Projeto arquitetônico para nova biblioteca pública na cidade de São José dos Campos

São José dos Campos, cidade do interior paulista, possui aproximadamente 62% de sua área territorial definida por legislação como Área de Proteção Ambiental – APA. Um fragmento desse total é formado pelo Banhado (ampla área alagada com características naturais preservadas avistada de toda a região central) e pelo Parque Burle Marx ou, como é conhecido pela população, o Parque da Cidade. Esse Parque é estruturado por jardins de Roberto Burle Marx e construções assinadas pelo arquiteto modernista Rino Levi (a residência de Olivo Gomes, a usina de leite e o galpão gaivotas - utilizado para grandes feiras e eventos). Apesar da riqueza desse conjunto o parque não é utilizado pela população de forma efetiva. A proposta deste trabalho nasceu da análise feita acima e do fato que existe ampla área livre pronta a receber novos equipamentos públicos de forma a estimular a população a utilizar o parque de forma mais assídua. Um dos equipamentos propostos é uma nova biblioteca, já que a biblioteca da cidade carece de ampliação

Proposta de uma automação residencial para um anteprojeto de uma instalação eletrica

The human social organization has undergone major changes in recent years. The technological and digital revolutions accelerated the process of dissemination and evolution of the knowledge in all sciences, from social studies to nanotechnology. This process led to many advances that have enabled the emergence of new markets. Among these new markets, residential automation shows to be a market of great potential, seeking to meet the needs of residents, in order to make their daily practice and as fast as the rhythm of present life requests. To perform this task the residence stops being a passive place and becomes an active and controllable system, where actions may occur without the need for direct human interaction. The aim of this work is designing the electrical installation of a residence seeking better use of energy and show the technology diversity involving intelligent houses

Técnicas de energia elétrica sustentável aplicadas em edificações

One of the majors concerns in society today is to decrease the environmental impact caused by human activities and natural resource exploration. From this need to be more careful with the environment arose, in the field of civil construction, the term sustainable building. Projects that use natural resources rationally, without ceasing to bring comfort and functionality for customers, are becoming more a reality. This paper presents the share of electric energy in a sustainable building, with the analysis of the available renewable energies used in a project, presentation of new constructive techniques and technologies that are constantly emerging to achieve greater energy efficiency, with an appropriate use of energy received, also a decrease of the energy consumed by some devices present in a residence or business

Sistema de comunicação bluetooth voltada para automação residencial

Bluetooth technology found in smartphones and tablets can add an interesting feature focused on home automation. Through the implementation of a wireless network communication between a mobile device and receiver modules located in different points, or even on a single centralized point in residence, you can manage many household items with just a few taps on smartphones. With such applicability, allow the user greater integration with your home, comfort, safety and economy. In this context, this work presents a system design of low cost Bluetooth communication between a smartphone and a receiver module with microcontroller interface development control from the Android platform

Efeitos causados por chuvas intensas nas variáveis limnológicas e assembléias zooplanctônicas dos reservatórios de Chavantes e Salto Grande (Rio Paranapanema SP/PR)

Este trabalho teve como objetivo principal avaliar a influência de um período de chuvas intensas sobre as assembléias zooplanctônicas e variáveis limnológicas dos reservatórios de Chavantes e Salto Grande. Em função das precipitações elevadas, o tempo de residência da água durante o período de verão 2009/2010 (período imediatamente anterior às coletas) foi o mais baixo da década (1999-2010), tanto para Chavantes como para Salto Grande. As variáveis analisadas foram: transparência, temperatura, oxigênio dissolvido, pH, condutividade elétrica, turbidez, material em suspensão, clorofila a e nutrientes (nitrogênio total, fósforo total e silicato dissolvido). A turbidez foi a variável que mais se alterou, apresentando um aumento notável com o incremento das chuvas. A transparência e o material em suspensão também apresentaram grande alteração, sendo que a primeira variável diminuiu com a maior quantidade de chuvas e a segunda aumentou. Os valores de fósforo total e silicato dissolvido diminuíram com o aumento das chuvas, sendo que para o silicato a variação foi mais expressiva e para o fósforo o decréscimo foi mais acentuado em Chavantes do que em Salto Grande. Para as outras variáveis limnológicas, bem como para o zooplâncton, os dois reservatórios apresentaram comportamentos diferentes quanto às alterações pluviométricas. A temperatura variou mais em Chavantes. Condutividade elétrica e pH apresentaram relação com a temperatura e o oxigênio dissolvido não teve muita alteração com as mudanças pluviométricas. Os atributos analisados para o zooplâncton foram riqueza, composição, abundância (total, por táxon e das fases de desenvolvimento) e diversidade. Um estudo de novos paradigmas na realização de projetos de instalação elétrica residencial (automação)

