A presença da interculturalidade em livros didáticos de espanhol língua estrangeira

O presente trabalho tem por objetivo principal a análise da interculturalidade em uma coleção de livros didáticos de ensino da língua espanhola selecionados pelo Programa Nacional do Livro Didático (PNLD), este voltado à distribuição dos livros em escolas de ensino público. Apresenta-se, inicialmente, um breve histórico da inserção do ensino de língua estrangeira no Brasil, que progride na tentativa de que os alunos compreendam a magnitude de aprender uma língua de caráter estrangeiro, uma nova língua. Além disso, elucidou-se sobre o ensino do espanhol na sala de aula, a fim de salientar a importância do ensino da língua estrangeira, apresentando em seguida a história e implicações do Programa Nacional do Livro Didático. Logo, foi aclarada a questão da interculturalidade no ensino, ou seja, os aspectos culturais de diversos países aplicados na educação do estudante com o intuito de demonstrar a magnificência de discernimento e aprendizagem das perspectivas culturais ao redor do mundo, e desse modo, possibilitando a compreensão da análise proposta neste trabalho. Foi utilizado como objeto de estudo e análise o livro didático El arte de leer español, de Deise Cristina de Lima Picanço e Terumi Koto Bonnet Villalba, que possui três volumes voltados ao ensino médio. O uso social da leitura e as práticas pedagógicas em sala de aula: construção de conhecimentos e formação de leitores

This research aimed at studying the social role of reading, its importance in building knowledge and training of readers, as well as reflect on the teaching of reading in schools, with children in the literacy process. For their achievement, were used as theoretical support authors who are dedicated to the study of language, thematic reading, and phenomena that occur through it in the school environment, especially those of Bakhtin, Kleiman, Chartier, Foucambert, among others . The research was carried out using the approach of qualitative research, using participatory action research, through which the researcher could have direct contact with the observed phenomena, to participate and collect the participants' actions in its natural context, the from their perspective and their views. As for collecting and analyzing data, we used the tools of questionnaire, interview and participant observation. Its subjects a literacy class and their respective teacher, in 2009. By analyzing this information, one can draw a picture of reading in the school environment and teaching practices that surround this object. The results of the literature survey and data analysis suggest that reading is a social practice, and as such has indispensable social function in society today. And the school, one of the greatest instruments of contact with the world of letters, therefore, of reading for children means not literate, have key role in developing and training of readers who are aware of the importance of reading and perpetuate this practice in their daily lives. Vigilância à saúde da criança na perspectiva dos enfermeiros da estratégia saúde da família

This qualitative study aimed at apprehending conceptualizations and at describing experiences of nurses working in the Family Health Strategy in a medium-sized city in São Paulo state in relation to Children’s Health Surveillance, with a special focus on nursing consultation. Data were collected from 12 nurses by means of recorded semi-structured interviews that were analyzed according to the Thematic Content Analysis Method. Results were systematized into four themes: Conceptualizations about Children’s Health Surveillance; Children’s Health Surveillance in the practice of the Family Health Strategy; Nursing consultation and Children’s Health Surveillance; Proposals to qualify Children’s Health Surveillance in the realm of the Family Health Strategy. It was possible to apprehend amplified and actual conceptualizations of Children’s Health Surveillance as well as to describe experiences surrounded by difficulties to incorporate the premises of this form of Children’s Health Care in the Family Health Strategy. Nursing consultation was noteworthy as a privileged moment, but not unique, to develop such practice. Finally, based on nurses’ proposals, the importance of triggering permanent education processes targeted at these themes in family-health services was considered

As interfaces entre linguagens audiovisuais e práticas pedagógicas em História e Geografia: experiências, possibilidades e limites no curta metragem como uma outra compreensão do local e do vivido

Specifically in the teaching practices of History and Geography notes a concern with the construction of school knowledge based on observance of categories such as 'everyday' and 'place', which emphasize a look intensively focused on the local context of the students - element (res) significance, situated in time and space, the representations and actions of individuals, the (re) defining their identities (individual and / or collective) and rights to citizenship. However, both educators in history, as in geography, should be alert to some limits of a strictly pedagogical 'localist'. When it comes to use of language technology audiovisual in line with the pedagogical existing in “PCN's” history and geography, one must keep in mind that not just resize the movie to local level (whether in the classroom or outside), or elect the 'localism' as the new panacea of a certain 'pedagogy' of audiovisual language. With the desire to promote the development of new methods of teaching history and geography is that we designed a research project. This is creating opportunity with the possibility of graduating videos reflect on the teaching of history and geography, according to the use of a new technological language and art (cinema), the association with the reality of the students (hence the site survey and urban) as well as the promotion of an active and critical dialogue with the PCNs’s recommendations.

