Estudos citogenéticos de mutações na transformação de neoplasias benignas em malignas do sistema musculoesquelético

O câncer tem sido alvo de incessantes pesquisas sobre sua etiologia, desenvolvimento, progresso e tratamentos. Sua importância no campo científico se dá pela sua alta taxa de mortalidade e morbidade. O fato de que seja uma doença genética, que pode ter interferência ambiental e dietética, está cada vez mais elucidado, porém ainda existem muitos mecanismos a serem desvendados. As neoplasias ósseas, benignas ou malignas, e processos inflamatórios ósseos acometem desde crianças até adultos e idosos, podendo causar danos físicos, incapacidade motora e até a morte. Portanto, presumir o potencial de transformação maligna das lesões benignas, agressividade tumoral, capacidade de invasão tecidual, probabilidade de recidiva, propensão ao desenvolvimento de metástases e resposta ao tratamento, é um valioso expediente na escolha da proposta terapêutica. Estudos genéticos e citogenéticos têm ajudado a aumentar o entendimento sobre a carcinogênese, progressão tumoral, prognósticos e diagnósticos. Portanto, este estudo teve como objetivo detectar mutações e marcadores cromossômicos consistentes e recorrentes na transformação de tumores benignos em malignos no sistema musculoesquelético, através de análises com citogenética clássica, e relacionar estes achados com o prognóstico e diagnóstico dos pacientes. Dentre os casos coletados e analisados citogeneticamente, foram selecionados três casos de lesões ósseas benignas e três lesões ósseas malignas tidas como a progressão tumoral dos respectivos casos benignos, para discussão e relato de caso. Os achados citogenéticos relataram consistentes alterações numéricas e estruturais clonais em regiões cromossômicas com genes importantes envolvidos na progressão tumoral. Comunicação no terceiro setor: novos paradigmas para transformação social

This study is the result of a bibliographical research on the performance of the Third Sector in the current society. From references the study tried to locate the sprouting of the Third Sector in the international scene, whit the bankruptcy of welfare state, until its insertion in the Brazilian scene. Following this historical context, the paper of Communitarian Communication, Social Marketing and Communitarian Public Relations is discussed the importance of the communication of this Sector. Moreover, it has the effort of making one brief conceptualization and definition of the present terms. Working whit the concepts of Communitarian Communication and Communitarian Public Relations the study tried to focus the importance of creating a bond whit the development of a new educational model. Finally, the relation and the paper of the Communication in the construction of a new conception of citizenship was discussed. The hypothesis that crossed this study with respect to the potentialities of the Third Sector are considered an answer to the current social economic and political questions. Confiding, thus, a dynamic and stimulating field for the professional of Public Relations that, opposing what some studies had tries to show, are not necessarily the service of the market or private interests, but can collaborate whit its expertise to help to rescues the ethical values capable to change the life into a more solidary society

Análise da recepção de um programa de transformação de cultura organizacional em uma empresa de tecnologia

The Organizational Culture has been in the spotlight in the last 25 years, studies show the influence of the culture in the production processes and in the strategy decisions of the companies. Changes in the organizational culture is necessary in key-moments of the corporation and this transformation moment influences directly the personal life and the professional life of the employees. The objective of this monograph is to verify the application of the “Transformation Program”, which is the changing program of a technology enterprise, and to attest the acceptation degree and the knowledge of the employees about the program, as well the main difficulties found by the company while implementing the project. Using a quantitative pool, the acceptation degree, the knowledge of the employees and their engagement with the Transformation Program were analyzed by checking the favorability of the answers and comparing the percentage of the whole company and its locations, besides with the results an understanding change curve was created, it identifies the stage that he employees are during the changing process. An interview with the actual and the previous program officers and two project managers was done, in order to identify their alignment with the theory and their perception about the difficulties found while applying the program. It was noted that the employees have heard about the Transformation Program and the majority is in the exploration phase of the understanding change curve, although it is necessary an special attention with the leaders, because the researches showed that the leaders are acting like a bottleneck in the communications by keeping the information that should be shared

Transformação da paisagem da área de preservação ambiental APA no Município de Botucatu-SP

The Environmental Protection Areas (EPA) are a type of sustainable use conservation unit, therefore its territory have public and private areas. To establish and reorganize the use of EPA’s territory, aiming the environment conservation along with human actions, it is necessary a management plan that should be conducted within five years from the date of its creation. The EPA Botucatu, established in 1983, does not have its management plan completed until the present day. The consequences of lack of organization about the use and occupation of its territory can be observed in a comparative study of territorial classification between the years 1985 and 2010, which was the objective of this study. As a result, it could be observed the decrease of the remaining fragments and intense fragmentation of them, pointing to the need for projects that aim the restoration, conservation and connectivity between these fragments and the subsequent application

