Location models for airline hubs behaving as M/D/c queues

Models are presented for the optimal location of hubs in airline networks, that take into consideration the congestion effects. Hubs, which are the most congested airports, are modeled as M/D/c queuing systems, that is, Poisson arrivals, deterministic service time, and {\em c} servers. A formula is derived for the probability of a number of customers in the system, which is later used to propose a probabilistic constraint. This constraint limits the probability of {\em b} airplanes in queue, to be lesser than a value $\alpha$. Due to the computational complexity of the formulation. The model is solved using a meta-heuristic based on tabu search. Computational experience is presented.

Ni las fuentes escritas, ni las fuentes arqueológicas ofrecen datos concluyentes sobre la adopción de un estatuto jurídico romano antes de su etapa bizantina.

Desenvolupament d'un motor 2D per videojocs de plataformes mòbils

L’objectiu del projecte és la creació d’un motor gràfic id’esdeveniments per a jocs RPG per a plataformes mòbils, en aquest casper a Nintendo DS. S’ha de remarcar que el que s’està proposant no és laprogramació d’un videojoc, sinó que el que es desenvoluparà és el motorde joc. Aquest motor comptarà no solament amb la funcionalitat bàsica devisualització i animació d’escenaris i personatges, detecció de col•lisionsentre personatges i elements de l’escenari, sinó que a més, comptarà ambles funcionalitats pròpies dels jocs més sofisticats (esdeveniments). Aquestmotor és compatible per a Nintendo DS i/o qualsevol emulador d’aquestaplataforma per a PC

Se presentan las ofrendas repetidas de jarras usadas conteniendo huevos, porciones de gallináceas y ovicápridos junto a los muros exteriores de dos villas romanas próximas a Emporiae. Se interpretan como un ritual expiatorio y lustral ofrendado a los Manes familiares.

Estatuto jurídico y urbanismo en la Tingitana (s. I-VII d.C.). Russadir

El objetivo de este trabajo es discernir, en la medida de lo posible, si la ciudad de Russadir (Melilla) obtuvo en la antigüedad un estatuto jurídico romano. Se utilizan tanto las fuentes literarias grecolatinas y árabes medievales, como la arqueología. Los autores concluyen, en base a los datos de que se dispone en la actualidad, que la ciudad disponía de un estatuto jurídico romano desde el s. I a.C., no siendo posible determinar con precisión su evolución posterior.
