The tertiary sector is largely responsible for the growth of electricity consumption in Brazil. The large commercial and public buildings, hypermarkets and shopping centers stand out as major consumers of electricity for lighting, power and thermal energy. Brazil presents significant potential for the deployment of small cogeneration plants, especially in the tertiary sector. Allied to this, the possibility of natural gas supply and the growing demands in favor of maintaining and preserving the environment favor the implementation of cogeneration plants. Durante a revolução industrial, o trabalho manual tornou-se mecanizado, repetitivo e automatizado, e com o aumento da competitividade do trabalho e a busca desenfreada pela produtividade, os trabalhadores eram submetidos à estresse, depressão, acidentes e lesões no local de atuação (DE ALMEIDA et al., 2009). A fim de reduzir esses malefícios causados pelo trabalho surge na Polônia, em 1925, a ginástica laboral. Vários estudos apresentam os benefícios da ginástica laboral, tais como melhora da flexibilidade, estados de ânimo, e etc. Mas a queixa por dores e afastamentos causados por LER/DORT tem nos chamado atenção; por isso esse estudo tem como principal objetivo verificar alterações na incidência e intensidade de dores em participantes do projeto de extensão de Ginástica Laboral da UNESP campus de Rio Claro. Foram ministradas duas aulas de ginástica laboral preparatória por semana, com duração de 15min. Cada, e por um período de quatro meses. Os participantes responderam três instrumentos:, Nórdico para Dor adaptado, Questionário Internacional de Atividade Física e Questionário auto-elaborado para o estudo com perguntas referentes a intensidade do trabalho e tipo de ocupação, em dois momentos distintos: o primeiro antes da intervenção e o segundo após a intervenção. Após analisarmos os dados, constatamos que a ginástica laboral contribui de forma positiva para a diminuição da incidência e intensidade da dor em trabalhadores. O estudo mostrou que duas sessões semanais, com duração de quinze minutos cada sessão, de ginástica laboral preparatória são suficientes para a diminuição da incidência e intensidade de dores osteomusculares

The ease and convenience provided by the Internet allow for the communication between the organization and its stakeholders to become rapid and effective. This fact can be good both for the organization and for the public. Keeping this in sight, the Internet as a public relations tool for communication between the organization and its stakeholders is the theme discussed throughout this study. Through bibliographic and exploratory research, this paper aims at pointing at effective tools afforded by the Internet that can be used by Public Relations. These tools can promote the relationship between organizations and its publics inserted on the Internet. In this way, the organization can influence publics in its favor. The present work investigates what strategies the Internet can contribute significantly to the field of Communication despite the fact that it is not able to completely replace traditional media

During the process of development and urban sprawl in the city of Presidente Prudente (SP), some factors as the emergence of new centralities, the change in lifestyles and the expansion of equipments and urban infrastructure contributed to the dismantling and little appropriation of the central open space system. In this sense, the work is about the loss of continuity between the central squares of the city - Monsenhor Sarrion Square, July 9 Square, Bandeira Square and Nossa Senhora Aparecida Square - using different methodologies for character evaluation of each square, identifying the inviting and unattractive aspects of their spaces. The relations between these squares and its surroundings are characterized by analyzing interesting visual played on sketches, to complement character evaluation. Among these studies, it is also analyzed two spatial structures related to the squares – Calçadão and Quintino Bocaiuva Street - which have important architectural referring to the city's history and contribute to the central open space system configuration. General considerations obtained through diagnosis provided subsidies for the projectual proposed intervention, which aims to provide appreciation of the character of these public spaces and their articulation, promoting their use and constituting, thus, an important urban-environment set

This experimental study aimed the evaluation of the use of anthropomorphic phantoms in the analysis of the influence of the acquisition parameters in the contrast of radiographic images. The analyzed factors were the variation of the peak kilovoltage (kVp) and the product of the filament circuit by the time of exposition (mAs). The influence of these factors was verified for different anthropomorphic phantoms: foot, knee and chest. The image contrast behavior with the simulators was compared to values obtained with the use of an aluminum ladder being the behavior of this reference for analysis and discussion. To assure the reproducibility of images, quality control tests were made and evaluation of procedure conditions before the experiments. The results obtained are shown in a scale of images where it was possible to evaluate the impact in the darkness of images. Regions with different compositions were analyzed which were different in image, this way the values of optical density and contrast are represented as charts and graphics. We conclude that the use of anthropomorphic phantoms in the evaluation of the influence of tension of the tube and time of exposition in the contrast of the radiographic images is not indicated for a quantitative analysis through optical density, once they present incompatible results with the data as reference as the aluminum ladder even so these simulators present a great property in qualitative analysis regarding the differentiation of structures and subjective evaluations

Este trabalho apresenta um equipamento móvel, destinado ao uso de pessoas com deficiência e seus cuidadores, denominado Unidade Móvel de Orientação de AVD. Esta Unidade consiste em levar orientações às famílias, relacionadas às práticas diárias das pessoas com deficiência, abordando as modalidades de higiene pessoal, vestuário, alimentação e locomoção. Por intermédio da correta prática nas atividades básicas diárias, particular de cada um, espera-se promover a maior autonomia das pessoas com deficiência, a fim de torná-las mais independentes e melhorar sua autoestima. Com a autonomia adquirida conjuntamente à autoestima, o indivíduo se torna apto a enfrentar maiores barreiras que anteriormente não conseguia. São apresentados as configurações técnicas da Unidade que permitem seu adequado uso, bem como sua locomoção, já que é destinada a atender diferentes áreas

