This paper aims to provide guidelines for the development of communication strategies and relationship to a Private Institution of Higher Education (PIHE), having as initial activity of this process the definition and distinction of its various stakeholders. Currently, it has become necessary due to changes the scene of higher education has been through. In general, competition is greater, the demands of customers increased, causing the university management to take new directions in order to plan the activities in the most possible professional way. The study enables the public to identify needs and preferences of each group, allowing the creation of communication strategies and more targeted and relationships more prosperous and sustainable, making them competitive advantages in the midst of this tumultuous contemporary educational context. Therefore, it was developed a study of public interest of Faculdades Integradas de Bauru - FIB - coupled with the development of a field research, exploratory and descriptive to get subsidies for a project relationship for the various stakeholders of the institution

Relações públicas e o planejamento estratégico nas instituições de ensino superior privadas

The society of the information brings with it a lot of changes day by day of the organizations, mainly for characterizing as a flexible society, in net and ruled in technological progress. The contemporary organizations are inserted in that reality and they need be maintained in markets more and more competitive. The Private Institutions of Higher education enter in this logic for they be organizations with lucrative ends that suffer strong influence of the external and internal atmosphere. To stand out, such Institutions need to count with a strategic administration, ruled in an own strategic planning for the branch in that acts. The professional of public relationships is shown capable to develop their main functions in such complex market. For so much it needs to participate in the global planning of the Private Institutions of Higher education, at the same time in that it develops it planning of the communication, intrinsic to the global strategic planning. This way, the present study treats of the professional's of Public Relationships possible contributions, ruled in theoretical data, inside of Private Institutions of Higher education in the Brazilian current scenery

The aim of this study was to adapt the BriefCOPE Inventory for Portuguese-speaking university students. We evaluate the Portuguese BriefCOPE psychometrics qualities and estimated the BriefCOPE factorial invariance in Brazil and Portugal. The data collected from a sample of 1573 students of both nationalities did confirm the 14-factor structure of the BriefCOPE and showed both factorial, convergent and discriminant related validities. However, the factor model did not show invariance across countries indicating that the use of the Portuguese version of the BriefCOPE cannot be bailed for comparisons of scores of inter-countries' student coping.

O ensino superior noturno no Brasil: história, crescimento e políticas públicas no início do século XXI

There are three distinct and complementary objectives The first objective is to present a short historical overview on the establishment of evening courses in Brazil (classes are held on weekdays, generally from 7:00 pm to 10:30 pm), including those in the higher education level, occurred on the middle of last century. The second objective is to demonstrate the growth of evening higher education, considering that in 1998, of the 2.1 million college enrollments, 55.3% were enrolled in evening courses; in 2010, twelve years later, of the 5.4 million students enrolled, there were 63.5% enrolled in evening courses. The third objective is to discuss current public policies to expand evening openings in public institutions which represent nowadays only 16.1% of the 3.4 million enrollments for evening classes. In the third objective it is included the discussion of programs for scholarships and tuition loans. The research results pointed to the importance of federal programs for scholarships and tuition loans for students from private institutions such as the 1,382,484 scholarships since 2004 (PROUNI Program) and the 847,000 tuition loans since 1999 (FIES Program). Important steps have been made by the Brazilian government. Considering that there are 3,987,424 enrollments in private institutions, the effectiveness of the programs for scholarships and tuition loans is still insufficient to meet the universal benefits for the student’s needs. Evening courses became the real instrument of social inclusion for many Brazilian youths and must be expanded quantitatively and qualitatively, with aggressive public policies, including also, scholarships and tuition loans.

The present study represents a qualitative thesis, characterized as a case study, which uses the method of the present approach. In addressing the academic home in physical education, there is the constancy of the discussions regarding the curriculum and professional formatting. In view of the curriculum modifications to fit the new legislation, and the fact they are few studies related to private institutions that offer such courses, which offer even greater number of courses when compared to public institutions aimed to investigate and analyze the professional profiles, curricular goals and flows contained in the pedagogical projects of courses bachelor degree in physical education and a private institution of higher education of the State of São Paulo, as well as verifying the existence and adequacy of articulation to the institutional educational project and the institutional development plan. Compounding the literature review discussed the key historical facts relating to courses in physical education in our country, and its path to the current model. Also presented was the law of physical education courses in force in Brazil and some concepts about teaching course projects and their relationship to other institutional documents. Techniques were used to review and document analysis, with primary source documents of their own and other government institution. It found a lack of interest of some private institutions of higher education in official documents available for this type of research, which is bad since there are more courses offered by them compared to public institutions. As for the degree course for training teachers of physical education, found lack of specificity regarding the differentiation between content and the bachelor, which ends up deviating from the expectations contained in the course to the one presented in the curriculum. Este artigo tem o propósito de examinar os desafios e oportunidades relacionados à implementação de sistemas de gestão ambiental baseados na Norma ISO 14001:2004 nas Instituições de Ensino Superior e como elas podem se adequar aos requisitos para possuir um sistema de gestão ambiental (SGA). O estudo envolve análises sobre as implicações da adoção de sistemas de gestão ambiental por universidades e sobre os aspectos relevantes na adoção de SGAs com base na Norma ISO 14001, como barreiras, benefícios, motivações, práticas e fatores críticos de sucesso. Luzes são lançadas, assim, a um tema de crescente importância (sistemas de gestão ambiental), com foco em objeto analítico ainda pouco analisado do ponto de vista ambiental (Instituições de Ensino Superior).
