This paper studies the ability of pre-kindergarten students with both normal hearing and impaired hearing to identify emotions in speech through audition only. In addition, the study assesses whether a listener's familiarity with a speaker's voice has an effect on his/her ability to identify the emotion of the speaker.

This paper discusses a patient satisfaction survey developed for the Central Institute for the Deaf Clinic. The goal of the survey project was to establish a patient satisfaction for services baseline and to examine factors affecting patient satisfaction, such as degree of hearing loss, gender, age, and experience of the audiologist.

This descriptive study investigates the representation of Cued Speech in teacher of the deaf preparation programs as well as attitudes towards inclusion of Cued Speech in those programs in the context of the 2004 reauthorization of IDEA.
