This article aims to analyze literacy teachers’ conception of language from the classroom scenes that demonstrate the teaching of the act of reading. For the realization of the objective was carried out research in education like ethnography with two teachers in the 2nd year of elementary school a school of the Municipal located in the city of Sao Luis in Maranhão State, whose main instrument for data generation was participant observation. Also, I was guided by microgenetic analysis in order to focus our gaze to the particular aspect of the situation with attention to the “clues” to extract meaningful data. Authors such as Mikhail Bakhtin (1995, 2003) and scholars in the fi eld of reading, Josette Jolibert (1994), Elie Bajard (2007), among others, were considered core to grasp the meaning assigned by the subjects to teaching the act of reading. The fi ndings reveal that the design language of the teacher infl uences the direction of your practice, determining how to teach reading.

O ensino médio e a universidade fazem parte do sistema educacional brasileiro, estando intimamente interligados. Portanto, um desenvolvimento mútuo entre essas instâncias deve ser visto como necessário para a melhoria do nível do ensino no país. Neste sentido, busca-se averiguar se o curso de Licenciatura em Física da UNESP, campus de Presidente Prudente, é condizente com as necessidades atuais de formação de professores, de forma a beneficiar o ensino de física no ensino médio. Esta investigação visa, unicamente, levantar dados que permitem uma melhoria do curso em si, tendo por base as percepções dos alunos que o frequenta. Para tanto, fora organizado com base em pesquisa qualitativa, e para a coleta de dados fez-se uso de um questionário, que contou com questões abertas. Tal questionário fora aplicado ao contingente discente dos quatro anos da graduação do curso de física. A pesquisa contou com uma amostra de 65 alunos e os dados obtidos em cada questão foram organizados, desmembrados, agrupados por semelhanças e organizados em gráficos. Após as analises dos dados, percebe-se, pela visão dos alunos, que estes se preocupam e têm compromisso com a educação, mostrando-se, também, dispostos a colaborar com a melhoria do ensino de física quanto ao próprio curso que frequentam

The present work intends to study some fluid dynamic and heat transfer aspects of a solar chimney, aiming at a preliminary design of a facility. Some definitions and concepts of this system are presented. The simulation was performed based on a theoretical model validated with measurements of a prototype in Manzanares, Spain. Using the same theoretical model and some considerations, dimensions on a small scale are applied, making the model more interesting from its constructive aspect. The results show the behavior of the air velocity inside the chimney and illustrate some values of two preselected turbines. This technology looks promising in Brazilian territory due to high levels of solar radiation

With the growing market for advertising geared towards the infant public, inserting since small children in the capitalist world with his powers of persuasion, raises concerns in knowing what are the subjective messages that advertisements are transmitting to them. The television since its appearance has the power to normalize and regulate society imposing the mode of life and how they should act, think and dress. Starting this strand to analyze the influence of television on society, this work explores the current advertisements for children to check whether messages meets reality, or have an ideological conception of the world, focusing, besides consumerism, the relationship about the issue of gender of being male and being female

This research will try to understand how the concept of gender works at school, since working and discussing the body and sexuality is not a matter to be treated only within the family environment, school is a place for formal and appropriate new knowledge about sexuality, gender and body, in order to be part of the child framework according to adequate theory. At school, which is a place of different social values and especially to build readings world is surrounded by theoretical frameworks appropriate to think of the body not only as biological, but as one that can vary, feel desires and pleasures, changes and growth. This research aims to understand the notes of literature regarding to teaching children about respect for others, how children notice parts of your body, the space they are in, how they build their own and other perceptions, supported by their teachers, how they express themselves and show social rules and behaviors, focusing on building an egalitarian and respectful society regarding to relations between men and women which begin in childhood and is part of sexuality taught at school by teachers. The current competitiveness of the market has generated the need to minimize the cost of production companies in any field of activity, aimed at reducing the cost of production, the cost of purchasing and manufacturing processes interruption of manufacturing processes for possible maintenance. In this sense, companies are seeking methods to improve and streamline their production line. In ceramics industries, cooking the pieces is the portion of the production process that influences the total costs. The oven construction and maintenance represent a large portion embedded in the cost of the final ceramic product. The proposal for a type of oven for baking the parts that takes into account a better burning process, knowledge of the causes of disease and cost analysis of purchasing both of the constituent materials and labor for its construction, can be significant importance to the composition of final product costs or time analysis of ROI. It is proposed a streamlined design of an oven that takes into account the positive characteristics of the furnaces already built and that the experience has endorsed, and also others that are added at the end, lead to a reduction in production cost, the cost income and the number of pathologies arising from wear of the furnace along the lifespan. Therefore, according to the experiences gained over the years in the construction of furnaces and experience of manufacturing of ceramic, it is proposed a project that has an oven improvement over those now being built and that include, among other topics, economy in fuel burning, streamlining the building process

