El trabajo titulado La Política de Formación Continua de Profesores de Enseñanza Media en RN: límites y posibilidades tiene como objetivo analizar la política de formación continua de profesores de Enseñanza Media implantada en Río Grande del Norte. Parte del supuesto de que las directrices de formación continuada se articulan conforme a los organismos internacionales que desde la década de 1990 extendieron por América Latina un modelo homogéneo de formación, que tiene como principales características la de constituir un servicio a través de la modalidad a distancia y teniendo a la escuela como principal locus. En Brasil, estas características se apoyan en la Ley de Directrices y Bases de Educación Nacional nº. 9.394/96. Este trabajo es parte de un estudio que se desarrolla desde 2004 por la base de investigación Políticas y Gestión de Educación llamada Factores que influyen en la productividad de la Escuela Media: un estudio en Río Grande del Norte. El estudio en cuestión se centra en la dimensión pedagógica de la referida investigación y analiza la política de formación continua del personal docente, y considera como dimensiones de análisis la formación continua promovida en el ámbito escolar, ofrecida por la SECD/RN en el marco de la autoformación. Para la realización del estudio se hizo una búsqueda bibliográfica y documental que permitió la comprensión del objeto de estudio. La investigación empírica se realizó mediante la aplicación de cuestionarios, con preguntas abiertas y cerradas, a los maestros de Enseñanza Media de RN, y a través de entrevistas, semi-estructuradas de naturaleza complementaria, a las coordinadoras estatales de programas dirigidos a la Enseñanza Media. El análisis de los datos obtenidos muestra que no hay en SECD/RN una programación específica para la formación continua de los docentes de ese nivel educativo. Los programas implantados son de carácter nacional, de índole focalizada y no prestan atención a la mayoría de los docentes. La formación continua desarrollada en el âmbito escolar es prácticamente inexistente, y se limita a reuniones y algunos seminarios, sin mucha repercusión en la práctica docente. En cuanto a la autoformación son pocos los profesores que tratan de mejorar su práctica pedagógica con cursos de capacitación. Por lo tanto, se percibe una laguna en la formación de esos profesores y la necesidad de implementar acciones generales de formación continua que favorezcan una mayor y mejor articulación entre la formación inicial y continua, entre la teoría y la práctica, desde una perspectiva transformadora, en el sentido de superar modelos tradicionales de formación que no han tenido repercusión en la práctica docente

The thesis: "autobiographical narrative as practical continuous training and updating of itself: the groups-reference and the reflexive group in the mediation of identity construction of teaching" begins in the founder matter: "What are the implications of groups-reference in the process of identity formation and the teaching role of teachers which is participating of the research? This object of study deals with the continuing education of teachers of Basic Education and the role of the reflective group as space-time of (re) construction of educational knowledge, for the recognition of yourself. The thesis defends that the autobiographical narrative, as a pedagogical tool and research, for the initial and continuous training, is presented as theoretical and methodological foundation necessary for identity formation of the teacher. The research is limited to the qualitative approach with a focus on the autobiographical narrative. The participants are six teachers, three teachers and three students-teachers. The corpus comprises six autobiographical narratives, six reports of successful experiences, two studies on the biographical work, and six individual testimonials about the impact in personal and professional life. The data analysis was to reference Dausien and Alheit (2006), Bruner (1997), Contreras (2002), Delory-Momberger (2007), Freire (2005), Giddens (2002), Josso (2004), new (1988, 2002), Passeggi (2001, 2002), Pineau (2004), Ricoeur (2004), Souza (2006), Tardif (2002) and Vygotsky (2005). The research revealed that the formation of identity as a teachers of the educators occurred in the reference group, involving the formal, non-formal and informal of the processes of knowledge , in a movement of alternation training that includes yourself, the other and the ambient. Also revealed that the pedagogical choices of the teachers studied aimed at minimizing educational gaps that were lived in both field personal and social; that the personal identity is configured as an identity narrative and the methodology of the biographical work, through the mimesis of continuing education, provided the passage from the group reflective to the group of reference

The object of study of this thesis is the use of (self)training workshops as a fundamental process for the constitution of the teaching subject in mathematics education. The central purposes of the study were to describe and analyze a learning process of mathematics teachers supported by the training-research methodology, which procedures have been affected with the practice of (self)training workshops as a way of collaborating to the constitution of the teaching subject in Mathematics Education. The survey was conducted with a group of teachers in the city of Nova Cruz, Rio Grande do Norte through a process of continued education realized in the training workshops having as main goal the realization of the group s (self)training sessions in order to lead participants to the extent of their autonomy in their personal and professional transformations. The results obtained in the formative processes have shown the need to develop activities of mathematics teaching as a contribution to overcome the conceptual difficulties of the teachers, apart from their (self)reflections about themselves and the educational processes in which they belong. The results raised some propositions about (self)training workshops that may be incurred in practices to be included in the curriculum frameworks or materialize as a strategy of pedagogical work in training courses for teachers of mathematics. Also, they can constitute an administrative and educational activity to be instituted in the public schools of Basic Education

