Fundamental motor skill proficiency is necessary for children's motor activity inclusion

Motor development is influenced by many factors such as practice and appropriate instruction, provided by teachers, even in preschool and elementary school. The goal of this paper was to discuss the misconception that maturation underlies children's motor skill development and to show that physical education, even in early years of our school system, is critical to promote proficiency and enrolment of children's in later motor activities. Motor skill development, as a curricular focus, has been marginalized in many of our physical education proposal and in doing so, we have not promote motor competence in our children who lack proficiency to engage and to participate in later motor activities such as sport-related or recreational.

Avaliação de língua portuguesa em provas escolares do século XX (1935 e 1963)

The article analyses three school exams of Elementary School, two belonging to a mother and one of her son, which were kept and provided to the researcher by the mother. The first two exams were dated March 30 and November 13, 1935 of the 3rd grade of Grupo Escolar Fernando Lobo in Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais. The third one was produced at Grupo Escolar Coronel Amâncio Bueno in Jaguariúna, São Paulo in March 28, 1963 in a 4th grade class. The analysed data all together point out school products which are the result of the relationship between teacher, student and school culture. School exams are as important documents as the notebooks in order to understand the school culture, and as this paper tries to indicate, they are the means for the insertion into the world of written culture. The methodology based on the microanalysis of these documents reveals records about the structure of the exams and the Brazilian school curriculum in the teaching of Portuguese as a mother tongue in 1935 e 1963.

A interferência da vergonha na iniciação esportiva

A escola compreende espaço privilegiado na transmissão-assimilação do saber elaborado, e para tanto adota atividades curriculares e extracurriculares. Assim, como as demais disciplinas que compõem o currículo escolar, a educação física desempenha uma função específica e integrante no processo de formação discente. Para tanto veicula conteúdos que lhes são muito próprios no âmbito da escola. No entanto, o que a realidade evidencia é que o desenvolvimento das atividades extracurriculares na Educação Básica fica em sua maioria a cargo do professor de educação física e o pior: ocupando muitas vezes o horário destinado à realização das aulas desta disciplina no decorrer do período escolar. Comprometendo desta maneira os conteúdos específicos desta disciplina. Este estudo buscou compreender a atuação do professor de educação física, face às atividades extracurriculares que perpassam o processo transmissãoassimilação na escola bem como as implicações que decorrem do atendimento por parte do professor das solicitações advindas pela escola na realização das atividades extracurriculares na escola, buscando identificar se os docentes estão preparados para lidar com suas próprias emoções e com as emoções advindas de seus alunos. A breve revisão de literatura feita proporcionou o estudo caracterizado como uma pesquisa qualitativa, utilizando pesquisas bibliográficas e entrevista semi-estruturada, com a análise interpretativa dos dados coletados. A delimitação do campo de investigações desta pesquisa se deu com a escolha de professores de educação física inseridos em escolas da rede estadual de ensino. O processo de construção do conhecimento de medida numa abordagem fenomenológica

This research presents an investigation on the subject: Quantities and Measurements. The research is dedicated to this subject due to its importance in the school curriculum, and adopts the use of history of mathematics and investigative duties in a manner that will enable the production of knowledge by the student. Following a phenomenological orientation, we conducted field work in a public school in Guaratinguetá, with students from the 6 th grade. The analyze of data of the research, undertaken in accordance with the understanding of the texts FINI (1994), MACHADO (1994), BICUDO (1993, 2000, 2011), understanding how students construct knowledge measures. The data from field work were obtained from images recorded on video, the researcher's field diary and notes of the students. The descriptions of the data, transformed into text, had been detached the strechs most revealing for what it searchs to understand. The understood meaning through the analysis, indicates two categories: measure is to express values and measure is to compare quantities. When interpreting the open categories we understand that the student builds knowledge of measurement making comparisons

A integração das tecnologias de informação e comunicação na escola: o projto político pedagógico nesse contexto

This study aims to analyze the possibilities of integration of new information and communication technologies (ICT) in teaching and learning in a school of public elementary school Municipal Araraquara. This is a survey based on a qualitative approach, which has a strategy Case Study. Made an analysis of the Curriculum Guidelines and Policy Project (PPP) school selected, in order to check how the school addresses the issue of the use of new technologies in the educational process. For the analysis of the Curriculum Guidelines and Educational Policy Project found that the school has studied a concern to make use of ICT in teaching and learning, featuring an awareness of the importance of technology in education, but does not describe ways to integrate curricularmente them. The integration of new technologies into the curriculum requires a systematic reflection about their goals, their technical and content chosen. Not only is working with new technologies aimed at digital inclusion of students, but we need to integrate the school into their curricular, integrate them into the process of teaching and learning. Today ICT configure themselves into a new form of language, essential for knowledge representation and, if so, their presence in the school curriculum is crucial.
