Based on the relationship between the concept of Historical Consciousness, as Jrn Rsen and Reinhart Koselleck proposed, and the concept of Historical Explanation, proposed by Isabel Barca, the article presents an analytical course that allows you to check levels of explanation in historical narratives produced by students Brazilian and Portuguese from the interpretation of sources related to a historical fact: the transfer of the Portuguese royal family to Brazil (1808).

Didactic texts compose communication and representation systems. By them societies communicate with their children, their youth, transmit them live representations, symbols, ways of understanding speeches and delimit their study fields. This article presents a discussion about the medias used by Portuguese language text books selected by the Ministry of Education Textbook National Program (PNDL in Portuguese), in order to observe the foundation of actions, movements and media insertion at school. The analysis allows us to see the consolidation of an individualist profile among the strategies of using medias at school, among others aspects.

Ea de Queirs published in Gazeta de Notcias, the text Theme for verses I and II in April 2nd and 3rd in 1893 . From part II, it was taken an excerpt and published as a short story under the title The maid when this text was a part of the book Short Stories (12 stories, some of them handwritten, from 1874 to 1897) gathered by his friend, Lus de Magalhes, and published in 1903, under the year of 1902. Since then, the text The maid is present in many editons of Ea de Queirs short stories without any mention to its primary source, the newspaper Gazeta de Notcias (Rio de Janeiro), or even the other part of the text in which it was originally in. The objective of these short considerations is reflecting if the short story, known as The maid, should be read as an excerpt of the original text as it has been done since 1902, or it should be put in its original context, joining the two parts of the text Theme for verses I and II.

In the early XX century scene, the poem writer Cecilia Meireles was the voice of the Portuguese Literature in Brazil. Probably as the writers fi rst husband, the Portuguese artist Fernando Dias, was in contact with the intellectuals from the Portuguese cultural universe, Cecilia certainly had access to Portuguese publishing before they were popular in Brazil. So, by printing, in 1944 the anthology Poetas novos de Portugal, by Dois Mundos Publishing house (directed by Jaime Corteso), Ceclia could spread the Portuguese poetry which had never been published in books in our country. As it has never been printed again, the anthology shows a detailed view about the Portuguese literature scene at that time. My work aims at looking thoroughly this volume, in order to understand the criteria used by Cecilia when selecting the authors and poems, in the light of such piece indicates certain understanding of the Portuguese Literature relations with Brazil.

The discussion of this paper focuses on the search for demarcation of the Momo merriments in the city of So Paulo between 1960 and 1964, aiming to apprehend their specific traits at that juncture. It is known that the Brazilian Carnival, and in its sphere the So Paulo City one, has been steadily becoming enshrined in profile by popular segments. However, in that decade onset such festivities were going through certain peculiarities because it was a period characterized by many changes. The city of So Paulo, particularly, was experiencing an accelerated process of urbanization and consequent massification, as well as a moment of significant expansion of the cultural industry and mass communication means. Were the Momo revels immune to this process? What was the profile of these amusements in the city?

This paper aims at rescuing some critical appraisals found in the high school anthology Autores Contemporneos (1931), by the critic, philologist and writer Joo Ribeiro, one of the main Brazilian intellectual representatives of the first decades of the twentieth century. Joo Ribeiro, along with Coelho Neto and, Laudelino Freire, among others, took part in of the panel which compiled, in 1921, the Dicionrio da Academia Brasileira de Letras. Therefore, we find the analytical process Joo Ribeiro, their theoretical observations, concepts and dilemmas which are appointed by him in literary history and criticism of the early twentieth century.

This article intends to verify the Fanfulla's action in the dynamic of the political propaganda, as well as the cultural exchanges established with the fascism during 1922-1924. The leading question is insert on the political culture studies concerned with the significance of the fascism spread among the Italian immigrants and his descendants located on the Sao Paulo State. It unfold in others questions: the reason of the Mussolini government pledge to publish those ideas, the themes approached in this propaganda, the reactions it rise, as well on the Italian community, the Brazilian government and political movements. On this issue is included the position of the Brazilian government, on the Brazilian diplomacy or in the repressive agencies toward fascist Italy and the supporters of the fascism. The choice of the newspaper Fanfulla is justified for its position in the historiography, considered the most expressive source for this study, due its longevity, relations with the fascist regime and diffusion on Sao Paulo State.

O trabalho de curso aqui presente foi resultado de uma pesquisa bibliogrfica feita pela autora sobre o tema violncia escolar e suas 3 vertentes que so dividas da seguinte forma segundo Charlot (2002): violncia na escola, violncia da escola e violncia escola. Foi usado o acervo online do Jornal do Estado de So Paulo utilizando a palavra chave escola e a partir das notcias colhidas foram feitas anlises dividas em categorias sendo elas: Polticas Pblicas ou a falta dela, Violncia na escola, Violncia da escola e Violncia escola