This research aims to understand the social representations Teaching Work in groups of undergraduate students of Physics and Chemistry of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. For this, the proposal was based on the three theoretical and methodological consensus Carvalho (2012) in the explanation of socio-genetic mechanisms constituents of dynamic consensus that has functionality to your organization. It Was used to achieve this goal, the theoretical-epistemological Serge Moscovici (1978, 2003), Jodelet (2011), Wagner (1998,( 2011) and Carvalho (2012). The corpus analyzed results from a qualitative and quantitative research, developed in three stages. The first two (2) questionnaires to fifty (50) of each undergraduate course, a questionnaire and another profile for collection of free associations concerning motes inductors "Give Lesson," "Student" and "Teacher". The second step in the procedure Multiple Classifications, Roazzi (1995), aimed for another thirty (30) undergraduate students for each course, as well as Document Analysis of Educational Projects Curriculum courses in Physics and Chemistry. The data analysis of the first stage focused on descriptive statistics and frequency and average order of the words associated with motes inductors. The results from the Multiple Classification Procedure submitted to multidimensional analysis (MSA multidimensional scalogram analysis) and SSA (Similarity Structure Analysis), were interpreted by the theoretical and methodological proposal of the three consensus, supported by analysis of the rhetorical nature of justifications classifications and categorizations of words, boosted in times of application of Procedure Multiple Classification. The data revealed that the groups surveyed were the same Social Representation with specific dynamic consensual. Thinking Teaching Work for these groups it is considered in three dimensions: the BE-DO-HAVE of teaching. In the group of Physics consensus was clear semantic, which expressed a dynamic in which the interpretations of "Teaching Work" peacefully coexist on perceptions of two concepts: An identity around the "BE" "Teacher" or "BE" "Educator" and the other, how they think about professional development. The type of group consensus Chemistry pointed to a consensual logic hierarchical order in which the gradual between the elements of BE-DO-HAVE attested conflicts and disagreements about the perceptual object "Teaching Work", around what value most, whether they are the attributes of personal or professional-technical dimension of teaching, in the course of professional development. This research aimed to analyze the dynamics established between the activity of the teacher in Distance Education (DE) and professional gender of teaching, in terms of impact of DE in teacher s usual professional activity. Previous studies showed that one of the central discussions concerning DE refers to the role that the teacher is called to perform. The present research, based on theoretical and methodological assumptions issued from Clinic of Activity, analyzed the impact referred above. This central aim was operationally executed along three main stages: 1) survey study for description of socio-professional profile of teachers working in DE in two universities from Natal (RN-Brazil), 2) clinical analysis of professional activity of teachers working in DE, taking into account four simultaneous levels of psychological constitution and development of human activity: personal, interpersonal, transpersonal and impersonal; 3) analytical focus on transpersonal context in order to understand the influence of pedagogical practice in DE on professional gender of teaching. Documental research, audio recorded voice data and a multiple choice Likert scale questionnaire concerning socio-professional information were used as procedural tools. The qualitative-clinical procedural tool of instruction to the double , firstly proposed by Clinic of Activity research group, was used in order to obtain oral productions concerning professional activity. Data issued from stage 1 (n=70, 28 men and 41 women) was submitted to descriptive and inferential statistical analyzes. 65.7% of the sample worked in a public institution, 30% in a private institution, and 4.3% in public and private institutions. 31.4% of the sample of participants was formed by teachers having a master degree, 28.6% were doctors and 26.3% had degrees of specialists. 54.3% of participants acted as remote tutor, and 44.3% were regents teachers. After descriptive multidimensional cluster analysis, two groups emerged (remote tutors and regents teachers), the most important variables in terms of contributions to this distinction being: professional function, level of graduate formation, level of income, activities and forms of entry in DE. Clinical analysis of data produced by two participant-teachers of each group, issued from instruction to the double technique, was performed. This analysis indicated the existence of different models of distance education. A general concern referring to the need of both taking into account information technology and pedagogical attitudes was detected. On the other hand, participant-teachers considered that participation in DE activities could bring relevant contributions to general professional gender of teaching. . Finally, teachers warned against certain formats of organization of teachers professional activity, as found in the domain of DE, since these activities could promote the intensification and individualization of teachers` work activity, and even the worsening of relations, rather than exchanges and shares through collective bargaining. This process could compromise the renew of the professional gender, by losing its historical roots and diminishing activity possibilities of teachers in their labor context
