A formação continuada de professores (as) no Brasil e em Portugal: reflexões acerca da educação sexual nas instituições escolares

Este texto tem por objetivo refletir acerca da formação inicial e continuada de professores (as) em sexualidade, educação sexual e relações de gêneros no Brasil e em Portugal. Pontua a importância de maiores investimentos no sentido de incluir estas temáticas nos currículos oficiais de cursos que formação inicial de professores (as), evitando-se assim, formar professores (as) mal preparados (as), cheios (as) de tabus e de equívocos que acabam claramente sendo repassados através dos currículos ocultos, contribuindo para aumentar o desrespeito e a violência na comunidade. Reflete ainda sobre a importância de investimentos dos governos dos dois países em ações de formação continuadas, como forma de minimizar a lacuna deixa na formação inicial. Conclui ser este, em curto prazo, o caminho possível e viável de dar subsídios teóricos e práticos aos professores (as), para que a legislação vigente em Portugal e os parâmetros curriculares propostos no Brasil sejam cumpridos de forma eficaz e com possibilidade de responder às necessidades emergentes e urgentes destes dois países.

Educação comunitária para a participação na gestão democrática de orgainzação não governamental/Ong

This study examined an example of community education of citizens that aimed to encourage their participation in democratic management of a non-governmental organization (NGO). The research problems were based on the NGO perspective and the ideas of community education and democratic management that guides the education of citizens to participate in the management of this organization. This issue has been studied under the perspective of educators and managers of NGO who performed the work focused on this study. We opted for a qualitative approach with a review of academic literature, questionnaires and individual and group interviews. The results indicated that the perspective of NGO adopted is used in Brazil. These organizations have low politicization and minimize conflicts between social groups. This approach seemed to contradict the prospect of democratic management that encouraged the struggle for rights and engagement in the management of the NGO and public spaces. The contradictions between the approaches of NFO and democratic management probably influenced the adoption of two conceptions of community education. One is dedicated to promoting self-help community to solve their social and economic problems and other inspired by Paulo Freire, which encourages popular mobilization for the questioning of capitalist social organization.

Escola, seu fim e o ressurgimento da educação: o paradoxo da subjetividade no saber atual

O sistema educativo passa por um processo da institucionalização do saber. Qualquer forma de aprendizado que não seja subjetivado pelo “saber-escola” é automaticamente desacreditada, tudo isso em virtude da sacralização da escola e de sua demanda. Os colégios promovem uma educação doutrinária e alienante do projeto de vida da comunidade a que se destina, por isso há que enfatizar que estes possuem caráter disciplinador semelhante ao que ocorrem em instituições como as cadeias, manicômios. Através da apreensão do parco poder do saber nas mãos dos dirigentes institucionais, os alunos são transformados em “objetos-sujeito”, alvos de novas técnicas e ações que os desapropriam do direito de questionamento. Muitos autores – Paulo Freire, Ivan Illich, militaram em prol da emancipação das comunidades e de formas de aprendizagem autodirigidas e que promovessem a leitura e apreensão do mundo, efetivando troca de habilidades e o retorno das coletividades. São esses agentes políticos que norteiam essa revisão bibliográfica, de caracteres quiméricos para muitos, mas imprescindível para o retorno da educação que não se encontra apenas nas paredes da arquitetura panóptica dos locais instituídos como educacionais, mas sim em todas as situações que subjetivam os indivíduos ao longo de toda sua vida.

A educação em Direitos Humanos nos projetos político-pedagógicos das escolas de São Paulo

The article presents data from a qualitative study that aimed to investigate the presence of aspects that integrate knowledge, values and practice of the Human Rights Education (HRE) in the political-pedagogical projects (PPPs) of public schools in the state of São Paulo. 15 documents were analyzed from criteria based on reference documents for HRE in Brazil. The criteria were organized into seven areas: internal and external community; principles and concepts of education; goals; curriculum; democratic participation and school environment; teacher training and evaluation. We sought to identify whether the HRE related elements were missing, or if they were just mentioned or stood out through propositional planned actions in PPPs. The data demonstrate that the contents directly related to HRE are absent from PPPs, some issues related to this type of education are weakly mentioned and there are some planned actions that promote rights. However, the intentional, systematic and conscious planning of HRE is not yet reflected in this document type.

Comparar a influência nas capacidades funcionais e nível de atividade física de dois tipos de aula de educação física em adolescentes do ensino médio do municipio de Rio Claro-SP

Regular physical activity can prevent and treat various diseases and non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity and cardiovascular disease. However, the prevalence of physical inactivity among adolescents in Rio Claro is 83%. Thus, it is necessary to encourage physical atividade through the community, especially parents and schools. The objective was to investigate the influence of two types of gym class in functional abilities in high school students in the city of Rio Claro-SP. Methodology: The study included 20 students from high school, 8 boys and 12 girls. The study took place in two high school halls of a public school in the city of Rio Claro. With the collaboration and participation in only 10 students in each room search reviews of all students occurred in mid-July in the year 2012 with the completion of the battery of tests and application of PAQ-C questionnaire at the beginning of classes of and after three months. All students were subjected to the test battery Eurofit. To compare the values of physical fitness for each type of class was held factorial ANOVA for repeated measures using SPSS and the level of physical activity was performed the Wilcoxon test. To compare the delta values (post-test-time time pre test every physical fitness) we performed the t test for all analyzes was adopted p <0.05 Classes G1 followed the schedule proposed by the state 's Notebook, where he worked subjects as body and beauty and its relationship with the media today, prevailing more conceptual classes than procedural . Unlike what has been developed with the G2 who had classes were focused on physical fitness and physical conditioning to increase the level of physical activity inside and outside the school environment . The University is responsible for the stablishment of citizens with critical thinking, based on current concepts, capable of a dynamic and participative attitude in the community in which these professinals will be inserted. Education at environmental sustainability, permeated by the articulation among knowledge, social, and cultural phenomena, brings the challenge of incorporating skills, providing essential values not only for understanding the historical relations between human beings and the environment, but also to improving the quality of life. The “World Conference on Higher Education in the Twenty-first Century: Vision and Action" guides the educational process by its mission to train citizens professionals, highly informed, motivated, integrated and able to create a society based on love of humanity and wisdom. The balancing among the basic functions of teaching, research and extension within the University contributes to the student to take ownership of the construction of his own knowledge in a perspective of integral formation of the human being, aware of his social responsibility and policy for a society environmentally sound. This paper aims to, guided by literature review, present some considerations on the role of the University in education for environmental sustainability.

A contribuição da história para educação ambiental em comunidades

The relationship between human beings and between them and nature are the result of a historical and social context in which they are inserted. The man is a natural living being who can only survive by the exchange with nature’s metabolism, but over time and human’s decisions this relation was interrupted, which strengthened by capitalism logic resulted as a civilization crisis. With these concerns, it’s necessary to overcome the context in which the crisis was generated, transforming the relationship between men and nature. This study, based on Critical Environmental Education and qualitative research methodology, occurred on a seashore community on Guarujá, investigated the the involvement of its population on social activities already developed on Prainha Branca: how they exercise their community citizenship, which factors limit these processes, and how responsible the residents feel about their own reality, in order to elucidate the aspects that involve that dynamics and population’s potential to build their own history.
