Este artigo tem como objetivo precípuo analisar como o processo de municipalização do ensino fundamental, deflagrado no Estado de São Paulo a partir de meados dos anos 1990, se comporta no contexto do FUNDEB. Com base em levantamento e análise bibliográficos e documentais acerca da temática em tela, recuperam-se, inicialmente, a história e os desdobramentos de tal processo, antecipado/favorecido por medidas adotadas em nível estadual e fortemente induzido pelo agora extinto FUNDEF. Na sequência, demonstra-se que apesar do advento do FUNDEB, sistemática de financiamento voltada à cobertura de toda a educação básica, o processo de municipalização do ensino fundamental se mantém em curso no Estado de São Paulo. Mesmo representando significativo avanço em relação ao Fundo precedente, o Fundo vigente continua também a induzir, na prática, a municipalização da etapa escolar em questão. Por fim, revela-se que, em tempos de FUNDEB, o referido processo segue caracterizando-se pela permanência de marcantes tendências registradas durante a vigência do Fundo anterior: (1) adesão municipal fundada no enfoque economicista; (2) notória preferência das administrações municipais pelos anos/séries iniciais; e (3) segmentação do ensino fundamental.

Embora as gramáticas latinas possam dar a impressão de que tratam de matéria cujo conhecimento dominamos com tranqüilidade, a verdade é que todo o latim que nós modernos podemos saber é inteiramente baseado em dados teóricos, isto é, escolares, e não empíricos. Isso significa que nosso conhecimento sobre essa língua antiga comporta mais lacunas do que gostaríamos talvez de admitir. É esse o caso fundamental da oposição entre vogais longas e breves. Procurar pensar o idioma dos antigos romanos como uma língua de fato, ou seja, como a língua materna de todo um povo, seria uma boa maneira de encaminhar o estudo do latim, à medida que aqueles dados teóricos possam ser compreendidos menos como referência de pura erudição e mais como sinal de humanidade.

This study aimed to determine how the richness and composition of ant species behaves with changes in the recovery process of a gully erosion. The study area has 0.9 hectares subdivided into three sections called sector: A, B and C. For the definition of the sectors, erosive and natural restoring were taken as the base level of activity. Four transects were laid systematically throughout the area and surrounding compound with forest and grassland. Each transect had three pitfall trap ten meters apart from each other, with catches of ants were held in rainy and dry seasons. Analysis of variance was applied to compare the number of ant species per plot captured and Scott-Knott test 5% for comparison of means. To verify the similarity of species between environments it was performed an analysis of similarity (ANOSIM) and ordering of environments a Nonmetric Multidimensional Scaling (NMDS). We captured 74 species of ants inside and around the gully erosion. The more degraded environment and initial stage of regeneration, showed greater richness of ant species. The composition of ant species was different between the recovery environments and around. The parameters of ant communities analyzed, richness and composition species were influenced by the regeneration of the area, indicating that ants can be used as bioindicators of gullies recovery.

A coletânea tem como eixo central a Educação Escolar e este tema conduz e confere unidade às reflexões, abordado a partir de diferentes perspectivas. A preocupação que perpassa todos os textos pode ser expressa na seguinte pergunta: como enfrentar os problemas vividos pela escola, num momento em que a ela se atribui uma gama enorme de responsabilidades? Cada autor, circunscrito à sua temática de pesquisa, nos instiga a pensar essa questão. O que move cada um é o desejo de que a escola acolha aqueles que lá chegam e que se responsabilize por eles, mas sem perder de vista o quanto é complexa e delicada essa atividade de inserção dos novos neste mundo. Talvez, a ideia de responsabilidade seja mesmo a que melhor defina os propósitos gerais desta coletânea, a qual se manifesta no compromisso político com a educação de crianças e de adolescentes, portanto, no compromisso com o mundo em que vivemos. A resposta a essa pergunta poderá ter como parâmetro os textos aqui presentes que estão assim organizados: na primeira parte da coletânea, os autores lidam com aspectos relacionados às Políticas Públicas e Educação; na segunda abordam a Formação de Professores; na terceira parte, focam Valores e Educação e, na quarta parte, voltam-se para as Práticas Educativas. Concluímos, destacando que esta coletânea explicita o quanto é complexa a tarefa de investigar a educação escolar, pois ela comporta uma série de nuances que precisa ser analisada por diferentes saberes que são complementares.