Avaliação, gestão e novas possibilidades para emancipação na perspectiva de transformação social

Este texto discorre sobre diferentes concepções de avaliação, que, uma vez materializadas nos instrumentos, devem possibilitar reflexões sobre o estado do objeto avaliado e sobre as práticas educativas que promovem mudanças ou se perpetuam pela reprodução. Destaca a questão do uso de indicadores de forma crítica e busca, nos argumentos que fundamentam essa criticidade, o respaldo para reorientar a gestão educativa. Nesse sentido, discute a intencionalidade da avaliação institucional e dos programas de avaliação de resultados dos sistemas de ensino. Oferece ainda algumas pistas para que, na perspectiva da gestão, as ações avaliativas, pelo seu potencial regulador, tenham participação efetiva na qualificação dos processos educativos. Estratégias tecnológicas em transformação: um estudo da indústria farmacêutica brasileira

The aim of this research is to analyze the extension of changes in technological strategies of a group of Brazilian pharmaceutical companies, which we believe were induced by transformations in the institutional environment during the 1990s. Major institutional changes, such as the enacting of laws that recognized drug patents rights and fostered generic drugs market, have strengthened the market insertion and competitive position of these companies, what would enable an increase in research and development efforts in Brazil. In addition to the literature on technology strategy and drug industry, this study was based on interviews with six Brazilian pharmaceutical companies, all of which were ranked among the top national companies in the industry and have been considered in previous studies particularly active in the process of changing technological strategies. This research confirmed a significant intensification of technology efforts carried out by Brazilian drug companies. Nevertheless, the R&D intensity is still far below the global pattern and innovative impacts are slight.

Transformação cosmética de caninos em incisivos laterais: uma abordagem sistemática

A agenesia de dentes do grupamento anterossuperior é de fácil percepção pelo leigo por afetar a estética do sorriso, sendo esse o motivo principal da busca por tratamento nesses casos. Atualmente, as diferentes opções de tratamento ampliam as possibilidades clínicas mas também trazem dúvidas e discussões sobre qual abordagem seria a ideal. O objetivo desse estudo foi avaliar, por meio da execução de um caso clínico, os parâmetros de importância no planejamento da transformação de caninos em incisivos laterais pelo uso da técnica restauradora direta com resinas compostas. Com o avanço das propriedades mecânicas, das cores e técnicas de estratificação dos materiais compósitos atuais, resultados altamente estéticos e mais duráveis podem ser conquistados. Em casos de agenesia de incisivos laterais e reposicionamento de caninos, a reanatomização com resinas compostas em incisivos laterais é um procedimento viável e com previsibilidade de resultados quando um método multidisciplinar e racional de trabalho é utilizado pela equipe odontológica.

O papel das redes de transformação no processo de inovação: estudos de caso sobre a descoberta e a comercialização da inovação

Innovation is widely recognized as important. In addition, in this context, innovation networks have gained importance in academic studies, since an organization alone, does not always have access to all necessary resources. Gobbo Junior and Olsson (2010) proposed a model of network innovation whereby the transformation networks would be the linking structures between exploration and exploitation networks. In this context, this paper presents two case studies of innovation networks, aiming to increase the understanding on transformation networks. The objective was to understand how they interconnect exploration and exploitation networks; the main actors present in this interface; and to evaluate whether these actors can act as agents, to accelerate the innovation process. It was possible to verify how the transformation networks interconnect exploration and exploitation, and identify the practices and their main actors.

Os experimentos de Griffith no ensino de Biologia: a transposição didática do conceito de transformação nos livros didáticos

Griffith's experiments regarding bacterial transformation Pneumococcus are regarded as essential when related to DNA/heredity recognition process. The aim of the current study is to assess the didac tic transposition of the concept of bacterial transformation since the Griffith's descriptions until its current approach on didactic books. We realized that the historical context and the relationship between bacterial transformation and DNA recognition as genetic material are poorly explored. The core of our paper is the historical approach of those exper iments. By considering the wide richness of the knowledge that is ranged on Griffith's experiments, we suggest a didactic transposition concerning bacterial transformation in the learning process, involving an integration of contents.
