The purpose of this paper is to present the road taken by the Teletandem Brasil Project (Telles, 2006) and describe the modifications that have occurred in relation to the implementation of teletandem activities, which implies changes from a non-integrated modality to an integrated one (Brammerts, 1996). In order to do so, a characterization of the initial context assumed by the project is presented non-integrated institutional teletandem - in contrast with the new environment fostered by a partnership between UNESP (Universidade Estadual Paulista) and UGA (University of Georgia). This new partnership has allowed the inclusion of teletandem into the foreign language syllabus, characterizing the institutional integrated teletandem. We also show the activities derived from this new modality.

This article chiefly aims at discussing issues concerning reflective teacher education for and in virtual environments for language learning. Given the need for research on reflective practice in new virtual environments, we present the experience of pedagogical supervision through mediation in the virtual context for collaborative learning in teletandem. Some research results in this context, such as in Salomo (2008), Kfouri-Kaneoya (2008), Cndido (2010) and Silva (2010), show how favorable and conducive to the development of reflective pre-service teacher education it seems to be, as it emphasizes the co-construction of knowledge in a dynamic relationship between theory and practice.

No presente trabalho analiso uma experincia piloto de implementao de um projeto de parceria de teletandem portugus e espaol, entre a UNESP campus de Assis/So Paulo/Brasil e a UTU Salto Uruguay. Nesse contexto, saliento a trajetria de uma professora uruguaia e sua insero na utilizao das TICs no processo de ensino-aprendizagem de LE.

Apresentamos um projeto que objetiva investigar concepes e prticas de alunos de um curso de Pedagogia em relao natureza das cincias e ao ensino de cincias nos anos iniciais, constituindo subsdios para construo de uma proposta formativa na licenciatura. So utilizados questionrios semi-estruturados e anlise das produes de estgio, procurando identificar como tais concepes refletem nas propostas educativas elaboradas pelos licenciandos. A partir da anlise, ser elaborada, implementada e avaliada uma proposta formativa na disciplina Contedos, Metodologias e Prticas em Ensino de Cincias, contribuindo para clarificao das concepes alternativas e reflexo crtica sobre a natureza do conhecimento cientfico e sobre ensinar cincias nos anos iniciais da escolarizao.

Este artigo descreve um conjunto de atividades educativas desenvolvidas no mbito do projeto Lab InCognITA Laboratrio de Inovao em Cognio, Informao, Tecnologia e Aprendizagem, que objetiva promover o desenvolvimento de um conjunto de atividades e projetos com escolas pblicas de nvel mdio, vinculadas Diretoria de Ensino de Guaratinguet, buscando despertar o interesse dos alunos para as reas tecnolgicas e engenharias. Destaca-se a importncia dos recursos didticos, em especial os baseados em experimentao, para promover uma melhoria no interesse dos estudantes pelas cincias exatas. A operacionalizao do projeto descrita por meio da apresentao das atividades previstas para o seu desenvolvimento, e de como estas so realizadas durante eventos denominados Visita UNESP, em que alunos das escolas vm at o Campus da UNESP Guaratinguet. Os resultados parciais obtidos sugerem que as atividades desenvolvidas durante as visitas tm contribudo para despertar o interesse dos estudantes para as reas de Exatas e Engenharias.

The use of computers in childhood education makes it possible for them to acquire knowledge in a fun way through games. This paper describes the experience of implementing the course Computers for Children, which is part of a University Extension Program at the School of Dentistry at UNESP - Araraquara. This course is offered to children aged 5-7 years old and it aims, not only, to offer children, via computer, a direct contact with new teaching technologies, but also, to help them develop both their motor and logical thinking abilities through educational games. The children that participated in this course are from the Childrens Center Casinha de Abelha at the UNESP -Araraquara and also from the Municipal Recreation and Educational Centers also in Araraquara, SP, Brazil. The software resources used in this course to teach computer skills are the educational games Coelho Sabido Maternal, A Estrela Cintilante and Festa dos Dentinhos. The childrens learning and the level of difficulty in using the computer as a tool were evaluated. It was possible to conclude that the course has been contributing to the digital inclusion of children aged 5-7 years old, in addition to training their visual and audio perception, their motor coordination and memorization, hence developing skills that are essential to the childrens literacy process.

Education is an essential part of the overall development of a human being. There are opportunities of knowledge production and teaching and learning in many environments, so education is not limited to the school environment. A possible field of teacher's performance takes place in the context of educational social projects, therefore, the importance of knowing and evaluating this environment. Rise to concern about how important and what the reflection of the social projects in the lives of children who often find themselves in a social risk to the margins of society and the research is justified by considering the community education as an opportunity to change lives and society itself. Thus, a qualitative study of descriptive type in a social project based on the Waldorf was developed, aiming to know how the project was carried out and verify the importance of it in a poor neighborhood of the city of Botucatu-SP

This study aimed to analyze the limits and possibilities of a didactic sequence, addressing the concept of proportionality in the learning of students in 5th year of elementary school. From the results of the Diagnostic Assessment Initial applied to students in a class of 5th grade of elementary school, we selected eight (8) students who participated in the constituent activities of that instructional sequence. For the development of this sequence were used theoretical elements of Genetic Epistemology (Piaget, 1990), the theory of fields of Conceptual Vergnaud (1996) and the definition of instructional sequence proposed by Zabala (1998). Finally, after 20 days of application of these activities, we applied the Diagnostic Assessment Final aimed at investigating which concepts related to proportionality were built by the participating students. By analyzing the collected data, it can be concluded the following about the possibilities of teaching sequence: 1) students who, in Diagnostica Home Assessment used the multiplication algorithm, but also did not indicate the comparison between quantities are now performing; 2) students who, in the Diagnostic Assessment Initial, used the addition algorithm, now gradually are using the multiplication algorithm; 3)students who, in the Diagnostic Assessment Initial, could not solve problems involving the idea of proportionality, are now resolving, however, still use, in large part, the addition operation as a strategy for this proportional thinking. Now, in relation to the limits of the sequence noted: 1)time sufficient to propose a higher number of problem conditions to be carried by students who may have been a trigger of construction have not through the proportional multiplication;2)the distant proposition situations of assimilation schemes (interpretation) of the students, which may have caused certain imbalance in them, preventing them from thinking about the problem situation;3)the rapid passage of...

In recent years, the concept of art education has been changing substantially the artistic and cultural education in the Brazilian educational system, particularly in relation to the formation of a critical awareness and practice of citizenship. In this process, the Community Public Relations and Public Communication excel in fostering alliances between government and community. Based on literature review and authors debates, such as Geertz, Santos, White, Freire, Araujo, Barbosa, Kunsch e Peruzzo. Besides the analysis of important materials, official documents and Brazilian projects involving art, culture and education, such as Research-Action Report 2013, the National Plan for Culture, the National Education Plan and the Municipal Act 6119; this paper seeks to explicit this affirmation, assuming the social transformation aiming a full citizenship, as a motivational factor. In this paper we also present a plan that includes a project in art education for the Stable Dance Company and the public elementary schools in Bauru SP
