THE POETRY OF HELENA KOLODY IN THE PARANÁ LITERATURE CONTEXT

Helena Kolody is a Brazilian poet, daughter of Ukrainian emigrants and was born on October 12th, 1912, in Cruz Machado, state of Paraná. Died on 14th February, 2004, in Curitiba, PR. With twelve published books, a lot of anthologies and complete works, Kolody while realizes a poetic “doing”, looks for the synthesis of her production. She chooses synthetic form poems such as: distiches, tercets, quartets, ephigrams, “tankas and haicais” (Japanese poetry). The recurrent themes into the Kolody’s lyric are: the time; the loneliness; the memory; the transitority; the permanency; the double; the travel among others. The “kolodiana’s work” shows themes and images that contribute to propose (re) significations in Paraná Literature context.

THE PORTUGUESE DIASPORA IN THREE CONTEMPORANEOUS LITERATURE NOVELS: POINTS AND COUNTERPOINTS

In O retorno (2011), Dulce Maria Cardoso invite us to know the Rui’s story, a Portuguese Angolan teenager that returned from Angola, together his family. He is compelled to rebuild his life in Continental Portugal, from a precarious and limited financial situation. The scenario was the seventies and the turbulent period of return of more than a half million of Portuguese citizens, during the decolonization of former Portugal overseas territories in Africa. In this paper, we have analyzed the theme of diaspora in the contemporaneous Portuguese Literature, considering as the start point the sociocultural context contained in the book O retorno. Thus, we have established a bridge with two other novels, within a comparative perspective, in order to find similarities or dissimilarities among them, once they address the same theme: Pouca terra...Poucá terra, by Júlia Nery (1984), that brings to the center of the narrative the emigrants story from France, under the approach of a girl called  Leonor, and Livro, by José Luís Peixoto (2012), which has the main focus, among the multiplicity of themes, the emigration scenario from France, and the loving disagreements between two young lovers: Ilídio and Adelaide. The goal is to sketch a viewpoint, clarified by the cultural studies, which conduct us to understand more largely some questions which come by the Dulce Maria Cardoso novel, and also the two other books in question.  They give us the measure of the construction of the contemporaneous Portuguese novel, and reflect the idea of a nation which uses to have a condition of discomfort. This discomfort is proper to who are at the mercy of the diasporic fateful experience, since the most remote past.  

UNIVERSO POÉTICO DE HELENA KOLODY: IMIGRAÇÃO UCRANIANA NO PARANÁ E NOSTALGIA ENQUANTO RETORNO ÀS ORIGENS

Helena Kolody (1912-2004) é poeta brasileira e filha de emigrantes ucranianos, nascida em Cruz Machado, Estado do Paraná - Brasil. Os temas recorrentes na lírica de Kolody são: o tempo, a solidão, a memória, a efemeridade e permanência, o duplo, a viagem, entre outros. Com doze livros publicados, várias antologias e obras completas, Kolody realiza um fazer poético enquanto busca da síntese, projetada nas formas escolhidas e no enxugamento dos textos. Os poemas sintéticos, tais como os dísticos, tercetos, quadras, epigramas, tankas e haicais (poesia de origem japonesa), são formas poéticas escolhidas pela poeta.

Migração e Mobilidade Internacional: Diferenças no Desenvolvimento Individual pelo Acesso ao Aprendizado de uma Língua Estrangeira

Considerando os fluxos migratórios mundiais contemporâneos, objetivamos destacar o aprendizado da língua(s) estrangeira(s) do local de destino de um migrante internacional como parte importante no processo desenvolvimento individual e de participação social. A problemática gira em torno da falta de ações de ensino de línguas, especificamente voltadas a estrangeiros estabelecidos no sudoeste do Paraná - Brasil. A produção de dados, a partir de entrevistas semiestruturadas, aplicadas a grupos distintos, permitiu-nos realizar análise de cunho qualitativo-interpretativo e comparativo. As falas de emigrantes temporários (brasileiros participantes de programas de mobilidade estudantil internacional - MEI) e de imigrantes estrangeiros estabelecidos no Brasil mostram contrastes existentes entre os dois grupos e indicam a importância de ações favoráveis à acolhida de imigrantes, que chegam ao Brasil, pelo ensino de português como uma língua adicional. http://dx.doi.org/10.5935/1981-4755.20170027
