A universidade e o desafio de escrever para professores

The article broaches processes relating to the production of texts aiming primary education teachers, focusing both function and role of the authors on these texts. In the present educational context, the authors of these papers perform an important purpose as their actions integrates the legitimation of specific discourses and new modalities of teacher formation. These academic researchers come across new challenges, e.g. writing for school teachers. The study which data is presented in this article was accomplished under a qualitative approach, starting with documentary analysis, and interviews, having as an empiric reference a special program for graduated working teachers.

Fotografias escolares: a leitura de imagens na história da escola primária

This research consists in photograph reading, more specifically, school photographs related to primary teaching in the city of Campinas, between 1897 and 1950. It is based on a heritage constituted of 55 images that analyzes four categories of photographs: school architecture, student classes, teaching body and school activities, these categories illustrate the discourse about school, human contexts and social relations revealed by those images. The text also focuses the iconography documentation relevance for History of Education research, specially, about educational institutions.

As perspectivas dos alunos de 8º e 9º anos em relação à educação física escolar em uma escola pública

A problemática desta pesquisa gira em torno do fenômeno do crescente desinteresse e desmotivação dos alunos, em relação às aulas de Educação Física, já constatado em muitos estudos. Desse modo, o objetivo desta pesquisa é buscar compreender as perspectivas dos alunos dos 8º e 9º anos do ensino fundamental de uma escola pública, em relação à educação física escolar, nos seguintes aspectos: como avaliam as suas aulas; quais seus (des) interesses e (des) motivações diante delas; que importância atribuem à educação física; que expectativas possuem em relação a ela. Foi utilizado um questionário com questões abertas e fechadas, respondido por 81 alunos escolhidos aleatoriamente. Os resultados indicam que os alunos gostam das aulas de educação física, mas lhe atribuem menor importância diante de outras disciplinas. Também apontam para a pouca diversidade de conteúdos nas aulas de educação física e pouca atenção do professor para as estratégias de ensino que poderiam motivar mais os alunos, o que contribui para o desinteresse. Conclui-se que a motivação intrínseca às atividades da educação física não vem sendo bem aproveitada, diminuindo a contribuição da disciplina para a formação educativa dos alunos, embora o professor não possa, sozinho, ser responsabilizado por esta situação

Jogo de handebol e futsal na escola: possibilidades e limites pedagógicos

Sports team, specifically soccer and handball, has traditionally composing the physical education school contents as a curriculum component. There are several criticisms to extend this approach beyond the sportive discourse. While we recognize this need for expansion, we believe that the methodological endeavors to teach these sports content are still very poor, requiring, therefore, studies that guide us in changing not only contents but also the way of teaching it, which implies new e teaching, pupils and teaching relationship perspective. In this sense, the objective of this study was to identify and analyze, from a sports team tactics teaching approaches of invasion, the demonstrations by students, the phases of handball and soccer games, as well as the elements/dynamic structural, functional and operational in the same school environment. Given this objective, qualitative research, specifically, collaborative action research, best meets investigation is this scenario, since classroom teacher and students also participated in the content construction and strategies undertaken during the intervention. The study enrolled 28 students in the fifth grade, aging 10 to 11 years, in a Bauru/SP public school, physical education teacher and the researcher. Were planned and taught together, 14 classes over a semester with the handball and futsal content, guided for teaching tactics approaches. The data collections were made through systematic lessons observation (through filming and recording diary), interviews with students and descriptive reports made by the classroom teacher and researcher. The results indicate that there was an improvement in the phases of soccer and handball game, even though only the latter has changed its category phase to decentralized anarchic phase. Comparação do desenvolvimento neurológico entre os gêneros em alunos ingressantes no ensino fundamental em uma escola municipal em Bauru

Human beings' motor capacity development is essential, because it facilitates movement, enabling the performance of motor activities and others. In pre-school, boys and girls acquire the motor capacity development considered basic that, through several factors such as neurological maturation, which is in charge of providing more complete movements, and body growth, which has the goal of a better body domain, makes them improve individually the performance of motor abilities, but it can minimize them if laterality does not develop spontaneously. There by, this study focused on assessing the neurological development between genders of students engaging in fundamental school. Forty-three children of both genders at age six took part in this study. The evaluation occurred through the LEFÉVRE protocol (1976), which aims at assessing the maturity and development of the Nervous System through tests of the Evolutionary Neurological Exam (ENE), which comprises a series of tests involving specific tasks, regarding age in the static balance items, dynamic balance, appendicular coordination, trunk-member coordination, motor persistency, sensibility and synkinesis. Neurological development comparisons were performed between boys and girls for each item of the battery of tests. The results of the motor persistency and sensitiveness and sensorial activity tests were below the average for six-year-old children, but there was not any difference in gender comparison for each item of the battery of tests, only a small tendency for one of the genders, but meaningless, having a variance in only two tests of the synkinesis exam (Foot-hand and paper ball with the dominant hand), in which boys had a bigger percentage of synkinesis presence than girls did. The results also showed that the majority of the children assessed, both boys and girls have a right manual and pedal preference and the ocular laterality is approximately the same for left and right-handers. Uma análise sobre dislexia na escola

