The uses of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Web environments for creation, treatment and availability of information have supported the emergence of new social-cultural patterns represented by convergences in textual, image and audio languages. This paper describes and analyzes the National Archives Experience Digital Vaults as a digital publishing web environment and as a cultural heritage. It is a complex system - synthesizer of information design options at information setting, provides new aesthetic aspects, but specially enlarges the cognition of the subjects who interact with the environment. It also enlarges the institutional spaces that guard the collective memory beyond its role of keeping the physical patrimony collected there. Digital Vaults lies as a mix of guide and interactive catalogue to be dealt in a ludic way. The publishing design of the information held on the Archives is meant to facilitate access to knowledge. The documents are organized in a dynamic and not chronological way. They are not divided in fonds or distinct categories, but in controlled interaction of documents previously indexed and linked by the software. The software creates information design and view of documental content that can be considered a new paradigm in Information Science and are part of post-custodial regime, independent from physical spaces and institutions. Information professionals must be prepared to understand and work with the paradigmatic changes described and represented by the new hybrid digital environments; hence the importance of this paper. Cyberspace interactivity between user and the content provided by the environment design provide cooperation, collaboration and sharing knowledge actions, all features of networks, transforming culture globally. © 2011 - IOS Press and the authors. This work seeks to develop an observation about the monumental historical heritage from the perspective of Information Science, and still draw a possible connection between the context of the monumental heritage and documents, focus on the archival (manuscripts), in the intention of justifying the inclusion of the latter together the first, among the units legally and socially understood as forms of representation of history, collective memory and identity. For this, we support in the literature in the fields of anthropology, history and architecture, to contextualize the monuments, and Information Science and Archival Science to understood documents and information, and set up a projection.

Este artigo propõe-se a refletir como as trajetórias pessoal e profissional de Helena Antipoff (1892-1974), aliadas às suas convicções de que a intervenção e transformação do real decorrem do conhecimento acumulado, da experiência e do desejo de ampliar o bem comum são elementos que vão construindo acervos pessoais, a partir dessa triangulação. Esta construção se funda mais nas práticas e ações do que na intenção de elaborar um acervo, mas termina por compor a construção de uma memória, articulada à formação do “Centro de Documentação e Pesquisa Helena Antipoff” – Ibirité-MG. Nascida na Rússia e tendo vivido no Brasil no período de 1929-1974, a educadora destacou-se por ações socialmente relevantes fundadas na organização do estudo e da pesquisa nos campos da psicologia, da educação e da educação rural, sendo estas duas últimas objetos de nossa pesquisa documental e análises.

This paper aims to understand the nature of personal archives and their main features based on the collector entity IEB-USP (Instituto de Estudos Brasileiros da Universidade de São Paulo). Based on this entity and on archival theory, we discuss here, differences and similarities between the organic and private archives realizing the intrinsic value established on personal archival and how its institutionalization is denominated, once it directly pervades the attribution of value that is assigned and settled, relating to the work and life of a political or artistic personality, and also related to the collective memory and legacy left for this historically, aesthetic and socially important figures. We highlight, here, the approximation of Archival Science and Information Science and Library through the principles and organization methodologies applied to personal archives.

One of the roles allocated to the elderly is to be the collective memory of their social group, transmitting their cultural heritage. In our work with seniors, entitled "Workshop of Psychology", carried in the University for the Elderly (UNESP - Assis), we privilege a space in which these memories gain materiality and senses through polysemic narrative. In the workshops with a group of 30 seniors, we record the stories told that the word can be incorporated in the group and the university. For the elderly, the rescue of the past through the narrative experience provides a space for dialogue from their memories and reinterpretation of the past and present. To a psychologist, is the opportunity for a differentiated practice that seeks to remember to remember, but this is a political act of confrontation with the present, questioning the social role of older people today.

The objective of this work is to analyze the novel Maquis, of the Spanish novelist Alfons Cervera, detaching the present hibridism of sorts in the work: historical novel, memories, testimonial story, besides the ethical dimension present in the collective memory claims of the maquis.

This paper discusses issues related to the relationship of the Associação Atlética Acadêmica Unesp Bauru with stakeholders, its acquired image and the construction of this image throughout its history. Through a survey of former members, deepening interviews, image search analysis with campus students in 2011 and redemption of the entity's files entity is proposed a public relations plan aimed at improving the position of Atlética strategically with the new demands of its stakeholders. Thus the work aims to analyze the image of the members based on their institutional memory and students regarding the entity and thus propose a plan that is as faithful as possible to the dualistic views of these two public, improving the processes and actions of the Association

Este artigo aborda a compreensão da avaliação no interior da implantação do Regime de Progressão Continuada no Estado de São Paulo. Ao penetrar nos intrincados caminhos da realidade escolar, por meio da pesquisa qualitativa, acompanharam-se sistematicamente durante um ano escolar 4 turmas de alunos (uma de cada ano do ciclo I, ainda do Ensino Fundamental de 8 anos), nos momentos coletivos da escola: horário de trabalho pedagógico coletivo, reuniões de pais e mestres, conselhos de classe/série, eventos; e, ainda, realizaram-se entrevistas com 7 profissionais envolvidos com as turmas (5 professores, coordenadora pedagógica e diretora escolar) e com 124 alunos. Observou-se que a avaliação informal ganha forte expressão nessa nova forma de organização escolar, revelando, também, novas formas de manutenção da seletividade e da exclusão escolar. Por meio da análise das práticas avaliativas e das contribuições dos diversos atores da escola, evidencia-se a presença da seletividade escolar, mas com configuração diferenciada: a exclusão branda e/ou a eliminação adiada.
