LEITURA LITERÁRIA: ESPELHO E ESTRADA NA FORMAÇÃO DO SER

studying the literary production to children implies (a) an accurate look in order to choose among the several books published and (b) the definition of a theoretical corpus to shine a light on the selected text. This study aims at investigating the work “Menino do rio doce”, written by Ziraldo and illustrated by the Dumont family. It is a hybrid text made by two systems: the verbal and the visual, and it is analyzed as such. The verbal text is a poetic prose whose enunciative voice – a boy – is in third person and assumes a lyrical character. When he reveals his relationship with the river that flows in the village, the boy finds out his environment and realizes he’s inserted in a culture that characterizes the formation of an identity and his own self-knowledge.

ÁGUA VIVA: UM ROMANCE LÍRICO DE CLARICE LISPECTOR

In Água viva, text of Clarice Lispector, published in 1973, stays evident the encounter of the poetry with the fiction prose, forming a unity. This article aims to investigate how this encounter occurs and to demonstrate the ways by which the poetry interlaces with the fiction narrative, in other words, how the process of fusion of the categories of the narrative with the lyric modes occurs, resulting in the hybridism of the narrative genre, in the lyric novel. In fact, the narrative categories, in the end, surrender to the appeals of the lyric poetry, making the work hybrid. Inspired in the existentialist´s theories of Martin Heidegger and of Jean-Paul-Sartre, the Lispector´s text undertakes a questioning concerning the existence, trying to understand the human condition. Themost intimate questionings and the deepest emotions, belonging to the abysmal part of the ‘dasein’, can not be expressed by the common speech. The characters, in the impossibility of express, by the use of common words, their existential anguish, utilizes a language permeated by the own resources of the poetry, trying to embrace all the aspects of their subjectivity. The characters assume, then, a poetic-lyric discourse, highly suggestive. It is there that the prose allows to be invaded by the poetry and it is how occurs the establishment, in the text, of the union between prose and poetry. The literary overtakes thereby the common discourse and configures itself in an artistic speech. To make possible the work of analysis, some theorists of the matter are convoked such as Ralph Freedman and Rosa Maria Goulart, as other studious of Lispector´s work.

Oedipos hermeneut – the poetic-ontological dimension of the tragedy

This work intends to dialogue with questions of Oedipus, the mythical character, brought about by Sophocles tragic drama. In his reflective journey in search of his being, especially in the play Oedipus Rex, Oedipus investigates its own path to death. We propose reflect the death as a condition of possibility for the emergence of Oedipus as from his own ruins. Thus, our assumption is that the uncovering Oedipus' truth culminate at the end of the play, with the death of one of his personas, one of the selves of character. The issue of the interpretation therefore is crucial, and it leads to the title of this work. Therefore Oedipus is a hermeneut in the extent that he interprets the enigma that structures his own mythical history.
