Poly(vinylidene fluoride)/Pb(Zr0.53Ti0.47)O3,([PVDF]1x/[PZT]x) composites of volume fractions x and (03) type connectivity were prepared in the form of thin films. PZT powders with average grain sizes of 0.2, 0.84, and 2.35 m in different volume fraction of PZT up to 40 % were mixed with the polymeric matrix. The influence of the inorganic particle size and its content on the thermal degradation properties of the composites was then investigated by means of thermo-gravimetric analysis. It is observed that filler size affects more than filler concentration the degradation temperature and activation energy of the polymer. In the same way and due to their larger specific area, smaller particles leave larger solid residuals after the polymer degradation. The polymer degradation mechanism is not significantly modified by the presence of the inorganic fillers. On the other hand, an inhibition effect occurs due to the presence of the fillers, affecting particularly the activation energy of the process.

A chamada Lei do Branqueamento de Capitais - Lei 25/2008, de 5/6 e alteraes -, considera que esto sujeitas a especiais obrigaes os Notrios, conservadores de registos, advogados, solicitadores e outros profissionais independentes, constitudos em sociedade ou em prtica individual, que intervenham ou assistam, por conta de um cliente ou noutras circunstncias, em operaes: vi) De alienao e aquisio de direitos sobre praticantes de actividades desportivas profissionais;. Estamos a pensar, como bvio, nas transferncias de jogadores de futebol, nomeadamente na Europa, as quais atingem somas astronmicas e muitas vezes ocultas. So por demais evidentes as notcias da comunicao social que do conta que, em muitos dos casos, os verdadeiros valores envolvidos no so os declarados. Quer para fugir aos impostos, quer para esconder o pagamento de avultadas comisses extraordinrias; Abstract: The Call of the Money Laundering Law - Law 25/2008, of 5/6 and change - considers that are subject to the special obligations "notaries, registrars, lawyers, solicitors and other independent professionals, made in society or in practice individual, that participating or assisting, on behalf of a client or other circumstances in operations: vi) sale and acquisition of rights to practitioners of professional sports activities; ". We are thinking, of course, transfers of football players, particularly in Europe, which reach astronomical sums and often hidden. Are all too apparent the news media that realize that in many cases the true values involved are not declared. Want to evade taxes or to hide the payment of large exceptional fees.

O direito constitucional greve est consagrado no art. 57 da Constituio. Desde que estejam assegurados os servios mnimos indispensveis s necessidades sociais impreterveis -, o direito greve absolutamente inalienvel e no pode ser coarctado por uma qualquer requisio civil, em conjugao com o art. 18/2 da Constituio; The constitutional right to strike is enshrined in art. 57 of the Constitution. Provided they are guaranteed the minimum services - indispensable to essential social needs - the right to strike is absolutely inalienable and can not be inhibited by any "civil requisition", in conjunction with art. 18/2 of the Constitution.

Dental implant recognition in patients without available records is a time-consuming and not straightforward task. The traditional method is a complete user-dependent process, where the expert compares a 2D X-ray image of the dental implant with a generic database. Due to the high number of implants available and the similarity between them, automatic/semi-automatic frameworks to aide implant model detection are essential. In this study, a novel computer-aided framework for dental implant recognition is suggested. The proposed method relies on image processing concepts, namely: (i) a segmentation strategy for semi-automatic implant delineation; and (ii) a machine learning approach for implant model recognition. Although the segmentation technique is the main focus of the current study, preliminary details of the machine learning approach are also reported. Two different scenarios are used to validate the framework: (1) comparison of the semi-automatic contours against implants manual contours of 125 X-ray images; and (2) classification of 11 known implants using a large reference database of 601 implants. Regarding experiment 1, 0.970.01, 2.240.85 pixels and 11.126 pixels of dice metric, mean absolute distance and Hausdorff distance were obtained, respectively. In experiment 2, 91% of the implants were successfully recognized while reducing the reference database to 5% of its original size. Overall, the segmentation technique achieved accurate implant contours. Although the preliminary classification results prove the concept of the current work, more features and an extended database should be used in a future work.