Information retrieval has been much discussed within Information Science lately. The search for quality information compatible with the users needs became the object of constant research.Using the Internet as a source of dissemination of knowledge has suggested new models of information storage, such as digital repositories, which have been used in academic research as the main form of autoarchiving and disseminating information, but with an information structure that suggests better descriptions of resources and hence better retrieval.Thus the objective is to improve the process of information retrieval, presenting a proposal for a structural model in the context of the semantic web, addressing the use of web 2.0 and web 3.0 in digital repositories, enabling semantic retrieval of information through building a data layer called Iterative Representation.The present study is characterized as descriptive and analytical, based on document analysis, divided into two parts: the first, characterized by direct observation of non-participatory tools that implement digital repositories, as well as digital repositories already instantiated, and the second with scanning feature, which suggests an innovative model for repositories, with the use of structures of knowledge representation and user participation in building a vocabulary domain. The model suggested and proposed ─ Iterative Representation ─ will allow to tailor the digital repositories using Folksonomy and also controlled vocabulary of the field in order to generate a data layer iterative, which allows feedback information, and semantic retrieval of information, through the structural model designed for repositories. The suggested model resulted in the formulation of the thesis that through Iterative Representation it is possible to establish a process of semantic retrieval of information in digital repositories.

Because of the great metallurgical advances, the welded tubes by HF / ERW (High Frequency / Electrical Resistance Welding) have played a more active role in the oil and gas, gradually replacing tubes produced by other processes (UOE, SAW, and others) to deep water applications, in high and extremely low temperatures, highpressure conditions and in highly corrosive environments. However, studies have revealed that defects in the welded joints are in one of main causes of failures in pipelines. Associated with damage external and the stringent requirements of this sector, the welded joints become particularly critical for his toughness and the determination of this particular property is fundamental. This study aims to evaluate the toughness of the HF / ERW pipes in HSLA steel API X70 class, used in pipelines transport systems of gas and oil from data obtained with CTOD tests (Crack Tip Opening Displacement). The main objectives of this project are: mechanical and microstructural characterization of steels API X70 manufactured in Brazil; and evaluation of the toughness of weld process by HF / ERW steel API X70 national. After having the tests done, mechanical, chemical and metallurgical, we have the conclusion that those pipe are in agreement to API 5L 42ª edition for X70MO and the toughness behaves like the expected

In this work we investigate the dissociation of heteronuclear diatomic molecules subjected to laser pulses. This phenomenon can be modeled by the classical forced Morse oscillator. This system presents a chaotic dynamics associated with the anharmonicity of the internuclear potential and with the coupling of permanent dipole of molecule with the electric field of laser. We want to verify how the dissociation probability evolves while we change the intensity and frequency of laser. We study the phase space of molecules to have a better understanding of system dynamics. We make the calculations changing two parameters of laser (intensity and frequency) and checking how this parameters influences on molecule dissociation. We compare the results of HF molecule (Fluoride acid) and CO molecule (Carbon monoxide) to check how the dipole moment of each molecule can influence on laser interaction

Grande parte das florestas sofreu o processo de fragmentação em áreas de diversos tamanhos, próximas ou isoladas de outros fragmentos florestais. A diminuição do habitat original, o grau de isolamento, e as influencias das bordas e da matriz trouxeram uma série de conseqüências negativas para os animais. Entretanto, já foi observado que enquanto algumas espécies são extremamente prejudicadas, sendo muitas vezes levadas à ext inção, outras conseguem se beneficiar com a alteração ambiental. O objetivo do presente trabalho foi compilar os dados extraídos de levantamentos e disponíveis na literatura sobre riqueza e abundância de aves em ambientes afetados pela perturbação antrópica em contraste com aqueles realizados em florestas intactas, com a finalidade de responder à seguinte questão: quais são as famílias e guildas tróficas de aves que são prejudicadas ou beneficiadas pela perturbação e alteração do seu habitat? Para tanto foi realizado uma análise por meio de um ranking em ordem decrescente das famílias e guildas mais abundantes para as menos abundantes em cada área de estudo com a posterior aplicação do teste de Mann-Whitney. Foi perceptível que trabalhos com censos quantitativos são relativamente novos e ainda pouco explorados. A escassez de levantamentos quantitativos em praticamente todos os biomas com exceção da Mata Atlântica foi uma realidade com a qual a equipe se deparou. Logo, apenas foi possível realizar análises para os biomas Mata Atlântica e Cerrado. Verificou-se que um grande número de famílias se comporta de maneira diferente em áreas preservadas e perturbadas na Mata Atlântica e Cerrado (p<0,05). Porém, isto não significa que estas famílias estão sendo beneficiadas ou prejudicadas pela fragmentação, uma vez que não representam dados diretos de abundância, apenas pode-se comparar o nível de contribuição... Tricyclic antidepressants, such as amitriptyline, are inhibitors of serotonin and norepinephrine neuronal reuptake and this action has been implied in changes in pain threshold supporting its use to alleviate neuropathic pain. Although is known that 1 adrenoceptors participate in the antinociceptive effect of amitriptyline it is unclear which receptor subtype is the target for the increased synaptic levels of norepinephrine resultant from the inhibition of neuronal uptake. Paradoxically, several tricyclic antidepressants including amitriptyline also behave as antagonists of 1 adrenoceptors with different affinities for its subtypes: these drugs have 10 to 100-fold higher affinities for 1A than for 1B and 1D adrenoceptors. This work investigated the involvement of 1 adrenoceptors subtypes in the antinociceptive effect of the amitriptyline in a constriction of the sciatic nerve in rats by determining the effects of subtype selective 1 adrenoceptors antagonists. Fifteen days later, mechanical hyperalgesia was analyzed in a Randall-Selitto test. The 1A-selective antagonist RS100329 was the most potent antagonist of the contractions of the rat prostate, whereas the 1D-selective antagonist BMY 7378 (up to 100g/Kg) was unable to affect these contractions. The antagonist prazosin, BMY 7378 and 5-methyl urapidil inhibited the antinociceptive effect of the amitriptyline. However, the highly selective 1A adrenoceptor antagonist RS100329 was unable to affect the antinociception induced by amitriptyline. These results point out that 1B and/or 1D adrenoceptors, but not 1A, are involved in the antinociceptive effects of amitriptyline

