DU GRAIN À LA MUSIQUE : MANIPULATIONS EN TEMPS RÉEL

Dans cet article, nous présenterons une étude comparative de quelques techniques de manipulation du signal comme la Transformée de Fourier à Court Terme, la Synthèse Granulaire Asynchrone et PSOLA, notamment dans le cadre de leur utilisation en temps réel. Nous présenterons succinctement le fonctionnement de ces trois méthodes dans l’environnement Max / MSP avec l’utilisation de la librairie GABOR. La manipulation des paramètres propres à chaque méthode a des conséquences sur les variables musicales, et l’utilisation de ces méthodes implique des corrélations entre les paramètres techniques du traitement du signal et des attributs musicaux spécifiques. Ainsi, nous essayerons d’explorer les espaces des paramètres et de la perception musicales entre le temps, la période et le spectre (les rythmes, les fréquences et les timbres) en comparant les différentes méthodes en vue de leur croisement dans un système de traitement commun.

A Utopia nos romances filosóficos dos Iluministas franceses: O Suplemento à viagem de Bougainville de Diderot como exemplo paradigmático

Neste artigo serão analisadas algumas características das manifestações utópicas presentes nos romances filosóficos do Iluministas pré-revolução Francesa, tendo como texto exemplar o Suplemento à viagem de Bougainville, de Denis Diderot, figura maior do pensamento iluminista francês. O objectivo será o de tentar perceber porque é que num século em que a produção de utopias literárias atinge as várias centenas e a sua diversidade parece avessa a qualquer generalização redutora, as figuras cimeiras do movimento filosófico francês anterior à Revolução Francesa – Voltaire, Montesquieu, Rousseau, Diderot – não utilizaram a utopia como forma de expressão da cultura iluminista.

Os diferentes níveis de regulação legal dos conflitos de interesses no âmbito da gestão de fundos de investimento mobiliário

In the context of the activity developed by securities investment funds (hereinafter referred to “SIF”) the holders of investment units have a very tiny power to intervene. Aware of the risks that a decoupling between ownership and control may pose, the legislator has foreseen a number of impositions and limitations to the activity of the managing entities, namely to prevent or prohibit the performance of acts in situations of potential conflicts of interests. Accordingly, the purpose of the dissertation on – “Os diferentes níveis de regulação legal dos conflitos de interesses no âmbito da gestão de FIM” – is exactly to determine the field of application of the several levels of legal regulation of the conflicts of interests that arise within the scope of the management of SIF, both at the level of the new legal requirements governing collective investment undertakings, and at the level of the legal requirements governing the conflicts of interests foreseen in the Portuguese Securities Code, in order to clarify the articulation of these different levels of conflicts of interests regulations.
