A mediação da informação no âmbito da arquivística

O texto analisa a Arquivologia e sua relação com a mediação da informação. Defende que a base teórica da Arquivologia proporciona condições fundamentais para que, no âmbito da prática, se desenvolvam operações metodológicas que resultem no tratamento adequado dos documentos. Dessa forma, ressaltando a práxis arquivística, compreende-se a utilização de instrumentos e técnicas como uma mediação de sistemas, na qual as etapas da metodologia arquivística atendem ao objetivo primordial de organização de massas documentais, possibilitando seu tratamento, com o propósito de recuperar e disponibilizar as informações dos respectivos conjuntos documentais. A atuação técnica de profissionais da informação, especificamente do arquivista, nesse contexto, já configura uma mediação, mas uma mediação, sobretudo, que lida com a protoinformação. Dessa forma, argumenta-se que é necessário entender como essa protoinformação torna-se informação. Afirma-se que, nesse sentido, a mediação da informação apresenta-se como objeto que vislumbra tal compreensão, partindo, para tanto, do parâmetro da apropriação da informação dos usuários-pesquisadores do arquivo e sua produção e/ou alteração do conhecimento resultante da relação com esse ambiente, para garantir, de fato, uma mediação da informação arquivística. Advoga que essa perspectiva inovadora da mediação da informação nos arquivos, caracteriza uma abordagem que carece de maiores reflexões na área.

Modelos de tomada de decisão e sua relação com a informação orgânica

O processo decisório compreende a aplicação de diferentes modelos de tomada de decisão, cada um deles pertinente a uma determinada situação. Entre eles, destacamos como principais os modelos racional, processual, anárquico e político. Para este trabalho, utilizamos os conceitos de Choo (2003), por se tratar de uma das principais obras a respeito do tema existente na literatura e, assim, analisamos cada um dos modelos propostos pelo autor. A partir da análise dos modelos, foi possível estabelecer relações entre eles e maneira pela qual a informação orgânica - produzida internamente à organização, participa do processo decisório, mais especificamente no âmbito de cada modelo. Por último, a partir das inferências realizadas, propomos um novo modelo de tomada de decisão, cuja base de sustentação é a informação orgânica.

Informação orgânica como insumo estratégico para a tomada de decisão em ambientes competitivos: estudo nas empresas do setor varejista situadas na cidade de Marília/SP

The focus of this research is centered on organic information production, sharingand use on the enterprise decision making process. The information on the present economy becomes value source for organizations. The organic information is produced on the organization s internal environment been a product of the activities made by execution its functions. Knowing the elements that involve this process gives a great help to managers once the decision making process is permeated by conflicts and different perceptions. Therefore, the organic information can reduce these conflicts on organizational contexts, because it reduces the uncertainness, propitiates more security and more trustworthiness to the decision making process, besides it gives dynamism to people s time involved on the process. The investigated universe was composed by the companies affiliated to Construnova Net, from construction material segment, located at Marilia Region s cities, Sao Paulo State, because it is an important segment which influences the local and regional economy. The methodological proceedings used are based on the qualitative approach which method is related to descriptive and exploratory research. As data collecting instruments were elaborated a structured questionnaire with closed questions and an interview s syllabus which contents are related to the research s aims. As analysis proceedings for the collected data and also to consider the qualitative approach it was chosen the Contents Analysis method from Bardin and more specifically the Categorical Analysis . Consequently, we conclude that it is deficient in production of organic information, or to produce documents that prove and control the activities that are developed within the organization is not satisfactory. Mediação da informação orgânica sob a perspectiva do processo decisório empresarial: análise do papel do arquivista

This paper addresses the issue of mediation in the process of information decision-making, more specifically, organic information, seeking to deepen its determinants in an attempt to understand the mechanisms on which supports. It also examines the role of the archivist as an information professional in this process. Conceptually, it is understood that the information Organic is produced within the organization as a result of the implementation of activities and tasks undertaken. The national literature that addresses this issue is poor and therefore needs further examination. Weaving relations organic information and mediation in the context of decision making is rare in literature. Thus, this study seeks to contribute to discussions in regarding this matter and also adds to this the importance of standing up issues that may contribute to the development of studies Information Science.

A mediação da informação nos arquivos permanentes: serviços de referência arquivística no ambiente digital

Information Science has for its object of study the general properties of information and analysis of their construction, communication and use processes. Organic information, one of the information types, is the one recorded in the archives, which can be split into two distinct groups based on users: current and permanent, used by administrators, historians/citizens, respectively. After defining the information behavior of each group, the articles directs the discussion to the mediation of information in the permanent archives. The interaction between user and information professionals through references services aiming the user needs is presented. In addition, the standards of archival description and the research instruments as tools to reference service are discussed. Moreover, it argues the importance of information technologies and the new possibilities for the promotion of organic information in permanent archives, especially concerning the information architecture of websites and the conversion of the DTD standards of archival descriptions.

A produção institucional na perspectiva arquivística: Lei de Acesso à Informação e aproximações

This study regards the implementation of the Law of Access to Information, from an archivistic perspective of the institutional production of recorded projects in the period 1992- 2012 at the Letters and Arts Center (LAC) of the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) and stored on digital medium in its database. It concludes that the effects of the law of access to information, as related to the institutional production by UFSM, will bring benefits to all society.
