Fa dotze anys l'autor d'aquest article va donar a conèixer la documentació dels anys 1944-1946 que, procedent dels arxius governatius i de les presons gironines, feia referència a la vida clandestina i de represaliat del polític i professor Josep Pallach (Figueres 1920-l’Hospitalet de Llobregat 1977), antic militant del Bloc Obrer i Camperol i del Partit Obrer d’Unificació Marxista (POUM). Imposicions estructurals en el drenatge de la conca del riu Onyar (Girona)

The Onyar River basin is situated in the depression of la Selva. His origins are related to tectonic activity during Neogen in this region. In his evolution, we note a slowly and continuous downfall which directs the morphodinamical behaviour. In this sense, the drainage network has a directional trend towards the north, as consecuence of fault systems, and specially the N-S oriented one. A fault of this system has an important influence in the basin morphology, directs the drainage towards the north and avoids a closely drainage in the basin

Morfolitología de las terrazas del Ter en Girona

It is a contribution to the study of the terraces of the river Ter along its mid-course in the town of Girona, since that is the last speace where it is still possible to observe four of these terraces with clear characteristics of climatical deposition. Itsmorphological peculiarities are described as well as the morphometrical and lithological parameters of its pebbles. The Bac Grillera nappe (Prepirenean of Girona) shows a stratigraphic section composed of two unconformi ty-bounded units. The lower unit is composed by rethian (marly limestones) and liassic (brechoid marly limestones and limestones). The upper unit (sandstones and marly limestones) belongs to the upper Cretaceous (Campanian)

Cronologia dels travertins de Llorà (Girona)

With the aim of radiocarbon dating Llora travertines, chemical and isotopic data of strearn water and present travertines have been analyzed. The purpose is to determine the radiocarbon activity of present travertines in order to assign an initial radiocarbon activity to the old ones. Applying this methodology we conclude that travertines are from Holocen age around 4.000 years BP

El Camí de Sant Jaume en la provincia de Girona

En primer lugar se identifican las distintas rutas del Camí de Sant Jaume en la provincia de Girona con el objetivo de determinar cuáles han sido las principales rutas que los peregrinos han utilizado para su peregrinación hacia Santiago de Compostela dentro de la provincia de Girona. En segundo lugar se establecen los elementos que determinan que un itinerario concreto esté comprendido en el Camino de Santiago para lo cual se analizan las rutas y se buscan los componentes que tienen una relación directa con la peregrinación a Santiago de Compostela, bien por ser elementos descriptivos del Santo, bien por ser elementos que a lo largo de la historia se han atribuido a los peregrinos que peregrina a Santiago de Compostela. En tercer lugar se analiza el recorrido del Camí de Sant Jaume elegido por la Generalitat de Catalunya, se examinan los servicios que ofrece y las carencias o insuficiencias que posee. Finalmente se establece la confección de propuestas de mejora y las acciones pertinentes para corregir las debilidades que en su caso puedan tener estos itinerarios
