Itinerários do Grupo de Estudo e Pesquisa em Etnomatemática e sua Relação com a Educação Matemática

This paper outlines the formation, dynamics and some of the paths taken by the Research and Study Group on Ethnomathematics and its relationship with the Graduation Program in Mathematics Education, presenting a history of its formation, its knowing, its doing and its way of being together, and presenting an overview of the research carried out by its members. This paper also addresses the relationship between the group itself with themes within ethnomathematics, highlighting that the group is a space for collective education and cooperative self-education, which takes place through exchange of experiences, sharing of knowledge and in debates and discussions, from being in a group, respecting the reciprocity and valuing alterity, key aspects of ethnomathematics education.

This article analyses the constitutions of the Philosophy of Education’s field in Brazil, from 1990 to the present day, with the purpose of analyzing the genealogy of his “crisis” as a discipline, discussing the dilemmas of its development and to indicate their main challenges today. For such purposes, by means of a genealogical method, we analyze the conceptions of philosophy of education drawn from the theoretical perspective, as well as rebuild historically the clashes caused about certain topics and, particularly, about the human formation. We conclude that the thematic shifts produced and the proliferation of those perspectives were responsible for producing lands to the dialogue between them, however, this strategy does not alleviate some problems of Philosophy of Education in Brazil, demonstrating the presence of two philosophical traditions in the current debate and demanding position of those who work in this field of research and teaching in relation to them.

A formação do professor reflexivo no periódico Educação e Pesquisa - 1984 a 2010

Este estudo teve como objetivo compreender a formação docente na perspectiva do professor reflexivo, buscando averiguar nesse processo temas emergentes vinculados ao periódico Educação e Pesquisa, fonte de coleta de dados. Neste itinerário optamos pela pesquisa qualitativa, do tipo descritivo, escolhendo como técnica para a coleta de dados a fonte documental, seguida de análise documental. Entre os resultados coletados na revista, periódico de 1975 a 2010, apontaram-se como significativos os eixos reflexão, saberes, identidade e profissionalização docente, prática pedagógica, formação inicial e formação continuada. Neste contexto observou-se que as pesquisas de ênfase critico reflexiva vem contribuindo teoricamente para a disseminação do conceito da formação reflexiva inicial e continuada de professores que buscam por meio desta perspectiva o desenvolvimento profissional e o reconhecimento como produtores de conhecimento na área que atuam. Outras questões observadas assinalaram para a compreensão da formação reflexiva como uma concepção que pode auxiliar o docente no processo de reconhecimento da sua identidade profissional marcada pela influência direta da cultura da qual os docentes estão inseridos. Nesta direção foi também identificado que as tomadas de decisões no âmbito escolar, dentro e fora da sala de aula, requerem do docente a mobilização de saberes que vão além da teoria aprendida nos anos de formação acadêmica, buscando auxilio nas vivências pré-profissionais para a elaboração dos saberes docentes. Porém, elucidou-se que os docentes reflexivos e investigadores da sua própria prática tendem a ser favorecidos por este tipo de prática, podendo provocar inovações na educação e em seu próprio desenvolvimento profissional. Informatização na educação em saúde: avaliação de site educacional

Health education presently experiences the incorporation of information technology, thus making access to information more practical and attainable. The initiatives to make health care scientific content available virtually have shown to be useful for teaching, health care professionals and the general population. A website, however, must be constantly managed. To promote the dissemination of the website at www.educacaoemsaude.fmb.unesp.br among faculty members and undergraduate nursing students and students at Escola Técnica de Enfermagem (Vocational Nursing School) - ETE, by evaluating, among them, its graphic and functional aspects and seeking suggestions for its improvement. This is a descriptive quantitative study for which the participants were asked to fill out an instrument designed for the study. The evaluation was performed among nursing faculty members and students at Univ Estadual Paulista Júlio Mesquita Filho – UNESP and students at Escola Técnica de Enfermagem (Vocational Nursing School) – ETEC in the city of Botucatu. The number of participants totaled 88 individuals, of whom 23 were undergraduate students, 62 were students at ETEC, and 3 were faculty members. Eighty-one were females, and 7 were males. The participants’ age ranged from 17 to 56 years. Among the items that evaluated the website, the answers prevailed from “very good” to “good”. When the participants were asked what they had thought about the website, the answers were mostly positive, and the most frequently description given was “interesting”. Among the facilities, the most frequently reported was “easily understood content”, and as regards difficulties, handling the website was the most often mentioned.
