A redação de teses e dissertações: estudo de aspectos lingüísticos e gramáticais em monografias produzidas entre 1989 e 1993

Este trabalho trata de aspectos lingüísticos e gramaticais de teses de doutorado e de dissertações de mestrado produzidas em uma escola superior de administração da cidade de São Paulo, no período compreendido entre 1989 e 1993. O trabalho divide-se em três partes. Na primeira, estudam-se as orientações de autores especializados na análise e na redação de textos. Com base em uma amostra de teses e dissertações, examina-se como são - ou não - aplicadas nas frases essas orientações. São comentados os problemas de elaboração de texto encontrados e são feitas recomendações. Na segunda parte, estudam-se as orientações de conceituados autores especializados em gramática normativa da língua portuguesa. Com base na amostra das teses e dissertações, examina-se como são aplicadas nos vocábulos e nas frases essas orientações. São comentadas as dificuldades gramaticais encontradas e são feitas recomendações. São comentadas também dificuldades gramaticais da fala dos administradores. Na terceira parte, estão as conclusões suscitadas pelo exame da teoria e pelo exame da pesquisa realizada

Uma casa e seus segredos: a formação de olhares sobre o Museu Mariano Procópio

Esse trabalho busca refletir as possibilidades e desafios da educação histórica em museus. Com este objetivo, selecionamos o Museu Mariano Procópio (Juiz de Fora-MG) como cenário para nossa proposta. O produto proposto é composto por três partes principais, a saber, o livreto sobre o MMP, as pranchas pedagógicas sobre seu acervo e, por fim, as fichas para adultos, com informações adicionais. Em um primeiro momento, analisamos o processo de constituição do Museu Mariano Procópio e seu acervo, a partir de uma perspectiva histórica. A consecução do produto foi realizada a partir de diálogos teóricos entre as pesquisas do ensino de História, da educação e da museologia. Com base na leitura de dissertações e teses sobre educação em museus, mapeamos brevemente as principais questões colocadas pelos pesquisadores a partir dos anos 80. Em seguida, apresentamos nossos pressupostos de educação histórica, aliado a uma discussão sobre a aprendizagem a partir de fontes primárias. A proposta de um produto pedagógico, destinado ao público infantil, nos levou à sondagem de outros materiais produzidos pelos museus. Por fim, apresentamos o processo de produção do material pedagógico.

Reconstruindo o estado: gestão de organizações e serviços públicos em processo de mudança

This study is a gathering and analysis of the main proposals and initiatives of Public Reform in Brazil, in a specific social area: the Education sector. The research considered the period that goes from the beginning of the 80's to the first half of the 90's, with special emphasis to the role of management in the sector's reform. The debate over the Education Reform was centered on the more general theories of the Government's reform, related on the one hand to the functions and size of Government, and on the other hand, to the management of the governmental policies. Two distinct moments were identified in the period considered, with respect to the role of Education and the priorities of the sector's reform. In a first moment, between the beginning of the 80's and the new Constitution, Education was seen as a citizen's right. In a second moment, the qualification for work was also added, as a condition for Brazil's entering a new international order. As to priorities, the emphasis was in the democratization of management and decision making processes, in the 80's. From the end of the decade on, and through the 90's, besides the democratization theme, emphasis was given to modernization of the decision making processes and management. The interaction between democratization and modernization became one of the biggest challenges for the sector's reform, and is a condition for Government to enhance quality and equity in education.

Esta pesquisa bibliográfica procurou levantar os periódicos, as Teses e Dissertações da Pós-Graduação em Antropologia Social de três universidades (Unicamp, Universidade de Brasília e o Museu Nacional) que analisassem o método etnográfico para a abordagem da Cultura das Organizações. Levanta, também, algumas reflexões a respeito da Antropologia das sociedades complexas.

O processo decisório no município de Macaé

This research had as objective to identify as if it gives to the process of decisions in the City of Macaé. It was a case study, therefore to make possible this analysis, the used ways had been the research of field, bibliographical and documentary. The bibliographical survey was made in books, specialized periodicals, thesis, dissertations, monographs, sites and the pertinent legislation to the case, generating an analytical base of the subject considered for study. The research also was documentary, since internal document use of the City Hall of Macaé became. In the field, the public decision-making of Macaé, the previous management, had been interviewed, so that it was understood of that it forms if gives the process of taking of decisions in this city. Moreover, the interviewed ones had been encouraged to display its beliefs and feelings, to tell to experiences and personal characteristics. With this, one searched to better understand the universe lived for the respondents and, simultaneously, to compare the speeches and the reality. The data had suffered analysis of content based on the studies from Bardin (1979), Laville and Dione (1999) and Vergara (2005). The study it approaches the City of Macaé, and, in accordance with Yin (2001), studies of cases allow to work with an immense variety of evidences, as documents, devices, interviews and comments. The research bibliographical, documentary, of field, in the case study had been complementary and with its confrontation it searched to get a general vision of form to give to reply to the final question proposal. One concludes that the process of decisions politics and its implementation in the City of Macaé if gave by means of the awareness of the executive former-managers of the City Hall, in assuming roles of true entrepreneurs, the good relationship with the Common Council, in the search of chances and the combat to the problems and the establishment of public politics, focused in the access and the improvement of the quality of the public rendering of services, in the incentive the economic development and in the promotion of the citizenship for the population place.

Questões contemporâneas referentes à educação e ao ensino à luz de pesquisas recentes em dissertações de mestrado em administração e gestão educacional

Este trabalho tem como principal objetivo de estudo as questões contemporâneas sobre educação e ensino à luz das dissertações de mestrado apresentadas à Escola Brasileira de Administração Pública. O tema educação vem sendo, ultimamente, uma das principais estratégias de formuladores de políticas públicas, visto o "gargalo educacional" em que se encontra o Brasil para seu crescimento. Constatada a relevância do tema na atualidade, iniciamos o trabalho situando as questões da educação em contexto histórico no qual diferentes forças políticas se confrontam, configurando um duelo de diretrizes educacionais. A partir deste contexto histórico, apresentamos as questões contemporâneas sobre educação. Finalmente, na última parte deste trabalho, analisamos as propostas apresentadas sobre educação, verificando a eficácia de implementação e o tipo de abordagem realizada pelos autores.