O presente trabalho abordará o tema dislexia, que consiste em um distúrbio específico de leitura, caracterizado por dificuldades de reconhecimento de letras, decodificação e soletração de palavras, o que compromete a aprendizagem e o desempenho de alunos que possuem tal distúrbio. Através do levantamento bibliográfico será feito uma introdução histórica da dislexia, quando esta começou a ser discutida e abordada. Também será apresentando suas causas e características e as possíveis formas de reconhecê-lo. O estudo tem como objetivo apontar a importância do diagnóstico no inicio da alfabetização e quais possíveis estratégias de ensino para trabalhar com este aluno, destacando a importância do apoio dos pais e acompanhamento junto ao psicólogo e fonoaudiólogo, para o desenvolvimento desta criança

Escola de tempo integral: uma análise do processo de implantação na Escola Estadual Carolina Augusta Seraphim. -

No Brasil a educação é um tema delicado, com histórico de índices de reprovação e evasão escolar altos, escolas públicas em condições precárias em muitas regiões e profissionais da área pouco valorizados. As políticas públicas são uma importante ferramenta quando se busca sanar todos estes problemas. Uma proposta que vem sendo implantada no Estado de São Paulo é o das Escolas de Tempo Integral, em que os alunos têm a oportunidade de passar mais tempo na escola, com atividades diferenciadas e um modelo diferente da escola comum. Assim, este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a proposta do modelo e a implementação do mesmo na Escola Estadual Carolina Augusta Seraphim, localizada em Rio Claro. Para a análise de conteúdo, realizada neste trabalho, foi feito o levantamento de material bibliográfico referente ao tema de Escola de Tempo Integral, principalmente no Estado de São Paulo. Também foram analisados documentos e materiais disponíveis no blog da EE Carolina Augusta Seraphim. Podem ser destacados pontos positivos do Programa, como a dedicação exclusiva da equipe gestora, a valorização dos profissionais envolvidos, a participação mais aproximada da comunidade e família dos alunos, a possibilidade que os estudantes têm de pensar e planejar seu futuro. Existem ainda questões a serem melhor debatidas, analisadas ou até mesmo aprimoradas, devido às particularidades de cada escola e até mesmo inovações tecnológicas que podem ser usadas como ferramentas de ensino. A ginástica na educação física escolar de estudantes universitários da Universidade Estadual Paulista/Campus de Rio Claro

Gymnastics is a manifestation of body culture, which has a number of fields (SOUZA, 1997): competition, demonstration, physical conditioning, body awareness and rehabilitation, providing a wide range of knowledge to be presented in physical education. But according to studies conducted by Nista- Piccolo (1988), Polito (1998), Barbosa (1999), Paoliello (2001), Ayoub (2003), Schiavon; Piccolo (2006) knowledge involving gymnastics has been tentatively applied in school. Therefore it is intended to research investigating the experiences of students with gymnastic contents of Physical Education, Universidade Estadual Paulista / Campus Rio Claro. Aiming at the students' perception regarding fitness classes they had in Physical Education. Participated in the survey 133 undergraduate students of Physical Education. On gymnastics experiences in basic education. If they did gymnastics, how often, what content, the materials used and how was that experience. Confirmed the initial hypothesis that the gym has been little applied in Physical Education. The research shows how important the training of future teachers of physical education, which influence other generations and that along with university education, their previous experiences lead to higher education, for Physical Education classes that minister future

O estudo errado e a escola conivente: a escola como reprodutora das estruturas do capitalismo

