Organizations, in turn, also are not out of context and begin to feel the impacts of such changes. Perform a reflection on the current situation and the practices and functions of public relations is fundamental to that in the midst of many technological innovations, do not ignore the essence of humanistic profession

O papel do profissional de Relações Públicas na gestão com governança corporativa

This research has the finality to search for the Public Relations professional valorization considering new ways of business acting. So it addresses how would be the performance of this professional in a management with Corporate Governance. This way different kinds of references were researched specially business aspects, definitions and history of the public relations, corporate governance, communication and complexity in the organizations. Atratividade da carreira docente no curso de licenciatura em pedagogia: dilemas, escolhas e inserção profissional

Escolher uma profissão e pensar sobre a inserção no mundo do trabalho tem se tornado tarefa cada vez mais difícil para os jovens. Vários são os fatores que podem influenciar na decisão como: as características pessoais, habilidades específicas em determinada área, o contexto histórico e o ambiente sociocultural em que o indivíduo vive, entre outros (GATTI, 2009). A decisão de uma profissão irá influenciar de forma direta ou indireta sua vida financeira, pessoal, familiar, entre outras áreas. (SANTOS, 2005). Dentre as diversas profissões existentes, no presente trabalho destacaremos a carreira docente, tendo como objetivos: 1. Investigar junto aos alunos do curso de Pedagogia da UNESP de Rio Claro as razões para a escolha da docência como profissão e; 2. Identificar no âmbito desse curso os dilemas e as perspectivas que são apontadas por esses estudantes no universo de sua formação e futura profissão. Optamos pela pesquisa qualitativa, tendo como paradigma o construtivismo social, pois parte-se do pressuposto de que as pessoas agem em função de seus valores, crenças, sentimentos e percepções. Na coleta de dados utilizamos como instrumentos o questionário, a entrevista semiestruturada e análise de conteúdo no tratamento dos dados, tendo como participantes 60 estudantes de Pedagogia na aplicação do questionário e 12 participantes escolhidos para a entrevista, sendo três discentes de cada ano). Entre os resultados encontrados observamos a forte influência que a família, os professores e a escola desempenham no jovem que está em processo de decisão profissional. Em relação a escolha do curso de Pedagogia, vimos que a motivação principal apontada pelos estudantes ficou no campo da satisfação pessoal, o gostar da profissão/área da educação apesar dos autores apontarem a docência como sendo pouco atrativa pelos jovens por diversos fatores... Discurso e motivação: um estudo semiótico sobre livros de autoajuda de desenvolvimento profissional

The success and recognition for their dedication put into the work are the need of every worker, and for that there is a constant quest for success in organizations. In this scenario, the Brazilian publishing market offers self-help literature as a practical method of acquiring the fundamental knowledge for professional development. The self-help literature for professional development addresses motivation as an essential characteristic for success, as a motivated worker earns more visibility and prominence to motivate other team members, thus arousing a spirit of leadership among the players. The motivation of workers also meets the expectations of organizations, because they improve productivity without requiring new investments. Thus, the literature on professional development is positioned as one of the best selling literary styles sold in Brazil over the years. To have an understanding of the discourse of literary style and persuasive methods known in them, we present a semiotic analysis of the five introductory chapters of selected works. Greimassian Semiotics offers great tools for understanding the introductory speeches of professional development books, which are intended to present the synthesis of the work, or demonstrate the values and knowledge of the authors, coaxing the reader to read on and be receptive to the idea of motivation presented in the books

Formação de professores: uma breve reflexão sobre as razões da escolha profissional

This text, supported by the Social Representations Theory (SRT), reports some results of a research with students from the 1st/4th years of the College of Sciences and Technology from the State University of São Paulo (FCT-Unesp) on the teacher’s work/identity. We applied 278 questionnaires (free association questions on the teacher’s work and profile). Two groups with former students (five with teaching degrees and four with degrees in Education) were organized. We analyzed issues regarding the choice for the teaching profession (Geography - 3; Math - 04; Physical Education - 01 and Pedagogy – 10). Partial results: 1. There are differences between the social representations of students enrolled in Teaching and Education courses; 2. These people say the profession requires dedication and commitment; 3. They establish a strong relationship between career choice and the “taste” for the profession; 4. They believe that their role is greatly challenging: it involves helping prospective students and commitment to the school.

Gestão no futebol: os quatro grandes times do estado de São Paulo

This research aims to identify elements that show how management influences and is present in modern Brazilian soccer, the competition and rivalry between the soccer teams, especially in the state of São Paulo, have increased considerably and consequently causing the search for efficiency to advance even more. The research was based on how close a relationship between management and soccer could influence it. Is the management so significant for the outcome of soccer match? The clubs with the best results are always those who apply best management models? Data that enabled the determination of financial indicators was collected from those who are considered the four major clubs in the state of São Paulo (SC Corinthians Paulista, SE Palmeiras, Santos FC and São Paulo FC ). With the data, the indicators and events that occurred with the clubs in the period 2010-2012, it was possible to demonstrate the influence of management in soccer, both good and bad, and see that even with the immediate results that soccer requires, managers should invest in some long-term measures to improve the structure of the clubs they represent