The objective is to obtain a computational domain capable of supporting a simulation of conventional combustion and flameless combustion regimes. Electrical energy is present in the lives of all people and is extremely important that it be delivered to end users with plenty of quality, safety and low costs. The electric power substations are responsible for transmission and distribution of electricity generating sources to consumers, and with technological advances and the subsequent automation of same, the electricity began to be delivered with greater continuity and reliability. Protection systems in substations are largely responsible for making the electricity reaches the final consumer with quality, since their function is to prevent the spread of any type of failure occurred at any point of transmission to the load centers. These systems consist primarily by the current transformers and potential, by the protective relays and circuit breakers and switchgear. The processors send the necessary data to the relays and, if those detect any abnormality in the system, operate the opening command of the branch circuit breakers to isolate where the fault. Therefore, it is essential to better understand the operation of such equipment, as well as the overall system. This work aims to study the main substation equipment, current transformers and potential and, especially, protection relays, in order to obtain the advantages that automated systems can provide

The tanning wastes are characterized to be significant sources of pollution in the hydrosphere when non adjusted or disposed adequated form. That happens because this industry type uses the chromium to tan hides, and this element is present in discharges concentrations in final wastes, characterizing this waste type as dangerous, according to the Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas, através da Norma Brasileira 10.004 de 2004. Due to this, the research proposes a form to reduction chromium of the tanning wastes through the process of adsorption. For that were used mining-wastes of Corumbataí Formation clays, material commonly used in the production of ceramic products in Rio Claro (SP). They were accomplished laboratory essays that involved the preparation of different clays pulps and subsequent mixture of these with the tanning wastes, maintaining them under different mixing times and adsorption contacts. After the separation of the mixtures, the leached were chemically analyzed and it was seen the efficiency of chromium reduction and your relationship with the variation of different times of contact clays/wastes and different grain sizes used in the pulps preparation.

From the questions raised by Bakhtin Circle, especially those intended to gender and dialogue, this work aims to study the relationships of meaning that are established between the statements present in commercial advertising discourse. For each sphere of production, circulation and reception of discourses, genres are appropriate, therefore, all discourse requires a different choice of language resources, which determines, among other things, the style of the message. The advertising genre, a genre characterized as complex, as it works, reframes and incorporates primary genres, has the central objective of building the next one idea being to buy something more frequent. This process occurs mainly through the use of persuasive speeches, compelling, authoritative, imperative and seduction. Our goal is to analyze an advertising piece, discussing how the resources used in advertising participate in the process of enunciation and persuasion and the manner in which the voices of others (previous authors, recipients hypothetical ) mingle with the voice of the subject's explicit enunciation. (Bakhtin, 2010, p. XXVII). Thus, based on Bakhtinian studies, we will think about the relation of the dialogical voices raised in question in advertising, and attend to the role of the other, with his active responsive understanding, how to be active and modifying agent

The objective of this research was to conduct an analysis of multitemporal landscape Ipanema National Forest, located in the municipalities of Iperó, Capela do Alto and Araçoiaba da Serra – São Paulo estate, Brazil, considering the scenarios of 1965, 2007 and 2011. The multitemporal analysis, using aerial photographs and satellite images, contributed to the contextualization and spatialization of the evolution of the landscape area. Through analysis interpretation of the images, performed by means of supervised classification were obtained thematic maps of the area, equivalent to approximately 53 km2. Through geoprocessing techniques, especially Geographic Information Systems, it was possible the integration and manipulation of data, both spatial and statistical, allowing integrated analysis of data from the entire area of the National Forest of Ipanema. As the main result, we found that the Ipanema National Forest is in landscape evolution positive, with those 46 years examined the increase of native heavy foliage areas. Increasing from 7.1 km2 of the total area of dense vegetation in 1965 to 35.9 km2 in 2011. Overall, it was possible to realize a scenario landscape quite optimistic about the evolution of forest conservation area

The main purpose of this work is to evaluate the chemical composition of the groundwaters from Guarani Aquifer System and Serra Geral Aquifer System in the Rio Pardo basin, located at the southwestern of São Paulo state. To the hydrochemical characterization, physicalchemical analyses from 32 sampled wells were used. These results were plotted in Piper diagrams allowing the classification of groundwater as calcium or calcium-magnesium bicarbonate type and sodium bicarbonate type for both aquifer systems. Distribution of hydrochemical facies over the study area was obtained using Stiff diagrams. The groundwater can be classified, representing in this sequence its hydrochemical evolution. The recognized mechanisms responsible for groundwater evolution are dissolution of minerals magnesium, such as olivine, present in the basalt, dissolution of feldspars and removal of the carbonate cement of the sandstones mineral framework. Ionic exchange may represent an important processes in the groundwater evolution, responsible for the increase in the sodium concentration and decrease of calcium

In chemical industry, petrochemical and oil refinery may be found situations that working pressures and very high temperatures, and alloys that comprise such equipment must have specific characteristics such. As a way to ensure that the materials are as designed, companies have some specific techniques, and one of them is X-ray fluorescence spectrometry, which allows its application in devices small and lightweight, which ensures its portability in field use. This technique however, has some shortcomings such as the impossibility of detecting carbon and other elements of low atomic number which can generate false identifications of elements that are not in the league or non-detection of existing elements. Therefore, this study investigated the reliability of this method using the apparatus Niton XL3t 800 and may conclude that their results are reliable and can be used to assist in ensuring the operational integrity of the production units of these companies
