El clima intuido en el Madrid medieval a trav��s de sus documentos y del Libro de la Monter��a (siglos XIV-XVI)

El presente trabajo pretende analizar cu��les eran las caracter��sticas clim��ticas que se suced��an en Madrid y su Tierra a lo largo del a��o, fundamentalmente entre los siglos XIV y XVI. Se intentar�� comprobar, dentro de las limitaciones que impone la documentaci��n de la ��poca, si en aquel tiempo se daba tambi��n un clima mediterr��neo, o no, y si este ha variado mucho desde entonces. Igualmente se podr�� comprobar algo que tal vez podr��a, aunque no deber��a, sorprendernos: el hombre medieval ten��a muy claros muchos conceptos meteorol��gicos y climatol��gicos, aunque siempre aprehendidos con una finalidad pr��ctica, para aplicarlos en su vida cotidiana tan cercana y dependiente de la naturaleza.

La escritura electr��nica es en la actualidad una modalidad gr��fica de gran ��xito que en los ��ltimos a��os comenz�� a ser albo de diversas investigaciones ling����sticas. Sin embargo, un an��lisis exclusivamente gramatical, desvinculado del medio social en el que se utiliza, parece insuficiente para entender un fen��meno de tal complejidad. Consecuentemente, analizamos sus caracter��sticas en base a los condicionamientos socioling����sticos presentes en el caso gallego. As��, examinamos las implicaciones de la situaci��n de contacto y conflicto ling����stico entre el gallego y el espa��ol, se��alamos las motivaciones de la alternancia de c��digo y de las interferencias ling����sticas ���que no siempre coinciden con las que operan en la lengua com��n- y observamos que estas pr��cticas son consecuencia de la confluencia de factores socioling����sticos con otros de naturaleza pragm��tica.

Population and Government in Colonial Buenos Aires. An Approach to the Study of the Tensions Generated by Demographic Growth in the City (1740-1776)

The relationship between population and government in the City of Buenos Aires is analyzed, focusing on the tensions generated by the arrival of new individuals, a local elite with great interests in commerce and in charge of community affairs, and Spanish functionaries that progressively adopted the ideals of the Bourbon Dynasty, despite also being implicated in local logics. It interests us to observe the governors��� perspectives with respect to everyday developments in the city, their preoccupations and interests, and how they would vary the mechanisms to which they resorted in order to organize daily life, in the period defined between 1740 and 1776.

Collocations used in DELE B1 reading tests

This paper aims to investigate the use of collocations in DELE B1. We select the reading texts from DELE B1 (2010 to 2014) as research data. The investigation includes: First of all, we will study the theory of collocation and the classification as well as its application to the foreign language learning and teaching. Second, we will analyze the types of collocation annotated by Corpus Tool. Third, we tend to calculate the frequency use of each type of collocations written in Spanish reading texts. Next, we will discuss the interrelationship between collocations and text themes. Finally, we would like to compare the differences of results of collocation use between these two corpus tools: Corpus Tool and Corpus del Espa��ol in order to understand the native speakers��� preference of use collocations as well as to provide supplementay materials for teaching of Spanish reading. We hope that the expected results of our research will offer useful references for improving students' Spanish reading comprehension to pass DELE B1 examinations.

El diminutivo en el espa��ol de Santo Domingo

Esta investigaci��n analiza el uso del sufijo diminutivo en un corpus oral de j��venes de la Rep��blica Dominicana. El material procede de la transcripci��n de veinte entrevistas orales realizadas en los a��os noventa en Santo Domingo. En este estudio se realiza un an��lisis de las ocurrencias documentadas, su morfolog��a, sus preferencias en cuanto a la selecci��n de las clases de palabras que se toman como base para la formaci��n de diminutivos, sus posibles valores sem��nticos y comunicativos, y, por ��ltimo, se determina la frecuencia de uso del diminutivo en funci��n del sexo de los hablantes.

Interpretation and typology Spanish indefinite pronoun uno in three discoursive genres

This study investigates the Spanish indefinite pronoun uno (���one���). After a detailed analysis of its occurrences in authentic language, we find that its interpretation varies depending on the linguistic context. Therefore, we examine which elements of the context - we focus on the broader context, beyond the sentence ��� have an impact on its interpretation and develop a typology of the indefinite pronoun as to its interpretation. The pronoun may be interpreted as completely generic or specific (referring to the speaker, the listener or a third person). Its interpretation can also be located in an intermediate position between these interpretive extremes.In addition, we compare its use in various discursive genres - spontaneous conversations, academic essays and web forum - which are distinguished by the presence or absence of interactivity and of more or less subjectivity / intersubjectivity. The comparison shows that pronoun use depends on these characteristics.
