The biomagnetic techniques use different magnetic field detectors to measure parameters of the human physiology. Those techniques present the advantage of being noninvasive and radiation free. Among them we can show up the Superconducting Quantum Interference Device (SQUID), the Current Alternate Biosusceptometry (ACB) and, more recently, the employment of anisotropic magnetoresistive sensors. Those magnetic sensors have a low cost and good sensitivity to measure different physiological parameters using magnetic markers. The biomagnetic techniques have being used successfully through study on the characteristics of the gastrointestinal tract. Recent research, the magnetoresistors were used to evaluate the transit time and localization of magnetic sources in different parts of the gastrointestinal tract. The objective of this work is the characterization, with in vitro tests, of a biomagnetic instrumentation using two 3-axis magnetoresistors arranged in a gradiometric coplanar setup to evaluate esophageal transit time, analyze and compare the results of experimental signals and the magnetic theory, as well as evaluate the instrumentation gain with use of tri-axial sensor front to the mono-axial sensor. The instrumentation is composed by two three-axis sensing magnetometers, precision power supply and amplifier electronic circuits. The sensors fixed in a coplanar setup were separate by distance of 18 cm. The sensitivity tests had been carried through using a cylindrical magnet (ø = 4 mm and h = 4 mm) of neodymium-iron-boron (grid 35). O rápido crescimento do mercado de dispositivos eletrônicos portáteis, com aplicações em diferentes áreas (telecomunicações, medicina, engenharia), criou uma grande demanda por fontes de potência compactas leves e, sobretudo, de baixo custo. Essa demanda levou ao desenvolvimento de tecnologia de filmes finos nanoestruturados para a obtenção de componentes eletroeletrônicos, por exemplo, memórias de computador. Estes dispositivos são empregados em “notebooks”, circuitos integrados, telefones celulares. O estudo de cristalização de filmes finos ferroelétricos nanoestruturados será feito através da cristalização induzida por rotas convencionais tal como cristalização em forno mufla. A modulação entre os diferentes cátions (Pb, Ca e Ba) para formar o sistema Pb1-x(Ca,Ba)xTiO3 serão analisadas, visando obter filmes com propriedades compatíveis para uso em memórias ferroelétricas. Para isso, os filmes finos serão depositados em substratos adequados controlando-se a homogeneidade química, a microestrutura e a interação filme-substrato

This work has the aim of evince compositional tools used in the development of musical scores for role-playing videogames through the analysis of Yasunori Mitsuda’s music for Chrono Cross (1999). This research is divided in two main parts: the first traces a historic path of the RPG genre on videogame consoles, since its birth as a tabletop game in the decade of 1970 until its consolidation on 3D game machines released in the 1990’s. The focus of this historical study concentrates on the aesthetics of this kind of game and on the multiple relations it settles with sound throughout the years. The second part is an analytical work on an assortment of pieces by Mitsuda for the aforementioned game, bringing up the most interesting aspects of the connections established between these compositions and the whole game.

CurtaBauru (www.curtabauru.com.br) is a journalistc website which specializes on the covering of local art and culture. The idea came up from the three author's interest in Bauru's cultural scene and also from the scarcity of local media about the subject. The website was opened in the end of August 2012, and its archives include journalistic covering of some major events such as Revirada Cultural 2012, Festival Canja de Artes Integradas and Encontro de Academias de Letras e Entidades Afins. Besides that, the website is updated daily with articles about coming up events, and includes weekly sections about people and organizations related to the city's artistic scene, restaurant criticism and an agenda containing the main events of the following week