Poucos são os professores que tiveram a oportunidade de vivenciar em sua formação atividades envolvendo a construção de mapas conceituais. Essa ferramenta, elaborada e difundida por Joseph Novak na década de 70, é de fundamental importância para a organização de elementos necessários à aprendizagem, pois possibilita ao aluno articular ideias e associar novas informações a conhecimentos estudados anteriormente permitindo ao professor utilizá-lo também como um importante instrumento na avaliação da aprendizagem. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo investigar a concepção dos professores do Ensino Fundamental sobre a utilização dos mapas conceituais como forma de organizar, avaliar e facilitar a aprendizagem dos alunos, bem como verificar quantos os utilizam em sua prática pedagógica. Para a realização do estudo, foram feitas pesquisa bibliográfica, buscando fundamentação teórico-metodológica e pesquisa de campo descritiva com aplicação de questionário aos professores de seis escolas municipais dos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental no município de Bauru, com perguntas fechadas de múltipla escolha, para levantar informações acerca do conhecimento dos professores sobre o assunto. Após o questionário, foi realizado o acompanhamento das aulas de um dos participantes para observar, descrever, analisar e discutir a metodologia adotada na realização do seu trabalho. Para a análise e a interpretação dos dados coletados, foi empregada abordagem qualiquantitativa e extraíram-se inferências dos resultados. Os resultados indicam que ainda é incipiente a aplicabilidade dos mapas conceituais nos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental. Sugerimos que este tema seja abordado em cursos de Formação continuada dos docentes

The mobile application proposed in this undergraduate project, classified as a Location-Based Service and named Traveller, was developed to support users of mobile phones equipped with GPS in unknown locations by providing information about weather, location of users and stores in urban areas. The mobile devices whose this project is intended are those equipped with Android. The programming language Java was selected and the Eclipse development environment was used along with the toolkit for developing Android (ADT - Android Development Tools)

A história da Educação Física Escolar (EFE) apresenta diversas questões que são interessantes de serem estudadas. Para compreensão do quadro atual dessa disciplina na escola é relevante analisar a sua história, pois esse quadro é conseqüência dos fatos passados. Na tentativa de atender o objetivo do trabalho o recorte feito foi a partir dos pontos relacionados com professor de Educação Física. Deste modo parte-se da formação inicial desse profissional, considerando que no Brasil são oferecidos dois tipos de formação, as ocorridas no modelo tradicional-esportivista e as que apresentam um currículo com caráter técnico científico. Acredita-se a formação inicial contribuí na constituição da concepção pedagógica do profissional em formação, porém não se pode desprezar as suas experiências anteriores essa formação e nem as experiências vividas no mercado de trabalho. Contudo o objetivo do trabalho é: a) identificar a concepção pedagógica de um professor de Educação Física Escolar e b) identificar quais foram os fatores determinantes para se chegar a essa concepção. Para realização da pesquisa utilizou-se a metodologia qualitativa do gênero história de vida. Essa metodologia permite a entrada no campo subjetivo das pessoas, uma vez que ela trabalha com as experiências dessas, nesse caso não há tanto um roteiro factual, porque as narrativas se fazem por meio de impressões, sentimentos e sonhos, o colaborador é objeto central do estudo, que nesse caso será um professor. A seleção do sujeito se fez com a utilização do critério do professor colaborador ser formado em uma Instituição de Ensino Superior Pública e estar atuando na rede de ensino, mas as características pessoais do professor que são bastante peculiares também... This project was grounded in public policy for inclusive education in the city of Bauru / Brazil. Its objective was to examine the struture of these public policies aimed at inclusive education, which are in place and their effectiveness from the viewpoint of specialist teachers in municipal schools in Bauru/ Brazil. Subjects were 20 teachers of special education specialists who work with students from kindergarten and elementary school in the city of Bauru. To collect data were questionnaires and interviews. The theoretical studies carried out showed that the legislation today was the result of many years of changes in structure and design on the figure of people with disabilities and their integration into society. As a result it was possible to draw a profile of specialist teachers, their training, and that has knowledge about the specific legislation. As the profile of the specialist teacher noticed that they have good training, but this should be a continuous process, during his performance.Public policy for Special Education but there are geared towards a macro-structure, which makes them often decontextualized from everyday classroom, and often not enforced because of lack of policies in other areas of basic needs that are constitutional law as well as education