A escola possui um papel fundamental em nossa estrutura social contemporânea ocidental. Ela interage dialeticamente com nossa sociedade sendo um local reprodutor e alterador de valores, crenças e hábitos em que quase todos frequentam por mais de uma década. Este Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso tem como objetivo trazer reflexões sobre a função da escola, a quem ela serve e porque, analisando a música Estudo Errado de Gabriel, o Pensador, dialogando com autores que abordam a escola em uma perspectiva crítica, como os críticosreprodutivistas, Althusser e Bourdieu, mas também com Gramsci, Foucault, entre outros. Os questionamentos sobre a função da escola e seus interesses constantemente são feitos de maneira superficial e se aprofundados poderiam colaborar para uma maior criticidade e transformação do cotidiano e da prática escolar. A pesquisa se desenvolverá em uma abordagem qualitativa e a metodologia utilizada será pesquisa bibliográfica, análise documental, através da análise de conteúdo. Meu intuito com este trabalho é discorrer sobre as forças que direcionam a escola, desconstruir a aparente neutralidade que a escola possui no imaginário popular e trazer a tona que a escola é produto de um conflito social

O rúgbi e seus valores educacionais na escola

Physical education in their school environment can contribute positively in the training of students as it is in this discipline that many students feel more motivated to discuss and reflect on conflicts related to school life or in society. In this study we treat the rugby exploring attitudes and values that are present in this sport, considered important for the development of the student, with the methodological approach the dimensions of the contents developed by Coll et al. (2000) and Zabala (1998). Thus, the aim of this study was to develop rugby content emphasizing the values linked to it with students of the 5th year of primary education in a public school in the city of Rio Claro / SP. Among the values are integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline and respect that will be developed through conceptual and procedural lessons about rugby and its educational values, also taking advantage of situations up to during classes for discussions. The survey was conducted for 3 months. The evaluation was by holding a tournament organized by the students and by the researcher to observe what they learned regarding the dimensions of rugby contents (conceptual, Procedural and Attitudinal) and an essay where students expressed the experiences. As a result we see the importance of working educational values in society and the implementation of educational sports at school as a motivational tool. With the contribution of this research, it is expected that rugby can be worked in schools as an educational sport for the training of the individual and the development of physical culture of the students

A relação aluno e a escola: a cultura como resgate do prazer de estar na escola

Este trabalho coloca em pauta os problemas de sociabilidade e convivência existentes dentro da escola em busca de algumas respostas e de uma compreensão mais aprofundada sobre os motivos pelos quais alguns alunos não se sentem acolhidos na instituição, o que os afasta da convivência social e reflete negativamente em sua aprendizagem, em sua trajetória social e em seu futuro desenvolvimento profissional. Partimos da hipótese de que o envolvimento de alunos em atividades culturais tais como cinema, música, literatura, teatro, visita a museus, etc., seja participando como ouvintes ou em oficinas, pode, através de suas várias formas, resgatar um convívio produtivo entre alunos e a instituição fazendo-os querer estar na escola, propiciando oportunidades de desenvolvimento a partir da aquisição de bens culturais, complementando a formação intelectual formal. O trabalho visa acompanhar uma turma do 6° ano de uma escola estadual de Rio Claro, participante do Projeto de Extensão Educação, Cultura e Inclusão Social e verificar os efeitos do acesso aos bens culturais no desempenho escolar, nas relações com seus pares, com seus professores e com a instituição. A pesquisa fundamentar-se-á teoricamente na Sociologia de Pierre Bourdieu e nos escritos de Juarez Dyrell sobre escola e cultura. Multiculturalismo, diversidade cultural e cotidiano escolar: uma análise da temática em filmes de escola

This work has as its theme the multiculturalism, cultural diversity and their reflections in school everyday, more specifically on the interactions between the various subjects and social groups that make up a school and the teacher as mediator of the relationship between these guys. The theme Multiculturalism refers in the first instance, to the theoretical movement beginning in the mid-20th century in the United States and that spreads in the Western world as a way of tackling the conflicts generated depending on the economic issues, policies, and, in particular, cultural-ethnic, in an attempt to combat discrimination and prejudice, given the difficulties of individuals and groups to welcome and socialize with the plurality and cultural differences (SILVA; BRANDIM, 2008).At the same time, multiculturalism refers to cultural studies, through the Centre for Contemporary cultural studies, founded by em1964 Hoggart, and connected to the English language Department of the University of Birmingham in England.In contemporary times, due to the phenomenon of globalization and public policy to challenge prejudice and discrimination the subjects and social groups, regardless of color, creed, ethnicity, sexual orientation and nationality, this theme has been recurring in order to recognize plural identities and ensure and directly affects the school as a place of cultural diversity and conflicts generated by the very diversity.The present work aims to analyze and understand how the issue of multiculturalism and cultural diversity in school films. Our study will be based theoretically in Cultural Studies authors and uses the qualitative approach, working with movie content analysis of school, seeking to seize on the same relations of coexistence, conflicts and the mediations of teachers