Through awareness of new trends of consumption of the population with regard to housing, comfort, entertainment, security and sustainability, it was crafted a work that set out to study and develop the concept of home automation and how it will revolutionize the electrical installation projects and energy savings. A pre-wiring project, taking into account, basically, the installed load, is presented as a basis for comparison. The protocols for communication between intelligent devices in an automation environment, used in the work, are the X-10, LonWorks and UPnP. The home network is studied and divided into subsystems, for a better understanding, which are the lighting, audio, video and multimedia system, security, air conditioning and central vacuum system, and the idea of integrated design and system integrator is introduced, showing the change necessity in the design philosophy of electrical installations. The main means of energy savings in an automated home, such as dimerization, master off and smart meters are presented and, finally, it was concluded that there is a need to structure electrical installation projects more comprehensive with regard to home automation, in order to become more efficient and useful to users

The Integrated Project developed here proposes the application of sustainable technologies to reduce costs and rational use of water and electricity in housing. The reduced consumption of resources and expenditures intended to ensure that families have financial ability to maintain their homes thus avoiding default and legal problems. The object of study that enabled the development of this work is the Housing Interlagos in São José dos Campos. Was analyzed the type of residence of the housing, the demographic characteristics of the region and the socioeconomic conditions of the borrowers, and from these data, was proposed solutions for sustainable housing

Aplicação do regulamento técnico da qualidade do nível de eficiência energética em edificações residenciais

The research shows that increasing the consumption of energy by households is growing rapidly and without adequate planning, due to population growth and therefore an increase in energy consumption. With the current concerns of sustainability and energy efficiency by industry, there is the need to prove to population that there are many ways to incorporate sustainable practices to their daily lives, starting from by their own residence. The quality certification of the energy efficiency level in residential buildings, shows how one can influence and improve housing issues on sustainable actions as rooted in our country

Indicadores Antropométricos do Estado Nutricional de Idosas Praticantes e Não Praticantes de Exercício Fisíco na Zona Norte de São José do Rio Preto-SP

Although the regular practice of physical exercise for the maintenance of the nutritional state and quality of life is important, it is not a common habit among the elderly, especially those of the lower income social bracket. The objective was to characterize and compare according to social-economic conditions and anthropometric indexes of the nutritional state of the elderly who regularly practice and those who do not practice exercises, offered at no cost, in the Northern zone of São José do Rio Preto-SP. In this study, 110 elderly women participated, of which 60 (group P) exercised regularly and 50 did not (group NP). Group P participated in a special gym program, free of charge, for at least 2 years, 2 to 3 times a week, one hour a day. Group NP was recruited from the same location as Group P. The comparison between the groups of elderly women was proportionately distributed according to marital status, level of education, means of locomotion, results of body mass index (IMC), waist to hip ratio (RCQ) and calf circumference, using the chi-square test. Comparisons were also made of average age, per capita family income, individual income, IMC, arm and triceps skin fold measured by t-Test. Differences were not found in all the comparisons made. The variables that stood out were the IMC (overweight) and RCQ (risk of chronic diseases) results, which were above what was expected, and the high frequency of walking and riding buses for both groups of elderly women (about 60%). We came to the conclusion that the low-intensity exercise program evaluated made no difference in the nutritional profile of the elderly who also used walking as a means of getting around.

Due to new technologies in civil engineering and the competition of the market, the demand for computer programs for the elaboration of structural projects of reinforced concrete is raising in a quick and efficient manner. This paper presents a study based on Eberick, a structural calculation software, and this software was applied to a low cost residence project. By performing structural calculation manually, it is possible to compare and analyze the criteria that Eberick uses for the design and detailing of structural elements like columns, beams and slabs. As the software functionality becomes clear, the engineer will use it careful and safely, exploring all of its resources and advantages

This article aims to narrate and analyze possibilities on aspects of the work developed by the group that composes the Mental Health and Public Health Improvement, using the Wheel Method, created by Gastão W. Campos, in different and diverse articulations and work organization spaces in psychosocial care field, such as Mental Health Forum, work groups related to Regional Collegiate Management (CGRs), with municipal teams to organize mental health network and with newcomer residents to a therapeutic residence It is from these different experiences that it is intended to reflect, discuss and promote a dialogue on the possibilities of the Wheel Method.