Com o ritmo acelerado que a vida moderna exige, é cada vez mais evidente a necessidade do ser humano em buscar novas experiências para que os façam sentir emoções e sensações inéditas, não existentes no dia a dia. Com isso a busca por esportes de risco vem sendo cada vez maior, visto que muitos destes esportes satisfazem os desejos por novas experiências. Acredita-se que haja inúmeros fatores atrativos que levam os indivíduos a aderirem a essas praticas. No presente estudo foi verificado que fatores psicológicos estão fortemente presentes, o medo e a ansiedade mostram-se fatores atrativos, assim como o desejo de conhecer lugares novos, o que aponta para uma ligação direta com o turismo. A sensação de bem estar, satisfação, alegria e orgulho foi afirmada por maioria dos sujeitos, o que acaba levando os indivíduos a procurarem diversos esportes de risco, favorecendo a aderência a essas modalidades e a permanência nas mesmas.

Camping alloys the implementation of a broad variety of activities that involves many aspects of the corporal culture of movement. There is much more than fun in games and plays and that’s what we seek to include in the children’s daily routine. The Physical Education professional has as one of its duties to teach these elements, such as the knowledge related to the citizenship formation to its students. Therefore, the participation in camping can contribute to this formation, since the students have the chance to realize the amplitude of Physical Education and change their view on it, even at school. The aim of this research is to investigate after the camping experience, if the students change their conception on the Physical Education role at school. This study has used qualitative methodology consisting on interviews done prior and post the students camping experience at the school . Ten students of both gender, aged between 13 and 15 years old, were interviewed. It was used a script with semi-structured questions. As the main result it has found an unanimity among the students towards the importance of Physical Education: the responsibility for the health and it’s also arisen discussions on cooperation and respect. Although they recognize that the teacher does not discuss these values and attitudes; two students believe that to have changed their view towards school Physical Education after experiencing the activities proposed in the camping. Despite most of the students haven’t changed their concept on school Physical Education, they had the opportunity to see new activities and to think more carefully about the importance of Physical Education classes at school, an opportunity on building a more critical view on the discipline.

In engineering projects, it’s fundamental to determine the active loads in components in order to guarantee acceptable values of safety and reliability according to project specifications. On the other hand, force measurement methods might be very complex and impracticable in some cases and, so that, load cells with eletric resistance strain gages can be applied as a simple and accurate option to measure the required load. The main purpose of this paper is to present the development of a load cell that measures uniaxial forces using electric resistance strain gages without being influenced by the location of the loading in a cantilever beam. For that, it was taken as basis a secondary purpose which is to present a general study of basic and wide concepts about transducers, load cells and extensometers primarily. Information such as: loading and measurements types, characteristics of the presented devices as well as factors that influence its functioning, the most common kinds of Wheatstone bridge links, the main points of a load cell project, cements used to fix extensometers and, finally, the project itself with the tests of the built transducer are presented. By the end of this paper, all the results are shown and analyzed, concluding about the designed load cell and the work itself
