Da escala médica de saúde à experiência social do saudável :diálogo entre os espaços dos bares e das academias fisiculturistas na cidade do Natal-RN

For beyond these instances, emerges in our days a plural, close and biographical agreement well of the body and welfare. On the other hand, an understanding of the healthful life and well-being that more certifies the presence of something the one that clear landmarks amongst normality and the irregularity, the esteem and the destructive vice: it has a projection of healthful life measures without conceptual models of body and health under the doctor-scientific standard occidental. This thematic one will confide in way to the enclosure for spaces to the muscles and fitness exercises and the bars from the city of Natal, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, while comprehensive interchange concerning as the individual comes dealing with the notion the body and health and, mainly, if perceiving inside of its body and its health. Análise quali-quantitativa do deslocamento da camada-limite em carrocerias veiculares

Dois dos principais objetivos no estudo da aerodinâmica de veículos é a segurança e o desempenho. Esses objetivos podem ser alcançados através do desenvolvimento de dispositivos que modifiquem o escoamento de ar ao redor do veículo e também através de alterações da forma das superfícies externas. O perfil mais baixo da frente do veículo, por exemplo, tem grande influência sobre o coeficiente de penetração aerodinâmica (Cx) e posteriormente sobre grande parte da distribuição de pressão ao longo da superfície do veículo. O objetivo deste trabalho foi de analisar o comportamento aerodinâmico que incide sobre 2 (dois) tipos de carrocerias de veículos, baseado em experimentação em túnel aerodinâmico, visando determinar a eficiência aerodinâmica de cada uma delas. Foram comparados dois modelos de veículos, sendo um deles com configuração familiar, muito comum nas grandes cidades e outro modelo com configuração esportiva mais voltado para o desempenho, ambos com escala 1:18. Para a realização do experimento foi construído um túnel aerodinâmico do tipo soprador com circuito aberto, onde foram analisadas as distribuições de pressão nas superfícies inferiores e superiores da carroceria dos modelos e o deslocamento da camada-limite. Tomando-se por base toda a teórica deste trabalho, com relação à aerodinâmica de carroceria, considerou-se nesta dissertação que essa filosofia de pesquisa é capaz de gerar reflexos positivos, que podem tornar os veículos cada vez mais eficientes e influenciar positivamente nos níveis de segurança e desempenho

(Santa) Rita de Cássia na boca do povo de Santa Cruz/RN: identidades culturais em construção

The purpose of this study is to investigate the cultural identities of Santa Rita de Cassia constructed from the representations contained in the speech of Santa Cruz urban area residents, which is located in a harsh part of the State of Rio Grande do Norte. These residents make the story of the Saint full of meaning for themselves, in their daily lives, as well as to the society. This is observed in the narration of Rita de Cassia’s story which has been told in the city over the past one hundred and eighty years, the number of women's names and commercial establishments named “Santa Rita”. In 2010, with the inauguration of the Alto de Santa Rita – a space for worshiping the saint –, the amount of visitors increased in the city, due to the construction and inauguration of a colossal monument representing the image of Rita de Cassia. Then, new social, cultural, religious and political aspects became part of the local reality of the city of Santa Cruz, what made residents have something in common to talk about. According to the interdisciplinary approach of Applied Linguistics, our theoretical background is based on the socio-historical language concept, which understands language as discursive practice. Still theoretically speaking, this study establishes an interface with cultural studies, taking into account the concept of cultural identity in post-modernity society. Discourse analysis proved plural, with a multiplicity of cultural identities ranging from very obedient daughter to wife who suffered because of the husband, from very religious woman to the widow who entered the convent, on to the Saint of the miracles and healings interceding in the lives of the ones who seek for help. It was also observed in the above mentioned investigative path that these identities can be constructed and reconstructed if immersed in a different set of social practices historically determined
