O desafio das STARTUPS: um estudo com empresas nascentes de jornalismo no Brasil

A partir de uma revisão sistemática de literatura recente sobre o universo do empreendedorismo por meio de empresas nascentes na área do jornalismo, o trabalho procura caracterizar esse nosso ecossistema econômico e identificar oportunidades para o lançamento de novos produtos e serviços informativos em plataformas digitais. Paralelamente, são mapeados três casos específicos de startups brasileira do setor e avaliados os principais motivos que levaram ao seu sucesso ou fracasso, conforme as estratégias e modelos de negócio adotados. Com base em entrevistas realizadas com gestores, o trabalho examina fatores críticos para o sucesso ou o fracasso desses empreendimentos, discutindo, por fim, alguns dos motivos específicos que levam parte dessas operações a encerrarem suas atividades ou alterarem suas estratégias de negócio precocemente

Os financiamentos do BNDES às usinas sucroalcooleiras paulistas: potencialidades da ampliação da desigualdade regional no Brasil

The present work focuses on addressing the financing made by BNDES to sucroalcooleiras plants located in the State of São Paulo in Brazil. The study points out the Bank loans at São Paulo due to accumulation of plants technical objects that BNDES loans provide the State, with the installation of new equipment, machinery and services in canavieiros enterprises for electric power generation. Sucroalcooleiras plants are getting financing from BNDES to expand and diversify power generation in the country, mainly in São Paulo, because residential and industrial consumption of electricity grows annually. The offer of new financing to sucroalcooleiras plants for energy production Sao Paulo electric provides continued technical density in São Paulo and the expansion of regional inequality in the country. Therefore, the present study highlights for the period 2008 to 2013 the BNDES financing for are sucroalcooleiras plants in order to highlight the consolidation of technical objects in the State and show that the funding will help in the expansion of regional disparity

Crowdfunding is a collective financing tool that has gained notoriety in recent years. Among its qualities, it allows founders easy access to data from previous projects, which tends to reduce the information asymmetry and thereby provide greater certainty for project. As this is a mechanism that, in a way, breaks the paradigm of traditional systems of financing, it is quite relevant in evolutionary economics studies. Other factors that make the common ground between crowdfunding and the evolutionary economics. Simulação numérica de fluxo de águas subterrâneas do aquífero Rio Claro, na região do campus da UNESP - Rio Claro, SP

The water management in any area is highly important to the success of many business and also of life and the understanding of your relationship with the environment brings better control to its demand. I.e. hydrogeological studies are needed under better understanding of the behavior of an aquifer, so that its management is done so as not to deplete or harm it. The objective of this work is the numerical modeling in transient regime of a portion of the Rio Claro aquifer formation in order to get answers about its hydrogeological parameters, its main flow direction and also its most sensitive parameters. A literature review and conceptual characterization of the aquifer, combined with field campaigns and monitoring of local water level (NA), enabled the subsequent construction of the mathematical model by finite elements method, using the FEFLOW 6.1 ® computational algorithm. The study site includes the campus of UNESP and residential and industrial areas of Rio Claro city. Its area of 9.73 km ² was divided into 318040 triangular elements spread over six layers, totaling a volume of 0.25 km³. The local topography and geological contacts were obtained from previous geological and geophysical studies as well as profiles of campus wells and SIAGAS / CPRM system. The seven monitoring wells on campus were set up as observation points for calibration and checking of the simulation results. Sampling and characterization of Rio Claro sandstones shows up a high hydrological and lithological heterogeneity for the aquifer formation. The simulation results indicate values of hydraulic conductivity between 10-6 and 10-4 m / s, getting the Recharge/Rainfall simulation in transient ratio at 13%. Even with the simplifications imposed on the model, it was able to represent the fluctuations of local NA over a year of monitoring. The principles and dimensions of sustainability concept is increasingly gaining ground within the building industry. Over the past decades, its applicability within the different environments and for different buildings typologies have been study to attend better the present populations and future generations. It is within this scenario that international certifications started to appear. The most famous and developed one being LEED certification system. In Brazil, as a support to the certification and also sustainability practices and conducts, was founded the Brazilian Council for Sustainable Construction (CBCS). The council and the certifications have the objective to disseminate and generate awareness to reduce energy and water consumption, aiming for life quality. Many constructions around de country have already the international certification, which also boost the rise of national certifications with specific criteria for the national context. However, such certificates are mainly destiny for medium and high standard buildings, often as a commercial advantage to explain the high costs. The purpose of this work is to be able to define what is being sustainable in the construction industry, taking for basis, LEED and CBCS. In addition, since there is a significant increase in the production of Housing Social Interest, the other angles will be to analyze how to apply the practices and sustainable technologies for low-cost projects with the objective to balance the three dimensions of sustainability: environmental, social and economics.
