Variabilidade da frequência cardíaca como recurso em fisioterapia: análise de periódicos nacionais

INTRODUCTION: The autonomic nervous system (ANS) could be investigated in a noninvasive way by the heart rate variability analysis (HRV) which has contributed to several health areas such as physiotherapy. OBJECTIVE: To gather information regarding the use of HRV on physiotherapy aims at providing an update of the findings for the area on journals of national circulation. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The journals of national circulation classified as greater than B2 or B2 and with free access and complete texts in some internet sites were searched on 21 area WebQualis resulting on selection of Revista Brasileira de Fisioterapia, Fisioterapia e Pesquisa and Fisioterapia em Movimento using the keywords: autonomic nervous system, sympathetic nervous system, physiotherapy and heart rate variability. RESULTS: The search resulted in 19 articles being 17 clinical trials and two case reports. CONCLUSION: The HRV has been used as a resource of interventions evaluation, as pathological conditions common to clinical practice investigation and to physiological conditions interpretation in physiotherapy. The HRV is principally used to the cardiorespiratory specialty of physiotherapy.

A distorção do conceito de economia no jornal Folha de São Paulo

The work aims to analyse the concept of economics as the science of scarcity is distorced in the newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo. Neoclassical economists characterize the economy as the science that is concerned with the welfare of the people, satisfying their needs. However, the economy in the newspapers of the mainstream media appears in contexts where only the profit of companies and businesses are addressed, leaving aside the problem of economic inequality, unemployment, working conditions and other issues that are also part of economy, but they are hardly concerns of journalists. In this work, the object of study was the notebook Market and content analysis followed the criteria of Bardin (1977). Ten words were chosen in the category science of scarcity and ten words were chosen in the category science of abundance. From these categories, a careful reading was done, counting how many times each word appeared in the newspaper. Also paid attention to the words that appeared and contexts in which they fell journalistic genre. In a second step, interviews were conducted with journalists from economics to know what they mean by the economy and what the guidelines are more common. Data collection and interviews contributed to the interpretation and confirmation on whether or not the distortion of the concept of economy and how it happens

A Presença da alteridade nos discursos sobre a literatura marginal em blogs: uma análise dialógica

O presente trabalho toma como objeto de estudo o discurso sobre a literatura marginal em blogs. A literatura marginal é um movimento literário que tem como tema central o relato da própria experiência de sobreviver nos espaços marginais e marginalizados da sociedade brasileira contemporânea. A vida na periferia, lugar este pouco representado pela literatura canônica, passa a ser extensão do que se escreve, deste modo, o autor assume de forma concreta seus distintivos traços artísticos, culturais e sociais. Tendo em vista a internet como instrumento de “democratização” da prática e do uso da palavra escrita, por conta da heterogeneidade dos discursos veiculados, a literatura marginal contemporânea encontra, neste espaço, a possibilidade para expor e divulgar seus discursos carregados de traços distintivos de hibridismo, contraditoriedade, além de propagar, por meio da linguagem coloquial, sua temática que possui um caráter coletivo e representa uma específica realidade brasileira. Nos blogs, mais especificamente, os escritores de literatura marginal encontram um espaço de divulgação de textos inéditos e de suas obras. Para a realização do estudo proposto, foram feitas considerações gerais sobre os blogs pesquisados, segundo uma abordagem dialógica do material de pesquisa. O corpus compõe-se de blogs de sujeitos que têm alguma relação com a literatura marginal contemporânea: o blog da editora literatura marginal (editoraliteraturamarginal.blogspot.com.br) e os blogs pessoais dos escritores Ferréz (ferrez.blogspot.com.br) e Sérgio Vaz (colecionadordepedras1.blogspot.com.br). Para a descrição/análise dos dados, foi feito um estudo bibliográfico de escritos bakhtinianos, que embasam teoricamente a pesquisa. Poesia visual e poética postal

Ce travail cherche montrer quelques caractéristiques de la Poésie Visuel, expresion artistique qui melange le langage verbal et le langage visuel à tel point qu´on ne peut pas afirmer une classification appuyée sur les genres traditionnels. Aprés une curte presentation des chemins et des points polémiques de cette esthétique, on analyse comme exemple deux compositions sorties de le grand réseau de communication de l´Art Postal qui est né les années soixante et survit aujourd´hui avec intensité. L´Art Postal a une structure fondé sur la simultanéité de l´information que ressamble à la forme de la poésie visuel. Cettes compositions contemporaines sont confrontées à la tradition du poème visuel qui commence peut-être à l´époque des premiers écrits de hiéroglyphe. Elles sont analysées, donc, dans son originalité. A partir des analyses realisées dans le but de révéler les significations, on arrive à la question proposé par Wilcon Joia Pereira : la nécessité de se comprendre d´une façon nouvelle les expériences esthétiques oú les mots deviennent des images

As entrelinhas dos contos de fadas: ponte para eternizar ideologias

Literature has a role to contribute in the affective, cultural and cognitive development os chindren and it also accumulates the function to form readers among others. Among several genres, there are the fairy tales that are eternal in the western culture and they are the first genres to be read spontaneously at home or to be taught at school. As all the symbolic language, the fairy tales are steeped in ideologies. Thus, the aim of this research is to investigate if the existing ideologies in two fairy tales – Cinderella and The Sleeping Beauty, both from Perrault, influence children between 9 and 10 years old as subjects. An empiric research of quantitative and qualitative approach was done and its data analysis followed the method of Content Analysis, and it has as register analysis unit the word, and of context the sentence (children’s answer). The choice os the classify the categories it was used the syntactic criteria because it’s the most appropriate to refer to register units from ideologies identified by scholars in the area. The results show that children with 9 and 10 years old are influenced by implied ideologies existing in the two fairy tales used in the process of data collection

Atualização do conceito de qualidade na construção civil

The quality control is of great importance for the development of any organization, mainly for providing an assurance of delivering high quality services and goods for the consumers. Quality can be defined by the word „change‟, for the company which intends to implement a quality control system must be open to changes. This can be noticed from the JURAN concept (1992 In SILVEIRA ET AL., 2002): “Quality is to fit for usage”, i.e., depending on the goal, the situation and the consumer, quality is seen in different ways, since each one has different wishes and opinions. Taking in to account the availability of means such as norms, theories and tools, that contribute for an efficient quality management system, this discrepancy of opinions and the lack of objectivity of this concept can be solved, since through the analyzes of these means one can set quality standards, i.e., market references which fulfill both consumers and builders demands. Thus, the quality concept ceases to be something so abstract, non-measurable, to become a more objective concept. Finally, the goal of this work is to analyze the quality concept through bibliographic studies and possible consumers‟ enquires, aiming at the building industry, and show how the quality, often taken as something abstract, can be a measurable and objective concept, that benefits both the consumer as well as the enterprise of this branch