Competences in the classroom in the perspectives of foreign language teachers

In this article we raise some considerations about teachers’ competences, from the perspective of teachers in the Brazilian public sector. The theoretical framework includes articles by Paulo Freire (2001), Philippe Perrenoud (2012), Edgar Morin (2003) and Maurice Tardif (2002) and, based on these authors, we reflect upon issues concerning teachers’ competences taking answers provided by the Brazilian language teachers as a departing point. In a teachers’ course, followed by the same teachers, we posed the main question in our study: Which competences are necessary for a teacher to be considered a good professional at present? From the answers given individually and group discussions we proceeded to a comparative analysis with the adopted framework, and other issues concerning teachers’ competences were considered as well. All the participants mentioned the same two competences, the use of technology and sound knowledge of the course content, and other competences were pointed out by the various teachers as well. Such procedure, besides providing data for our study, also helped as a self-reflexive activity for the teachers involved, about their own professional performance. Given the issues raised in the theoretical texts and the answers provided by the teachers, we expect to revisit the competences necessary for foreign language teacher efficient performance.

What does research say about the Special and General Relativity Theory Teaching?

Na literatura da área de Ensino de Física encontramos diversos argumentos em defesa da inclusão, nos currículos escolares do Ensino Médio, de conteúdos de Física Moderna e Contemporânea. A Teoria da Relatividade Especial e Geral (ao lado da Mecânica Quântica) é um dos pilares da Física Moderna. Consideramos significativo e oportuno obter um panorama da produção acadêmica sobre o ensino e aprendizagem deste tópico. Trajetória social de alunos de um curso pré-vestibular popular

The aim of the research that originated this article was the analysis of the social trajectory of students from a public preparatory course and the verification of their expectations about higher education. Data collection was based on a questionnaire with open and closed-ended questions and a semi-structured interview, based on the models used by Muzzetti (1997). Data were analyzed by the elaboration of thematic charts. Based on the researches conducted by Pierre Bourdieu (1997, 2007), this research concluded that the students understand that schooling is, besides being a viable alternative in the search for social ascension, the redeeming of social ills. Profession choice based on natural talent or divine gift generate expectations which attest the lack of knowledge about the school system by students and their parents, which is reinforced by the belief in opportunity equality.

A prostituição viril na ótica de um profissional do sexo

O fenômeno da prostituição não se configura como uma classe homogênea de comportamentos e/ou identidades sexuais e de gênero. Este estudo de caso, qualitativo-descritivo, teve por objetivo geral investigar as concepções sobre a prostituição sob o ponto de vista de quem realiza os programas. Os relatos de um profissional do sexo foram obtidos por meio de entrevista e foram agrupados nas seguintes categorias temáticas: (1) Construção identitária e relações familiares, (2) Caracterização sobre a atividade da prostituição e (3) Aspectos sociais: reflexos do estigma e do preconceito. A análise evidencia uma relação conflituosa e ambivalente entre machismo, homofobia e construção da masculinidade na atividade da prostituição viril que se revela, na sociedade machista, circunscrita a um território recoberto pela vergonha, preconceito e homofobia.

Relações conjugais na literatura de Tostói: análise de duas obras

Existem representações sociais diversas sobre padrões definidores de normalidade que direcionam o erotismo humano, incluindo aí concepções sobre casamento e relacionamento conjugal. A literatura pode ser um modo de evidenciar esses padrões, por isso, este estudo qualitativo, tipo documental, teve por objetivo analisar a temática das relações conjugais em duas obras do autor russo Lev Tolstói: “Felicidade Conjugal” e “A Sonata a Kreutzer”. A partir da análise de conteúdo, os resultados discutem as seguintes categorias: 1) A relação conjugal como sinônimo de posse; 2) O desejo sexual como mercadoria, 3) Enamoramento e Amor e 4) Casamento e Fidelidade e 5) Relacionamento e gênero. Nas duas narrativas as dificuldades nos relacionamentos conjugais são apresentadas de modo a explicitar o enamoramento e o cotidiano tendo como pano de fundo as relações de posse entre as pessoas; a crítica evidente diz respeito ao principio de individuação, que tem como base a propriedade privada, inclusive nos relacionamentos amorosos e sexuais. Conclui-se que a análise dessas obras de Tolstói contribui para refletir sobre como os relacionamentos conjugais se configuram também na atualidade; além disso, ressalta-se que a literatura é um instrumento interessante para problematizar e refletir certos padrões de conduta em sexualidade e que poderia ser usada em propostas intencionais de educação sexual.
