Mathematics notebook, ca. 1714-1718, with chronology of the reign of Augustus

The first two pages of this notebook contain a comparative chronology of the reign of Augustus, outlined in two columns. One column outlines the chronology according to ecclesiastical scholar Laurence Echard, and the other column outlines the chronology according to William Cave. The rest of the notebook contains extensive entries on the following subjects, with related rules, problems, and illustrations: fractions, decimals, arithmetical progression, geometrical progression, "disjunct proportion, or ye Golden Rule," signs and symbols, integers, geometrical definitions, and Euclidian geometry.

Student notebook of Jonathan Trumbull, 1724-1725

The bound notebook contains academic texts copied by Harvard student Jonathan Trumbull in 1724 and 1725. The volume includes transcriptions of Harvard Instructor Judah Monis' Hebrew Grammar, Tutor William Brattle's Compendium of Logic, and Fellow Charles Morton's Natural Logic.

Grammatica literarum, syllabarum, verborum, & sententiarum, 1754

One-page handwritten list of 20 numbered theses in Latin presumed to be copied by Bela Lincoln. The document is signed "Lincoln 1754." The document title translates as "Grammar of letters, syllables, words, and sentences" and includes all of the nine theses listed in the "Theses Grammaticae" section of the 1754 Commencement broadside.

Pocock which was taken 13 Aug. 1762, Ths. Kitchin sculpt. engraver to H.R.H. the Duke of York. It was published by J. Boydell engraver in Cheapside & R. Willcock bookseller in Cornhill, Novr. 1st 1762. Scale [ca. 1:24,000]. The image inside the map neatline is georeferenced to the surface of the earth and fit to the 'NAD 1927 Cuba Norte' coordinate system.
