This work is a reflection on black women’s writing, which has been and yet, sometimes, is marginalized and reduced to invisibly in our literary field due to several factors . Therefore, it becomes important to give visibility to this writing so as to discuss the marks of feminism, race and gender that it brings, showing its contributions for the construction of a new and empowered discourse on black women, which represents a differential for literary discourse and affects the canon, since it t promotes the construction of a new perspective, a differentiated representation of black women, emphasizing their forms of struggle and resistance, front the exclusionary sociocultural systems. In order to do that, I bring up some theoretical voices such as that, of Guacira Lopes Louro (1997); Abdias do Nascimento (2000); Tatau Godinho (2008), among others that deal with the theme, as well as texts written by black women writers such as Alzira Rufino, Esmeralda Ribeiro e Cristiane Sobral to argue and think about a literature that deals with black women autonomy, and challenges the dominant power systems, a literature that gives emphasis to women and ethnic-racial issues from perspective of the black person herself , since this project was relegated to oblivion for too long or portrayed in as stereotyped way by other voices, other discourses guided by a masculine and eurocentric bias. In this way, we hope to show how it is relevant to black women's literature, because makes us reflect and face the mechanisms of oppression, subalternization against women, especially black women, and race and gender prejudice, and its effects, that still can be seen daily in different social and cultural contexts.

Studies carried out so far allow us to observe important aspects regarding the transformation of the dramatic genre. They show how either traditional or new formal elements are assimilated or reworked by the authors in Modernism and in contemporary productions, with different meanings, transforming the dramatic genre in such a way that typical elements of the ancient tragic genre assume different meanings in the contemporary tragic drama. The same phenomenon can be identified in the elements of metatheater, which undergo displacements in the Vanguard Theater, defining new functions. This approach assumed by most contemporary cultural practices is celebrated as a creative possibility to renew the cultural matrixes; however, such practices are not new, and are found in the production of the poet, playwright and writer Oswald de Andrade. It is important to mention that even Oswald de Andrade revisited traditional sources, as observed by Gilberto Mendonça Teles (2009) when addressing the models of cultural interpretation in the current days. Although there are several studies on Oswald de Andrade’s works, focusing mainly on his prose and poetry, his theatrical texts are still poorly studied. Considering Oswald de Andrade's productions, his theatrical texts present procedures that testify his modernity in the capacity of anticipating changes, which are currently conceived as procedures and trends of contemporary poetics. This reflection is what is intended in the present text.

This paper aims to verify how the presence of the author Adelino Magalhães (1887-1969) has been portrayed over the years by both the Brazilian literary historiography and the specialized literary criticism. Given that the author raises, both in the historiography and in the criticism, dissonant opinion, the present article tries to establish the largest possible number of studies that deal with Magalhães’s prose, as well as to show the status of discussions about his inclusion or omission within the Brazilian Modernism. To conclude so, it was made, at first, a path of the major Brazilian literary historiography, trying to highlight the uncertain presence and, often conflicting, of the writer in a given period and/or in certain literary aesthetics. In a second moment, there were covered paths on Magalhães’s critical work by studying his critical fortune.

In this text I examine recent changes in how literature is being produced and circulated in Brazil. These shifts can be related, among other factors, to the growing use of the internet as a way of divulging literary works and to the expansion of national literary life and narrative space. My examination sets out from Silviano Santiago’s analysis of the ‘deliteraturization’ movement in his historical account of the written press. Taking an opposite tack to this writer and critic, though, I look to explore the diverse forms of ‘serialization’ and ‘literaturization’ found among contemporary media such as the internet and television. As I aim to show, the migration of newspaper serials and literary works to web sites, blogs and social networks poses diverse questions and challenges to the critic, including the emergence of new figures of author and reader, accompanied by different forms of mediating and legitimizing literary works. These changes are also essential to understanding the profile of the new generation of literary supplements circulating in Brazil today.

This article aims to approach the issue of deployment of the self in the short story "O círculo", by Ruth Laus, through the figure of the character Paula and the pursuit of her double. The study of the female character, while literary representation, and related to the duplicity, is associated with issues related to identity and the construction of the self, from an internal scission, allowing therefore to examine the representation of the double, permeated by issues related to otherness, especially regarding to the maintenance of subjectivity in the search of the Other as an extension of the self. The double, in turn, is established as the phenomenon able to settle an active connection with the world, the dialectic condition of the creature, as a way of affirmation from the conception of (re)cognition of the Other as a link between past-present-future in the (re)construction of the unit and establishment of the balance. For the character Paula the element that indicates the division of her personality is the aborted fetus and thenceforth begins the maintenance of the inner Self of the protagonist: find what from her was split.

This article aims to analyze how the black child is characterized in relation to the stereotypes created around the black, in the course of Brazilian history in children's narratives, from a sociological approach to the literary text and the assumptions of comparative literature. To this end, we selected some childish narratives that feature characters black children, and you can see that these works reveal the transformations that occurred in Brazilian society with regard to black. This work is based on the theoretical support in the works of Rosangela Malachias and Florestan Fernandes, among others. The analysis was organized to observe the difficulties of identifying the black child before the European cultural dictates about the standard model of beauty. In general, one can observe that the production of works whose characters are black children intensified after the 1988 Constitution and the Law 10.639/2003. The literary discourse aimed at children, so undergoes changes before changes in society and shows a new socio-historical context in which minorities gain more space, but respect for differences yet to occur effectively in social relations that the black is really valued.

This paper has the objective to analyze the novel “A Gentle Creature”, of the Russian novelist Fyodor Dostoevsky, using the theoretical concepts covered in the text “1874 – Three Novellas, or ‘What Happened?’” (1996), which makes up the volume 3 of the work A Thousand Plateaus: Capitalism and Schizophrenia, of the French philosophers Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari. These concepts can be triggered to realize the approach of the question about the segmentarity lines, which make it possible to make the observation of the changes of state that have occurred with the characters in a literary work, of the ways how undertake movements of territorialization, deterritorialization and reterritorialization in development of such segmentarity lines, which are termed as hard or molar, molecular or malleable, and trail, having the view that it is through them that these characters go through this transformation process. Starting from this analysis, will pick up, too, to connect the theory of these two French philosophers with polyphonic theory presented by Russian philosopher and theorist of language Mikhail Bakhtin in the book Problems of Dostoevsky's poetics (1997), which investigate the concept of polyphony, from Dostoevsky's work, being, among other texts analyzed the Russian novelist, novel to be studied in this work. And the perspective that arises in the analysis proposed in this article, what is sought is to conduct a parallel investigation of how both theories have the possibility of development work in the observation of the characteristics of a literary work, and these characteristics likely to these concepts are related to the lines of segmentarity deleuzo-guattarianas and Bakhtin's polyphony.

The freedom to associate ideas, cultures, texts of different countries is an essential comparative procedure also needed to understand the globalized world. It is a critical consensus that one of the many tools of what we call literature is intertextuality. I’m using this concept in it’s broadest sense, including quotation, reference, parody, paraphrases: all different kinds of mechanisms that puts a text in contact whit another text. We propose, in the following article, to discuss if the way that the Portuguese writer Gonçalo Tavares deals with literature in the collection The Neighborhood puts us in front of a new form of approach to literary tradition and with a new form of critic. We also want to propose that the concept of intertextuality is amplified by his work.
