O papel da mediação da informação nas universidades

The information process should be understood as essential to the success of any institution, mainly those that produce knowledge. Information mediation being part of this process must be understood as an action capable of directing the knowledge construction of individuals. The information mediation in universities is a way of mediating the knowledge generated within and outside the university environment, including its specialized audience and to society. Thus the concept of information mediation is discussed in this work and its role within universities and the role of information professionals as information mediators. The social responsibility of universities needs to be reaffirmed into the society and the information is a possible way for the success of this action.

Mediação da informação orgânica sob a perspectiva do processo decisório empresarial: análise do papel do arquivista

This paper addresses the issue of mediation in the process of information decision-making, more specifically, organic information, seeking to deepen its determinants in an attempt to understand the mechanisms on which supports. It also examines the role of the archivist as an information professional in this process. Conceptually, it is understood that the information Organic is produced within the organization as a result of the implementation of activities and tasks undertaken. The national literature that addresses this issue is poor and therefore needs further examination. Weaving relations organic information and mediation in the context of decision making is rare in literature. Thus, this study seeks to contribute to discussions in regarding this matter and also adds to this the importance of standing up issues that may contribute to the development of studies Information Science.

This research focuses on methods and strategies for educational-based digital tools, aimed at the public school. Thus, we present possibilities, and the main actions of the national museum institutions in several online educational services that exemplify some forms of virtual mediation in order to verify the relevance of using these tools. The study discusses the need for museums to follow the advance of new technologies to engage and retain the public school, consisting of a highly connected generation with new technologies. It also brings a brief overview of the evolution of the museum in the Western world and presents the formation and nature of art collections that comprise the Artistic-Cultural Collection of the Governmental Palaces of the State of São Paulo, focusing on the management policy of each period, highlighting the educational program and the relationship with the website. As a practical exercise, the research presented suggests applying a form of mediation for the virtual site of Artistic-Cultural Collection of the Governmental Palaces to extend relations sector educational institution for the virtual context

Economia solidária e tecnologias sociais: mediação para a emancipação social de grupos autogestionários

The goal of this paper is to critically analyze the practices developed by Solidarity Economy and to merge them with social technologies, aiming to achieve social transformation of popular groups. This transformation consists in the empowerment of those groups in means of work organization, considering their self-management and also the development of techniques and technologies utilized. Based on the understanding that technical development has no neutral character and it follows linearity within society, a discussion around the forms and uses of technology is conducted here, aiming at the perspective of changes in technologies’ development and also assigning social character to them. To think of social technology requires us to consider the space in which it is inserted, once it refers to a collective demand that belongs to self-managed groups. Therefore, to intent beyond self-management work, new productive forces are discussed here, and also the analysis and adhesion of an alternative technology for popular cooperatives

Relações públicas e a mediação do diálogo intercultural na comunicação organizacional

The large flow of businesses going abroad generates an ever more diverse internal multicultural organizational scenario. Different national cultures inside an organization can directly influence the management of people. Human values, languages, customs, work modes/routines and different habits can create conflicts among parties. This study deals with the role of Public Relations as a tool/strategy to deal with conflicting intercultural communication inside business organizations. The analysis is grounded on theoretical principles concerning the roles of communication professionals as the individuals responsible for the relationship between an institution and the internal public. The study introduces intercultural communication as a growing area to be explored by the Public Relations professional and highlights the possibility of emerging innovative solutions for organizational problems. Este texto tem por objetivo apresentar as representações do mundo do trabalho dos alunos do Ensino Médio, da Escola Estadual Prof. Dr. João Deoclécio da Silva Ramos, Distrito de Talhado, São José do Rio Preto (SP), através do uso de mídias virtuais, especificamente o Blog de Aula - Mutirão de Sociologia (www.mutiraodesociologia.com.br). Compreender as representações de mundo trabalho possibilita aos alunos pensar em uma profissão a qual se identifiquem, além de estimular a reflexão enquanto futuros profissionais. As mídias virtuais, especialmente os blogs, possibilitam aos alunos expressar seus modos de viver e pensar o mundo do trabalho. No contexto da cidade de Rio Preto, é especialmente relevante aquelas representações do mundo do trabalho rural, de modo que este projeto vem a colaborar na elaboração de pesquisas interessadas na descrição e compreensão de processos que envolvem relações entre trabalho, educação e mundo rural.

Mediação como base de estratégias pedagógicas voltadas a alunos com deficiência mental severa: indicadores para a prática docente

The paper talks about the education of persons with disabilities severe mental retardation based on the idea of Reuven Feuerstein mediation. The collected data were analysed mainly under the focus quantitative, allowing extraction of details of everyday life investigated. Aims to describe and analyze the implementation process their educational, focusing on teaching strategies used by Special Education teachers in the Araraquara’s city. In addition, seeks to address the educational process of a population slightly investigated by uniting two strands of thread in an innovative way: the Theory of Structural Cognitive Modifiability (SCM) and Reuven Feuerstein education of students with severe cognitive impairment. The methodology initiated by the establishment of the teacher’s profile, their mapping and location. Data collection was achieved through three instruments: interviews with teachers, observation protocol and field diary for registration. Our results describe the work of a teacher, showing their practice, and enlist the pedagogical strategies used, mainly those related to the criteria medication. According to the Theory of Structural Cognitive Modifiability (SCM) and the idea of Mediated Learning Experience (MLE), the teacher acts as mediator, interposing themselves between stimuli the environment and the student. This shows it is possible to associate the ideas of Feuerstein practices aimed at teaching students with severe mental disabilities.
