Esverdeando a manufatura: dos fundamentos conceituais ao estudo de múltiplos casos

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the integration of environmental issues in the context of manufacturing function/production (or operations), which is considered the organizational area that should lead corporate environmental management. We present a background on the greening of the manufacturing area, especially in terms of product development, process, quality management and logistics. Four case studies of Brazilian companies are presented as part of the study, and it is found that the maturity level of these companies' environmental management tends to follow the degree to which the environment has been inserted into subareas of production, especially in the process of product development. However, difficulties encountered in greening a company's logistics activities are also recognized in most cases. It is concluded that companies can overcome this challenge by adopting new concepts of green supply chain management. The notes highlight the observed distance between arguments in the international literature and the reality of Brazilian companies on the greening of manufacturing aspects.

O tratamento do conteúdo informacional da fotografia na Arquivística: algumas reflexões

In the contemporary society, the recurring preoccupation about the effective use and appropriation of information has forced a progressive maturing of Information Science and its extention to new fields of study. In archival management, some gaps can be found concerning the treatment of photographs that have not been solved either theoretically or methodologically. This study approaches one of these gaps: the one related to the processing of the informational content of the photographic documents in archives. After a literature review, several recommendations are proposed regarding the identification, organization, representation, retrieval and access to the informational content of photographs in archives.

Infância, família e escola: análise dos significados da Infância e dos Direitos da Criança

This study aimed at analyzing the meanings of Children and Child Rights awarded by the kindergarten children and their educators, parents and teacher. Interest in the subject arose from the participation of the University Extension Project, conducted at the Department of Education, UNESP, Bauru, called The Rights of the Child: ECA in school. Since then, the question arose: to what extent we have visibility of meanings that educators and the child has on the Rights of the Child relating to the specifics of childhood? The research followed the tenets of qualitative research, methodological procedures and adopting the observation in a classroom from kindergarten (K II), semi-structured interview through leisure moments, with the class of aged five years and a questionnaire for family and teacher. The research adopted as reference material, studies of the area of Sociology of Childhood, History of Childhood, Public Policy, Legislation Related to the theme, and an overview of psychogenic to talk about the morality of children. The results showed that parents and caregivers understand childhood as a stage of child development, marked by jokes and fancies, in which the family and the school has an important role in this process. In what concerns the children's rights, there are contradictions in the legal aspects and the situation of children today. The results showed that children's childhood is characterized by recreational activities, and adults are responsible for caring for them. And it comes on the Rights of the Child noted that there is a confusion between rights and duties because they are in a phase of moral heteronomy. The findings indicate the need for wide dissemination on the Statute of Children and Adolescents, especially in preschools in line with families to practice it a new look at childhood, conceiving children as subjects... Políticas Públicas de Resíduos Sólidos e a Coleta Seletiva em Regente Feijó - SP

This research was mainly focused on public policy analysis of solid waste, and the National Policy and State Solid Waste, as well as determining the performance of the Blue Green Municipality strategic project in relation to the management of municipal solid waste in Regente Feijó, São Paulo. The objective of this research was to analysis of the consequences of the deployment project of selective collection and integration of recyclable material collectors in an association of collectors, called the Association of Recyclable Material Collectors Rock, held in the city from the year 2008, with effective implementation in 2010. We analyzed the actions of the municipal government since the implementation of selective collection, to the development of the Association. The methodology used was literature concerning the issue; routine field surveys to monitor the activities in the landfill and association of collectors, collecting data from questionnaires appropriate to the research topic. We sought to examine old and new forms of urban solid waste management, the evolution of the historical process of this issue in the city and its social and environmental impacts, and the collectors the main social actors in this process. The complexity that addresses this issue was dealt with in this dynamic study, analyzing all parts involved
