauma, memory and testimony will be elucidated.        

GODOFREDO RANGEL AND AUTRAN DOURADO: THE ARTIST AND APPRENTICE

The name Godofredo Rangel has been fixed itself in the history of Brazilian literature mainly as Monteiro Lobato's eternal friend and correspondent. Nevertheless, his memory is revered by writers of the same strain as Carlos Drummond de Andrade and Autran Dourado. The latter, above all, in more than one occasion, declared having had in Rangel a master in writing, whose guidance had been fundamental to the development of his literary vocation. In the novel Um artista aprendiz (n.t.: An apprentice artist), from 1989, Dourado narrates the trajectory of a novice writer, whose  encounter with the literary personality of Godofredo Rangel, fictionalized by the author in the character of Sílvio sousa, is also decisive. This study consists of the comparison between the testimony of Autran Dourado about Godofredo Rangel and the fictional matter of the novel, searching in them the elements to understand what Dourado and others considered as being a work of mastery in the literary art.

THE CONTENTION OF WORDS AND ACTIONS FRONT THE POWER: EFFECTS OF HUMAN BEING REPRESENTED IN THE TESTEMONY OF ROMANCE SEM PALAVRAS

This Article invests in the investigative study on the representation of the contention’s effects of words and actions from human beings front of power. Such effects are represented in the testimony of Romance sem palavras by Carlos Heitor Cony. In this text, the author introduces elements of political repression. At a time when the dictatorial regime in force in Brazilian lands. The aim of this article is to highlight a set of fragments of narrative evidenced by the testimony and experience of the protagonist. Although this is a fictional production, as its title implies, there is a real game between the real and imaginary, since the own author lived the reality of dictatorship. KEYWORDS: Representation. Memória, Pós-memória e Formação Crítica de Professores de Línguas

As narrativas e as histórias sobre as experiências dos professores em formação, antes e durante seu trabalho profissional, são comumente utilizadas para entender as identidades dos professores de línguas, por elas estar influenciadas pelas experiências gravadas nas memórias. Porém, o conceito de pós-memória emergiu recentemente e parece não ter sido ainda utilizado na educação dos professores de línguas. Neste artigo, se comentam as possibilidades de utilizar o conceito de pós-memória na educação de professores de línguas, através das narrativas sobre as suas experiências. O propósito é estudar com mais profundidade as influências de eventos históricos traumáticos, como O Regime Militar no Brasil, sobre as identidades dos professores de inglês no Brasil, antes e durante seu trabalho profissional, através das narrativas e histórias sobre as suas experiências. O principal objetivo é analisar as relações e inter-relações entre memória, pós-memória e experiências e as identidades dos professores de inglês, especialmente com relação às experiências influenciadas pelo período militar no Brasil.