Cosmic radiation has been identi ed as one of the main hazard to crew, aircraft and sensitive equipments involved in long-term missions and even high-altitude commercial ights. Generally, shields are used in spatial units to avoid excessive exposure, by holding the incident radiation. Unfortunatelly, shielding in space is problematic, especially when high-energy cosmic particles are considered, due to the production of large number of secondary particles, mainly neutrons, protons and alpha particles, caused by spallation reactions and quasi-elastic processes of the corpuscular radiation with the shield. Good parameters for checking the secondary particle production at target material are diferential cross section and energy deposited in the shield. Addition experiments, some computer codes based on Monte Carlo method show themselves a suitable tool to calculate shield parameters, due to have evaluated nuclear data libraries implemented on the algorithm. In view of this, the aim of this work is determining the parameters evaluated in shielding materials, by using MCNPX code, who shows good agreement with experimental data from literature. The applications market is heated and has grown in the recent years, every day thousands of apps are downloaded and many of these are electronic games and are intended for smartphones and tablets. The electronic games are often integrated with an online system which has the function of providing extra functionality to the players. This project proposes the development of online support system to a game designed for mobile devices, consisting of a website and a database which has the function of storing data online beyond a system called the back end which has the function to integrate all the modules mentioned previously

A vaginose bacteriana (VB) é a alteração de flora vaginal mais freqüente em mulheres em idade fértil e se caracteriza pela substituição dos lactobacilos por outras espécies bacterianas. Inúmeras complicações ginecológicas e obstétricas estão associadas à VB, como a doença inflamatória pélvica, o aumento da vulnerabilidade à aquisição do HIV, a corioamnionite clínica e histológica e o baixo peso ao nascimento. Estudos recentes demonstraram que várias espécies até então raramente ou nunca isoladas em laboratório são associadas à VB. O Objetivo desse estudo foi avaliar a freqüência de isolamento de Atopobium vaginae, Leptotrichia sp. e Megasphaera sp. em gestantes com vaginose bacteriana. Foi realizado um estudo de corte transversal prospectivo. Foram incluídas no estudo 88 gestantes com diagnóstico de VB, atendidas no Centro de Saúde Escola da UNESP no período de janeiro a setembro de 2010. Durante o exame especular e utilizando-se zaragatoas estéreis, foram coletadas amostras da parede vaginal para a confecção dos esfregaços vaginais em lâminas. O exame a fresco foi utilizado para o diagnóstico de vaginite aeróbia, de acordo com os critérios descritos por Donders et al. (2002). Os esfregaços vaginais corados pelo método de Gram, foram utilizados para o diagnóstico de flora normal, intermediária e VB de acordo com os critérios de Nugent et al. (1991). Em seguida, 5 mL de solução fisiológica foi injetada com seringa estéril na parede vaginal posterior, e após homogeneização dessa solução com o auxílio de espátula, o conteúdo foi coletado. Os lavados vaginais coletados foram centrifugados e os pellets armazenados para posterior detecção de Atopobium vaginae, Leptotrichia sp. e Megasphaera sp. pela técnica de PCR em tempo real. This work aims to investigate more deeply the concept of Newsgame in order to map essencial features for this new type of media product. Based on several examples, we will analyze the different ways in which a game can behave journalistically. We shall seek the author who coined the term “newsgame”, Gonzalo Frasca, and other international authors, based or not on the first, that attempt to point out limits for these electronic games that aspire Journalism. Some models are harsh, while others are more embracing, but all are intended to achieve a new paradigm in communication that releases itself from static representation stemmed from analog media and ventures into the potential of simulation brought from the digital platform. Examples of newsgames and its theories set forth herein also include Brazilian cases, which we will try to prove to be the most laymen on the subject

The increasing amount of information about public management conveyed by government electronic portals in the internet has attracted the attention of scientific research, which has resulted in reviews of the contribution of such channels of public communication for the expansion of citizenship. It is the duty of the government to inform citizens effectively as well as using effective language to deal with different ways of relating with each public. Based on data collected in the official social media of state government during search for Scientific Initiation PIBIC/CNPq entitled “Digital Democracy and Social Networks: Analysis of Use of Internet by the Government of State of Sao Paulo” and official strategic manuals of the first industry this work of course completion has analyzed practices and recommendations of the area to contribute to the development of strategies of public communication
