Sähkönsiirtoprojektien kustannuslaskennan kehittäminen

Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli lisätä tietoa asiakasyrityksen voimajohto- ja sähköasemaliiketoimintayksiköiden tarjouslaskennan nykytilasta, etsiä ongelmakohtia ja kehittää ratkaisuja ongelmiin. Työn tuloksena saatu tieto on kyseisille liiketoimintayksiköille tärkeää tulevaisuuden kannattavuuden ja jatkuvuuden kannalta. Työn alun teoriaosuudessa esitellään Suomen sähkönsiirtojärjestelmä, käydään läpi voimajohto- ja sähköasemarakentamisen perusteet sekä esitellään kirjallisuuskatsaus projektiliiketoiminnasta. Teoriaosuutta hyödynnetään myöhemmissä tarkasteluissa joissa pyrittiin löytämään kustannuslaskennan ongelmia. Tutkimuksen tärkein tavoite oli löytää tämän hetkisen kustannuslaskennan ongelmakohdat. Tutkimukseen sisältyy tarjouslaskentaohjelmiston koekäyttö sekä sen analysointi. Työn lopputuloksena todetaan, ettei tarkasteltu ohjelma ole sopiva voimajohto- tai sähköasematarjouslaskennan toteutukseen. Ohjelma on laskentatarkkuudeltaan hyvä, mutta ohjelman käyttö hidastaa ja vaikeuttaa sekä laskennan että projektin talouden seurannan suorittamista. Lopputuloksissa todetaan myös erinäisiä pienempiä kehityskohteita tarjouslaskennan sujuvoittamiseksi ja sen tarkkuuden parantamiseksi. 

Exoskeletonit ja niiden ohjaus

Tässä työssä tarkastellaan sekä kehitteillä että markkinoilla olevia exoskeletoneja. Työssä esitellään ja vertaillaan kahta erilaista markkinoilla olevaa ja kolmea pitkälle kehitysvaiheessaan edennyttä exoskeletonia. Lisäksi työssä esitellään exoskeletoneiden ohjauksen perusteet ja erilaisia ohjausmenetelmiä sekä pohditaan niiden tulevaisuutta.

Successful IFRS standard change implementation process after the initial IFRS implementation

The main objective of the study was to form a strategic process model and project management tool to help IFRS change implementation projects in the future. These research results were designed based on the theoretical framework of Total Quality Management and leaning on the facts that were collected during the empirical case study of IAS 17 change. The us-age of the process oriented approach in IFRS standard change implementation after the initial IFRS implementation is rationalized with the following arguments: 1) well designed process tools lead to optimization of resources 2) With the help of process stages and related tasks it is easy to ensure the efficient way of working and managing the project as well as make sure to include all necessary stakeholders to the change process. This research is following the qualitative approach and the analysis is in describing format. The first part of the study is a literature review and the latter part has been conducted as a case study. The data has been col-lected in the case company with interviews and observation. The main findings are a process model for IFRS standard change process and a check-list formatted management tool for up-coming IFRS standard change projects. The process flow follows the main cornerstones in IASB’s standard setting process and the management tool has been divided to stages accordingly.

Distribution network design and optimization

The objective of this thesis is to examine distribution network designs and modeling practices and create a framework to identify best possible distribution network structure for the case company. The main research question therefore is: How to optimize case company’s distribution network in terms of customer needs and costs? Theory chapters introduce the basic building blocks of the distribution network design and needed calculation methods and models. Framework for the distribution network projects was created based on the theory and the case study was carried out by following the defined framework. Distribution network calculations were based on the company’s sales plan for the years 2014 - 2020. Main conclusions and recommendations were that the new Asian business strategy requires high investments in logistics and the first step is to open new satellite DC in China as soon as possible to support sales and second possible step is to open regional DC in Asia within 2 - 4 years.
