Este trabalho teve o objetivo elaborar e produzir uma cartilha informativa com noções fisiológicas básicas envolvidas no controle da pressão arterial, bem como a descrição da hipertensão e prevenção destinadas a alunos a partir do Ensino Médio, pois além da hipertensão arterial ser uma doença crônica que se caracteriza pela elevação da pressão arterial sistêmica persistente e compor um dos fatores de risco cardiovasculares mais importantes e comuns, apresentando altos índices de morbidade e mortalidade em todos os grupos populacionais, o conceito de pressão arterial e a importância da manutenção dos níveis pressóricos normais devem ser difundidos, a fim de auxiliar no autocuidado com a saúde. Para a formulação adequada da cartilha realizou - se um estudo prévio com 60 alunos de Ensino Médio de uma escola municipal de Botucatu, e através de um questionário avaliamos quantitativamente e qualitativamente por análise de conteúdo: vocabulário, conceitos, interesse sobre pressão arterial e temas interligados. With reference to curricular changes proposed by the CNE Resolution 1 /2002 and CNE 2/2002 on Teacher Education in Basic Education teaching degree - this study aims to analyze the new professional profile proposed in curriculum pedagogy , Physical Education , Science Biology , Mathematics , Physics and Geography . Within the curriculum guidelines was observed in a more normative articulated curriculum, focused on action-reflection- action. A guided design in practical rationality and the skills set without breaking the commitment of the public university with emancipation and quality education . Although there is this understanding we must also attend to the care that must be given to the new guidelines , based on the same reveal great concern with vocational training , with its instrumentation , with the pragmatic and utilitarian dimension of the training process . It is noteworthy that throughout the twentieth century in Brazil , where he fought for educational policies that were to solidify the construction of teacher identity , but the gains have largely remained restricted to the issue of educational reforms and a roster of disciplines , called pedagogical varnish . Therefore, this work is to deepen this thematic perspective , studying the identity of the teacher in the new curriculum design presented by undergraduate courses . Therefore , the central objective seeks to understand how the identity of teacher ( professional profile ) was presented in the proposals for teacher training , as well as the different elements that make up this identity process . This paper focuses on the profile of students of bachelor and teacher training degree in Chemistry and UNESP/Araraquara. Statistical and comparatives analyzes were performed with a large amount of quantitative data on those who registered and passed the entrance examinations of these courses. This information was interpreted based on the concepts of economic and cultural capital developed by Pierre Bourdieu. The first analysis concerned the approval in entrance exams and brings important conclusions regarding the aspects that favor entering university: confirmation of "preparation courses effect"; major weight of cultural capital in relation to economic capital; and observation of the phenomenon of self-selection in relation to the bachelor's under graduation course. The second analysis points to important differences in the profile of a group of students that could be considered homogeneous due to the choice of chemistry course. In addition to bringing new information on the profile of students of chemistry, our analysis has the merit of translating and quantitatively reveals ideas conveyed in common sense about passing the entrance exam.

This paper presents some outcomes of a broader research on Astronomy Education in primary school teacher's education. From the analysis of the main astronomy subjects thought nationwide and the research outcomes, we identified a set of astronomy contents considered fundamental to the teachers practice. Through a research carried out among a sample of primary school teachers, however, we show that, even in these essential contents, persists alternative conceptions among those teachers. Data collected pointed out, thus, to the necessity of improving teacher's education in this area, taking into consideration astronomy edu cation research outcomes, in favor of a teaching which contemplates, at least, the fundamental contents on this subject.

Griffith's experiments regarding bacterial transformation Pneumococcus are regarded as essential when related to DNA/heredity recognition process. The aim of the current study is to assess the didac tic transposition of the concept of bacterial transformation since the Griffith's descriptions until its current approach on didactic books. We realized that the historical context and the relationship between bacterial transformation and DNA recognition as genetic material are poorly explored. The core of our paper is the historical approach of those exper iments. By considering the wide richness of the knowledge that is ranged on Griffith's experiments, we suggest a didactic transposition concerning bacterial transformation in the learning process, involving an integration of contents.

Currently many studies have highlighted the importance of development autonomy of teachers to improve the quality of education. Our study aimed to explore the concepts of autonomy presented that teachers working in kindergarten and first grades of elementary school. Our aim was to understand how these concepoes helped or hindered the development of the action of the teacher second Contreras (2002). The results showed that the conceptions, presented by the teacher, were high ly individualistic, demonstrate a professional focused only on matters relating to the didactic and pedagogic classroom.

This article is inserted in a study aimed at the identification of the main barriers for the inclusion of visually-impaired students in Physics classes. It focuses on the understanding of the communication context which facilitates or hardens the effective participation of students with visual impairment in Mechanics activities. To do so, the research defines, from empirical - sensory and semantic structures, the language to be applied in the activities, as well as, the moment and the speech pattern in which the languages have been used. As a result, it identifies the rela tion between the uses of the interdependent audio-visual empirical lan guage structure in the non-interactive episodes of authority; the decrease in the use of this structure in interactive episodes; the creation of educa tional segregation environments within the classroom and the frequent use of the interdependent tactile-hearing empirical language structure in such environments.

This article is part of a study that seeks to understand the main barriers to the inclusion of visually impaired students in learning Physics. Analyzing modern physics classes, we examine the difficulties in communication between teachers and visually impaired students. Our study emphasizes the analyses of empiricalsensory and semantic structures of speech, indicating factors that may hamper students’ understanding in the classroom. We recommend alternative procedures that aim to facilitate the effective participation of students with visual impairment in the communication process, such as: elimination of the interdependent audiovisual structure and the exploration of the communicational potentialities of a speech based on empirical structures whose accessibility does not depend on visual skills.

In this paper, we analyze the educational importance of teaching Physics in the early grades of elementary school from a teaching experience with students of 5th grade, using five experiments on electricity and magnetism. The theoretical framework used was the socio-historical psychology, especially Vigotski's studies on concept formation. It can be stated that the teaching of Physics and the use of experimental activities in the early grades cannot be simply associated to the teaching of certain scientific concepts, but should be explored bearing in mind the child's development.

This paper aims to investigate the conceptions about the relation between genotype and phenotype of Biological Sciences Degree students who take part in a research group in Epistemology of Biology. In an initial data collection, the presence of ideas based on a restricted to genes and environment relation - without considering the organism and its life history - became evident . However, during the group discussions on the topic there were other statements involving other concepts, such as: molecular interactions, chance, organism and Developmental Biology. The analysis of conceptual (re)constructions that emerged in the group allowed the proposition and the development of an explanatory model for the relation between genotype and phenotype.

This study inserts itself in the research line conceptions on the nature of the science (CNC) in the school atmosphere. More specifically, on that teacher of natural sciences who claims not to be interested in philosophy, it is usually noticed a tendency to understand and to teach a vision of a ready/ finished and unalterable science, which directly influences the students conception of science. Discussed here is the application of a didactic rational reconstruction in high school, the results of which are compatible with a more epistemologically acceptable educational concep tion on the nature of science as something provisory, variable and controversial.