Fuel cells are a very promising solution to the problems of power generation and emission of pollutant to the environment, excellent to be used in stationary application and mobile application too. The high cost of production of these devices, mainly due to the use of noble metals as anode, is a major obstacle to massive production and deployment of this technology, however the use of intermetallic phases of platinum combined with other metals less noble has been evaluated as electrodes in order to minimize production costs and still being able to significantly improve the catalytic performance of the anode. The study of intermetallic phases, exclusively done by experimental techniques is not complete and demand that other methods need to be applied to a deeper understanding of the behavior geometric properties and the electronic structure of the material, to this end the use of computer simulation methods, which have proved appropriate for a broader understanding of the geometric and electronic properties of the materials involved, so far not so well understood.. The use of computational methods provides answers to explain the behavior of the materials and allows assessing whether the intermetallic may be a good electrode. In this research project was used the Quantum-ESPRESSO package, based on the DFT theory, which provides the self-consistent field calculations with great precision, calculations of the periodic systems interatomic force, and other post-processing calculations that points to a knowledge of the geometric and electronic properties of materials, which may be related to other properties of them, even the electrocatalytic. The electronic structure is determined from the optimized geometric structure of materials by analyzing the density of states (DOS) projected onto atomic orbital, which determines the influence of the electrocatalytic properties of the material... This work aims to synthesize the manganese and zinc ferrite, by the polymeric precursor method, in order to obtain materials with appropriate characteristics for the application in medical diagnosis techniques. The manganese and zinc ferrite powders with the composition of Mn(1-x)ZnxFe2O4, where x=0,23, were prepared and calcined in air at different times and temperatures. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) data show that the sample calcined at 400°C crystallize as ferrite (monophase), but in an inverted spinel structure (high content of iron occupying manganese tetrahedral site and manganese occupying the iron octahedral site). The samples calcined at temperatures between 600°C and 900°C shows the secondary phase of hematite and the sample calcined at 1100oC shows to be monophase in ferrite with normal spinel structure. The monophase powders of ferrite showed a reduction in the surface area and an increasing in the pore size for higher calcination temperatures. The magnetic analysis show that the sample calcined at 400°C presents satisfactory magnetization at room temperature, however, it behaves as diamagnetic material at low temperatures (10K). The powder containing hematite, without the partial substitution of iron ions by manganese, showed to have low transition temperature, and consequently low magnetization at room temperature. The hematite, when partially substituted, provides materials with irregular magnetization at the saturation region. The powder calcined at 1100°C shows high magnetization either at room temperature or low temperature (10K)

This paper aims to investigate the behavior of the modal verb poder as an auxiliary verb in text written in both two Romance languages, Brazilian Portuguese and Iberian Spanish. This research follows a functionalist language approach, more precisely the Dutch Functional Grammar tradition, based on the modality classification proposed by Hengeveld (2004). This author considers two main criteria: target of evaluation, and semantic domain of evaluation. Considering this classification, we analyze the use of the auxiliary verb poder in a corpus of self-help discourses, which currently enjoy enormous popularity in various parts of the world. Although in Portuguese the auxiliary verb poder is essentially an epistemic modal (cf. Neves 1999-2000) —which, according to the Hengeveld (2004), corresponds to the event-oriented epistemic modality—. However, our analysis show that, given the essentially optimistic nature of the discourse analyzed, the self-help discourse, the previously mentioned modal verb (poder) behaves predominantly as a participant-oriented facultative modal. This result demonstrates the importance of considering the context of occurrence of the verb poder in order to evaluate the effects of meaning associated with its use.
