The injection molding of automotive parts is a complex process due to the many non-linear and multivariable phenomena that occur simultaneously. Commercial software applications exist for modeling the parameters of polymer injection but can be prohibitively expensive. It is possible to identify these parameters analytically, but applying classical theories of transport phenomena requires accurate information about the injection machine, product geometry, and process parameters. However, neurofuzzy networks, which achieve a synergy by combining the learning capabilities of an artificial neural network with a fuzzy set's inference mechanism, have shown success in this field. The purpose of this paper was to use a multilayer perceptron artificial neural network and a radial basis function artificial neural network combined with fuzzy sets to produce an inference mechanism that could predict injection mold cycle times. The results confirmed neurofuzzy networks as an effective alternative to solving such problems.

In heavy machining industries, a critical point that must be taken into account is setup. Because the characteristics of machine tools and parts to be machined, usually pieces robust and large, the preparation of these parts must be made accurately for machining has a good result as planned. As a result of the difficulty raised in the setup machining of heavy parts, companies in this segment seek alternatives to reduce the unproductive time caused by setup and optimize machining processes. One way was found that these companies create operating instructions that describe and standardize the operation between its employees, as well as deploy a control machining times to measure the unproductive time caused by the setup. This work studied a new system for the realization of centering and alignment of Rotating Deck R-9350 in CNC Milling Machine PAMA Speedram 3000, in Liebherr Brazil company. The part Rotating Deck R-9350 is a critical part in which its machining in PAMA Milling Machine is made in three phases and their setup times are quite high and involve stopping the machine. It has been tested and proposed a solution to the realization of this part of the setup without the use of the machine, but of the measuring instrument three-dimensional Laser tracker, with which the machine continued to work, while he was in the centering and alignment of other parts. It was noted that the instrument technically attended the need and it was possible to perform this operation more accurately

In contrast to what happened in the past where it was possible to select which species had a lower degree of variation, it is now necessary to use fast-growing species with efficient processing. For that we use the wood of Eucalyptus sp and studies related to the machining processes and their parameters such as wear of cutting tools and roughness. The present work aims to analyze the influence of geometry of cutting tools of high speed steel and the influence of the diameter of the final pieces in the process of turning wood of Eucalyptus sp in relation to power consumption, roughness, temperature machining, chip formed and wear of cutting tools. It was observed that the smaller the diameter of the end parts and greater wear of the tools, the worse quality of the machined surfaces and the greater the power consumed in the process of machining

Nesta pesquisa estudamos o espor te com o foco sobre os slogans lançados no processo de preparação da Copa do Mundo a se real izar no Brasi l em 2014. O corpus da pesquisa se const i tui com algumas peças publicitár ias veiculadas na mídia. Anal isamos a mobilização popular e os aspectos que envolvem a adesão em um movimento do país, de modo geral, e a preparação realizada em cada cidade sede, de modo específ ico, com as transformações operadas tanto no âmbito social quanto est rutural. Cartografamos as marcas do empenho do governo para invest i r na transformação dos valores sociais durante a Copa do Mundo, bem como a apropriação do esporte com o objet ivo de fabricar um legado. Ident if icamos como as marcas da integração ent re os povos e do sent imento de pertença dos cidadãos cooperam para os processos de subjet ivação na sociedade contemporânea. Observamos os efeitos de sent ido ocorr idos na divulgação do slogan da campanha publicitária como uma forma de compreender o signif icado da Copa do Mundo em suas relações com a cultura. Part imos da hipótese de que a p ro d u ç ã o d a “p a i x ã o pelo futebol ” t em s e u s e n t id o amp lia d o p a ra a sugestão massiva de est i los de vida. Na const ituição do corpus de nossa pesquisa ident if icamos as marcas dos vínculos estabelecidos pela publ icidade com a Copa do Mundo. Nosso estudo se situa no campo dos estudos sobre as relações entre o esporte e os processos de subjet ivação na sociedade atual. Interessa-nos observar as implicações entre o corpo e os processos de subjet ivação nas peças publicitárias selecionadas para este estudo.

The Measurement System Analysis (MSA - Measurement System Analysis) is a statistical methodology developed to study and analyze the behavior of the measurement systems, and, therefore, allow the increased of the confidence readings performed by measuring instruments. It’s widely used in the automotive industry since the 90’s and is a mandatory requirement for the approval of the parts according to ISO Standard of the automotive sector. However, the aerospace industry doesn’t require this type of Study, once which the vast majority of aeronautics parts have characteristics (dimensions) with very tight tolerances, closed, ie, at the home of microns. This work aims to create lists of recommendations for definitions of measuring instruments in developing of control plans, which correlates tolerances fields of characteristics for different settings and acceptance of the instrument, classified as optimum, recommended and not recommended, through of the study of R&R (Repeatability and Reproducibility) in aeronautics parts. Every methodology of the experimental part was based on modern strategy of continuous improvement, the DMAIC (Define Measure Analyze Implant Control), in order to achieve better measurement method used in the control of milling aeronautics parts, identifying and reducing the variations of the measurement process. The results of the R&R Study in large part of measuring instrument manuals were considered acceptable and/or recommended, ie with values of %P/T and %RR lower than 30%, providing statistical data which have enabled the elaboration of tables of recommendations, which, from this work, have turned into very important documents and aid for Process Engineering, having in their hands a technical study able to identify which is the most appropriate instrument to get a more robust dimensional... Any failure process that may occur in a part probably is located where the stress exceeded the level of resistance. When a part or component has a sharp change in geometry, such as slots, holes, grooves, bumps or other irregularities, there is an increased concentration of stress at a specific location of the part. The objective of this study is to determine the maximum stresses in structural parts and components using the equations of elasticity theory in conjunction with the stress concentration factor experiment and compare them with results obtained by finite element method

The weight of a vehicle has always been considered an extreme important factor, because it interferes in the performance, steering, consume, environmental impact, wear of components, among the others. Because of the new demand, consume reduction aim and gases emission increased the necessity to manufacture lighter vehicles, guaranteeing the complying with the gas emission international law. Besides the legal demand, the low weight will certainly be essential for the competitiveness for the next generation of vehicles. It is with this thinking the composite materials have been introduced in the automobilist industry, because those materials show an excellent relation of strength/weight, providing a reduction of consume and the increase of load capacity. Those factors justify the increase of interest of industry and the necessity of optimization of those materials and of their process. For this research, the field of application will be the Baja SAE Project, a project that is fully developed by engineering students, where they build a prototype single seat, off-road category, for use on hilly slopes with obstacle. This research aims to study two key components of the prototype are made of composite materials, analyzing all the processing. In addition, there is the analysis of the viability of this production parts to a Baja SAE vehicle, in order to increase their performance and reduce their weight without reducing the safety and robustness of the prototype. It was possible to achieve weight reduction of the steering subsystem with manufacturing the flywheel hybrid composite (carbon/glass) and the replacement of SAE 1010 steel by hybrid composite (carbon/aramid) in CVT box. The importance of this study is to obtain a good project for the vehicle of technical and scientific manner, contributing to the know-how to the team and providing a basis for optimization for upcoming projects

Always seeking the maximum profit under the reduced production time and lower number of failures, companies are increasingly evolving and going after continuous improvement in order to remain competitive in the market. Thus, increasingly there is investment in the management system Lean manufacturing. Lean system is very important, because through it, the maximum value is added in the final product. Being measured by the efficiency and reducing failures to zero. In the studied company, Lean manufacturing system came into effect through the kanban system for purchasing, control and distribution of bulk material used in the assembly of the final product, which are earth-moving machines. It is very important to check the great change made in the company with the implementation of kanban. All inventory management becomes visual, elements are arranged in an organized manner, with addresses in structures, calculated in special boxes and finally, assemblers have the guarantee of an item supply, with the distribution cars located on their assembly area. This study participates effectively assuring the supply. Avoiding any failure on the lack of material, non-compliance of delivery times to the customer and maintenance of over-stock or obsolete inventory, in which case both cause financial loss to the company

Les premières pièces de Victor Hugo ont été les responsables d'une véritable révolution dans l'histoire de las Litterature Française, mais elles n'ont pas eu une acceptation immédiate de la part de la critique, qui s'est partagée entre les partidaires des romantiques et, par conséquent, de nouvelles idées diffusées par le Cénacle et les classiques, les adversaires des jeunes écrivains qui ont embrassé les concepts hugoliens, Au Brésil, la réacrion a été postérieure, mais identique. Qualqu'on ne trouve pas dans les journaux des discussions à propos de la nouvelle école, des nouvelles idées ont été, au début, rejetées par les intellectuels brésiliens et, quelque temps plus tard, adoptées par les écrivains désirant créer un théâtre national basé sur les prinipes défendus par Victor Hugo, le porte-parole du mouvement romantique.
